| After a long absence Valtore returns to the Library in Myth Drannor with a large collections of books he brought with him from Silverymoon. After a little freindly banter with the head librarian he heads to the shelves delving into the myths and legends of the area. He's intent on finding clues of lost artifacts and forgotten treasures. | |

| Nadin approaches Valtore
I see you are once again curious to discover secrets from ancient times my friend, well I'm doing researches in similar themes too, regarding artifacts, dragons, and I suppose we can work together if you don't mind.

I brought some records that me order collected tellin the tales of the deeds that were done durin the Fall if that be a use ta ye." Valtore says with his good natured grin. He shows him the books he brought with him and offers some warm tea as well.

Ahh Valtore, nice to see ye again.
*He notices Valtores books* Divulging into old lore about magical artifacts I see. Well let me know if ye need any help with yer research. Whats history for some is merely old memories for me. *winks to Valtore*

| While the three talk, a lazy voice can be heard from one of the sofas in the library corner. "Hey back there... some people try to study here." Further research would reveal Piak slouching on a sofa in the corner, reading a cheap swashbuckler novel, grinning at Valtore. "Welcome back, wisebeard. Anything I can be of help with?" | |

| Ah Valtore in fact I'm interested in artifacts at the ruins, remains of the weeping war. As you can presume we fully intend to reclaim all the ruins, and I want to know everything possible about what we can found to be rescued, and those things that can be dangerous too.
Aerul, Piak, always good to see you.

| Karovir who joined the crowd nods to Valtore: "Has been a while. Good you are still alive and about, Valtore." Then he looks over to Piak: "And you can be found here nowadays? That is good. Might need you for future missions." | |

| With a smile and a nod Valtore answers "Aye been on a little trip, this however may be of interest ta ye..." with that he unrolls an expensive looking map of Myth Drannor as it was during the Weeping War. There are marks all over the map of where battles took place with numbers and letters by them. Valtore then pulls out a book that lists what is know of the differant battles from eye witness accounts and rumors. "This was compiled by me Order from shortly after the Fall. I has much of whom fought where and when. It also has as best accounts as to who has traveled ta the region after the Fall ta uncover lost relics and what they found. Nothing here be all that rare ta find but it be all in one place. Now what we do with it be up ta ye. I be looking for the Dwarven Temple of Dugmaren ta reclaim the secrets we had there." | |

| * Aerul pulls out his most schoolary teaching voice*
As I have mentioned earlier me and the then head librarian of the Evereska library removed the most valuable book on elven lore and magic from the main Cormanthor library and stored them in the vaults of Evereska.
The have recently been returned but are in the hands of the high mage.
Unfortunately we did not have time to get the books in Windsong tower.

| Valtore looks over to the elder elf "Aye lad ye said that. However there be more then just elves whom lived in tha town. Not everythin of value was there. The other races whom called Myth Drannor home had valuable knowledge lost as well. It might be a good sign of friendship if ye returned it ta them as well." With a wink to the old elf he goes back to the map and points out numerous interesting locations to the others. | |

| * Looks a bit embarrassed *
Ye are correct Valtore but I'm afraid we only moved elven artifacts to Evereska I have no idea what happened with the other races valuable relics. We where short of time since it was hard for the elders in Myth drannor to accept that their fair city would fall and they stubbornly refused us to move the items until last chance.

| I suppose you two are mixing aspects, unless I'm wrong Aerul refered to books, and the value of books sometimes differs from diferent views, anyway I'm certain there is much to be retrieved from the ruins, including a sort of artifacts. Of course Valtore, if dwarven artifacts and sacred itens are found they will be rightfully returned to the proper dwarven hands, so I believe veemently. Still unfortunatelly we are not planning to visit the dwarven ruins in this moment, and if you can wait a bit more, be certain I will add to your solicitation and will gladly help you, and I'm certain others can help, but currently we have urgent orders from our grace, and your help is welcome too. Now this map can be much useful and it has a good resume and review of the war, I hope this can help you to trace our strategy sir Karovir, and give hints where the most ruined areas are, I'm certain sir Valtore can assist you with more knowledge if you don't mind. Now sires, if you allow me I will continue the read of this eldritch critters guide.
A polite grin Nadin seats in a chair and invite the others to join him in the table if they did not yet.

| * Aerul looks to the assembled group with a penetrating gaze *
Would you propose that there is anything more valuable then knowledge? Our history and the teachings of how the world works is the most valuable we have. If we have this almost any other items can be reproduced if the materials are at hand.
* He then relaxes *
But I can understand your viewpoint.

| With a nod to Valtore Karovir says: "A nice map you have there but let us talk about it further at a less public place. This here is about important military operations and a library is no place for that." | |

| Valtore nods clearly having no clue what plans nor what orders have been given. "Aye, aye of course ye know I be happy ta help in any way that I can." | |

| Laughs very politely and smiles softly
Now my friend you are saying things I said not. I agree with you that there is no treasure like knowledge, and without it all others are vain or even useless, but to choose wich knowledge is more important, diferent people will have other opinions. Maybe information about the most fertile and safe river parts is not one of our priorities, but to a fisher, his life depends on this, and this is what I meant.
He then nods to Valtore
I was certain I could count with you my friend, thanks. As you can presume it is one of our duties to reclaim the ruins and clear them of past invaders, so this is no secret to our allies, and I can presume neither to some of our enemies, that surely know we have no intention in let them stay indefinetely occupying the rightfull lands of the alliance of elves and the good races.

| He returns the bluntly manner with a sincere and polite grin.
Could not think in another place, but since you didn't mention first...
Closing the book he would stand immediatelly and motion to the others.
...let us go so before more gather.

| With a sigh Valtore once again begins to gather his books and roll up his map. Grumbling about how he should just buy a dang house in town instead of moving around to what ever place people feel the need to talk privately. When everyone is gathered he shoulders his pack and once more locks the study he was using and nods to the head librarian as he is lead out of the building. He unconsciencely whisles a silly little tune some might remember from a certain hin friend of his... | |

| When Corb see that they are preparing to exit the library he goes to the table that they are.
"Excuse, Arms-Captain Karovir, Spell-Captain Nadin. I don't want to bother you then I'll brief. You are Valtore, right? I know that you are in a important research, but i would like to ask you you one thing. I'm very interested in learn the Dwarf Tongue. Maybe when you have a free time, could you help me with some hints?"

| grins politely to Corb and Aerul
You two can join us, your knowledge gathered in these centuries can prove to be useful Aerul and I suppose you have good references in some of these combats right? As a tael Corb you are welcome to join as well, after all you will be in these searches and will deal with itens retrieved when a full Akh'Faern, so you can learn something from this. About sir Valtore lessons, well, this only him can answer. Still my main interest now is about the artifact places and the monsters we can find, strategies will be decided by sir Karovir, and I hope you both can understand sometimes this requires privacy.

| * Aerul cast a swift can-trip on the books he has gathered returning them all to their proper places in the library.
He goes outside and lights his pipe blowing elaborate smoke ships into the air. To no one in particular he talks loud to himself as he coughs *
Hmm nasty habit this, I wonder what the old wolf sees in this tobacco thing, perhaps I should try it more before I judge.....
* He then walks towards the barracks with the others *

| "I appreciate the invitation to join you. I think that I can learn many things about the dwarf culture while I'm near mister Valtore."
He keeps the books back on the shelf and walks to the library's exit going to the barracks with the others.
