- I will ask for permission to keep the egg here under our vigilance, as this is not my decision, but be certain I'll do what is my reach to honor the ancient allegiance of the elven race with many know good dragons. Leo you can stay here with me, or go with Jacia, for now I suppose our paths require diferent approaches, but I would like you remain with the egg if possible. Lady Jacia, even if I cannot spare Akh'Velahr, unless we have volunteers, I will aid you in this personally. Now excuse me as I have to write a report.

At the conclusion of part 1, the adventurers led by Jacia, Leo Lyon and Celovar are instructed that they will need to contact a man named La'Nir who resides in a tavern in Neverwinter. Shalathiux-atan ports them into the very tavern where they find the man. When they meet the man, they see he is near suicidal and regrets having previously stolen the golden egg and given it to Phaedrixneatac. He instructs the small group that Phaedrixneatac is holding his family and would rain fire upon them if he didn't comply. To make up for his betrayal, La'Nir enters the portal to Myth Drannor where he coems face to face with Shalathiux-atan where he apologizes. Shalathiux-atan doesn't necessarily forgive him yet however understands the choice he had to make and enlists his help. La'Nir himself is a famed dragon hunter in these lands and in order to find Phaedrixneatac, they'll need to first slay Tharanikian who is residing nearby and knows Phaedrixneatac's location. They were advised by La'Nir that Thadranikian was famed for his expertise on portals and could leave a battle immediately only to return fully recovered instantly. In order to combat this, he suggested they attack him with the cold to break his concentration. La'Nir also begs Jacia and the others to save his family who he believes could have been transferred to Thadranikian's location.

adventurers are then ported to the location where they encounter heavy resistance immediately from a dragon clan in support of Thadranikian. Killing many of the clan, drums begin to pound and more and more of the warriors exit a local cave. The adventurers realizing their dire situation quickly blow the cave apart causing a massive implosion blocking the rest of the clan. They then spot Thadranikian who has La'Nir's family near caged and guarded by his most prized clan warriors. Instead of attempting to barter with the dragon, the adventurers hurl insults and seem unphased by him. He orders the warriors to slay the family which they do to the horror of the group. They then attack him and are able to continually break his concentration. After several minutes of battle and without his power from his portals, Thadranikian is but a lesser red dragon and dies. Jacia and the others take several scales and find an odd instrument, hot to the touch and leave. When they meet La'Nir they inform him of his loss and before all the adventurers can clear the portal, he kills himself sealing the portal and leaving nearly a third of the group behind. Shalathiux-atan pays his respects to La'Nir and opens his own port, possessing near unequalled power. As the rest show up, Shalathiux-atan instructs Jacia to wrap the scales around the shell which creates a repelling force between the red scales and gold dragon shell that cracks the egg in a controlled way. Emerging from the large pieces, Tlanxinar who looks around and screeches!


Shalathiux-atan then informs Celovar that he will place Tlanxinar under the Ark'Velar's command as a Ward when he is ready to shift.

Eventually Jay would bump into the mighty creature again. This time, he finfd out that the dragon isn't there simply for talking with Myth Drannor locals - this time there's a dangerous task he wants them to accomplish. Jay stands there, feeling dazed and charmed at the same time, cannot get his eyes off the creature...


...in a matter of minutes, he finds himself travelling through a portal and facing the army of an evil red dragon with many others. Sadly, the prisoners are no spared and the whole group come back with a sorry heart. Everything's not lost though, for they still manage to recover something that would prove to be crucial, and the baby dragon finally emerges from its egg. Despite the injuries he sustained, Jay would stay there, staring at the two creatures, fascinated, until the group split up.

Iwean clearly distraught over his role in the death of the family. He will never forget the look in the child's eyes as the Dragon spotted him sneaking up. With the return to Faerun complete and the father killing himself over his loss, Iwean could handle the guilt no more. He pulls himself together enough to make it to the only place he knows, the Forest.
