I was too, but simple notifications is still a good idea I think. Even if you can't join sometimes you still have the option, so please keep up the "heads up".

Please be good to each other, have a great time, and show each other the respect and politness you yourself would like to recive.

| Now the staff is working to put together a team of DMs for the UD. This team will be led up by DM Shaco. If any players are interested, there is a link on the forums with the format for DM applications.

| I'll be taking over as Head UD DM and will continue this plot line. Before that however I'd like to get feedback from the UD players in the Skype chat. I'm not the type to sit on things so well all pull together to get moving. |

| Thank you all for the status update. To the new UD DM, a warm welcome is offered. I prefer providing input on the open forums when possible. Perhaps, a summary of the major points of the Skype chat may be posted here on the forums. As an UD player, I’ll provide a prioritized summary commentary as feedback here. 1. Server viability. (About the UD, Dalelands Beyond seems to have established a quality Lolthite NWN2 environment. The competition seems fierce for NWN2 players. Does the staff want an increased server population? Perhaps, staff may tell us or remind us what we can do to help.) 2. Main plotlines continuation. (In the UD, a Lolthite powered drive toward taking the city of Maerimydra. I wouldn’t suggest ignoring the multitude of subplots and other efforts that have occurred, but with the turnover of both players and DMs perhaps focus on the main plot: Maerimydra.) 3. Faction support. (As part of a faction’s leadership, I am patient on basic requests, and I believe 1 and 2 above probably need to take priority. In my faction, my sense is at least a number of UD players are frustrated at the support pace. It would be a great help to get our faction usergroup group membership updated on the forum as requested by PMs. If there’s something the factions can do to help, then let us know.) In any case, thank you to all the UD players, DMs, staff, and other contributors. It is time to move forward. | |

| I agree with Adventurer_Class on the above points, and firmly believe that the Dabel'kith faction is feeling very much the same way, with the added stress of, at least in my opinion, unneeded faction vs. faction stress.
I personally believe that all of the faction vs. faction issues need to be set aside until after the recovery of Szith-Morcane for the overall health and population of the server. And that getting Szith live on the server for the drow community (including all of the drow quests in that city) should be the main focus, with all other plots, personal, fractional etc, put on hold.
I also firmly believe that in order to show the drow role-play community that they are no longer going to be treated like the "red-headed-step-child" that all other server updates should be put on hold until after Szith-Morcane goes live.
Sorry to be blunt about that, and I know that there will be some surface only player who will take exception with that statement, and I would ask them to remember that for the past few years now that surface has received somewhere in the ballpark of five (or more) updates for every one update/expansion the underdark has received. Ypu have three cities, the drow do not even have one. The files for Szith-Morcane, connections, quests, NPC etc have been sitting in the Builder's section waiting for up load for over a month now, so you will not have to wait for very long.
After the small city goes live, and the players who have been frustrated for years about not having an equal starting place with quests, merchants, buildings etc, that is on par with the three surface cities, will see that the status quo has changed and then we can then continue the other plot lines and move towards the primary plot line of retaking Maerimydra.
Showing the NWN2 drow player community that many of their major issues have been addressed through this new starting city will go a long way in rebuilding a valuable community of role-players in my humble opinion.
Continued delays, whether they be from server stability issues beyond staff's control, DM's being asked to step down at truly inopportune times etc. are adding nails to the server's coffin. It is way beyond time to move forward, please, Lets do this event to retake Szith-Morcane A.S.A.P. then get the city and it's connections live so that the drow role-players will actually see something happen instead of once again be frustrated and disappointed.

| Undead Scouting Parties are being reported making their way towards the Drow Refugee Camp. Is their a base for their activity? Are they going to move on the camp soon? | |

| Bhinas is going to talk with the guards to ask them if they can tell about any specific direction those undead came from, as well as about anything unusual they might notice. | |

| The guards report that two undead creatures came out of the Beetle Tunnels. They were quickly slain but they do not know if there were more that escaped...

| "Vith, Hyga, dos little carnivore, why usstan never can find dos when dos are needed?!" - Bhinas said, entering Beetle Tunnels... He knew nothing about tracking, but since there aren't many options where to look in that direction, he decided to take that route, check the Meazel Marsh and then head deeper, into Quaggoth Tunnels, and maybe further, depending on the results. | |

| Iseng would follow Bhinas's trail. If she'd move unhindered by undead past the quaggoths, she'd make sure to alert the Dabel'kith compound nearby that the undead are now marching. She casts See invisibility and uses her keen bard ears [Listen mod=15] to try and prevent from being surprise attacked. | |

| Bhinas found a map on one undead he killed, it was showing the route from the Maze to the camp. He went to Quaggoth Tunnels, disposing of weak undead he kept meeting on the way. There, near abandoned tower, he was attacked by a crowd of different undead. All of them were killed, aside from one vampire, who became a mist and disapeared, laughing. On one of the corpses the report was found - though it was written in some strange code, Bhinas figured that it described all kinds of activities in drow refugee camp, there were notes regarding all qu'ellars, shebali and the yaths, at the end of each notation was an empty check box. And it seemed that the name of every inhabitant of the camp was mentioned. Getting very concerned about the amount of information which got known to the enemy, Bhinas went to Dabel'Kith compound, where he left a detailed report for Ilharess Feanora. | |
