Camp Rumours

Iseng is seen increasing her visits to the Yath lately, also making sacrifices in terms of minor burnt riches on the alter.
Apparently, she is eager to seek someone from the Yath to aid her in divination on some issue that troubles her. The shebali tries to get an audience with Elina'reuth, but she is busy with other things.

Rumor has it that the Zau'Afin Matron is putting together an excavation group in hopes of uncovering a new path to the surface on the other side of Lake Schindrylin.

Other rumors state dealings with the illithid involving the use of Umber Hulks...

The two Jaluks, Jhael and Xiaen Quath'Phaer come back to camp with disturbing news.

Apparently they ran into duergars roaming the caverns, not far from the camp, demanding money and life. The two then regale a tale of how they outwitted the duergar and made an elegant escape.

The duergars roaming freely does still pose a problem though.

Bhinas was seen looking for those two jaluken, possibly to get a detailed description of those duergars.

The Bae'queshel Nanga Zau'afin has been seen more around camp. Last cycle she lead a small patrol to the surface. Yathrin Quath'sil was in the patrol also to provide Lolths divine presence. The patrol passed through the Duergar tunnels and exit just under the Zhent controlled Farmlands. Under the cover of darkness the patrol exited the Old Skull Caverns quickly but did not stay long. The presence of Zhent Skymages a successful block to the Drow raiding force.

Frei'ri gossips to customers who visit him that a fresh rivvil rothe has been captured, after the collapse of the mines has been undone. He has overheard that its owner is considering to use it to organize prize-fights, for entertainment and wagering.

Shuffling on bare feet, a new Rothe Slave cleans the Drow camp. She brushes a simple broom and is silent. Her eyes are cast down most of the time. Never does she raise her voice, and politely begs to pass whenever she gets close to anyone while cleaning. She wears a simple slavetunic and a heavy collar around her neck.

They say her name is Zaleta, and strangely she is a Half-Drow, but looks almost human like, with pitch black hair. Rumour also goes that this very timid Rothe Slave is allready bought by none other than Quath.

Later, Zaleta is seen at Quath's side, and growing a name for offering exquisite massages, if her Yath'tallar demands it so.

After a long day, Zaleta shuffles back to the Rothe pen, to sleep there for five hours. Quietly she sings to herself, a sad song.

"Around me Rothe faces, worn out faces

rumor is Taleshia left the dablekith compound rather early riding one of her Death Orbbs fully dressed for battle, behind her was two other Death Orbs, on which was her Prized Rothe, who was currently robed and vailed, and supplies.

if the guards were asked later, they would say she said something about an idea how to get the army of armys and that she should be back within 30 cycles, and if not, she died in a glory battle agienst countless odds and good luck with the war.

*Some time later that cycle, the Illiahresse's Daughter Myr'Xae can be seen going through camp, carrying supplies to survive in the tunnels, including a sack of what smells to be freshly baked bread. Two orc rothen is seen behind her, one hauling a man-sized Ballista on his back, and the other hauling the giant bolts for it. The three head in the same direction on Taleshia.*

The body of a small Jaluk that some know as Ghost was reportedly found in the Orc Warrens where a patrol found him being kicked by an injured Orc.

Bhinas was seen heading to Orc Warrens, cursing the stupid guards who didn't cared to resurrect Ghost.

The gaurds see Bhinas come back and groan. "Why!? why did dos have too...." long sigh before they get back to dutie. "Seems the Ghost with be haunting udos... once more... where is ussta hip flask gone?... DAMN DOS GHOST! DAMN DOS!"

As forces are being gathered for the retaking of Szith-Morcane, bugbear, orcs, azers and the like, odd tremors in the caverns and tunnels seem to be occurring more often than they have in the past.

Could this in some way be related? Are these lesser beasts being driven from their homes by some magic?

A Zombie shuffles towards camp, nailed to it are the severed heads of a Patrol that was sent out. pinned to its chest was a single note.

"Wonder out into the Tunnels at dossta peril, Dossta time is nigh.

What the vith?! - said Bhinas after the rumors about zombie with the note reached his ears. He was seen heading into the tunnels to look for two rothen, Kiara and Hyga, who supposedly went to patrol somewhere.

Something.... is happening...

It started early this cycle... that low deep rumbling, the sudden unexplained and violent shakes of the very Underdark its self.

Scouts report.... a disturbance in the surounding areas, the beetles.. the most of them seemed to of moved away.

the dead pits, feel not as crowded as they once use to, the Azzars, all but gone, the Mushroom people... fled, abandoning their ancestial home.. did they know something you did not?

Again another quake its, sudden and violent, placing your hand to the floor, you can feel something... "Thud, thud, thud, thud,thud.." what in the name of Lolth was going on?


Also in other news, and rumors, House Dhrurniiv seems to of Recalled most of its forces from camp, and have locked down its complex, they do not respound to calls or even summons from the Ulath'taller herself if rumors are true!... if one where skilled in stealth enough and brave enough to sneak near the place... the sounds of a great battle could be heard inside... perhaps a House take Over?
