Militia on the move

Several groups of miltiamen were dispatched from the main camp - some heading even to the northern outskirts of the town.

The groups then began preparing small fortifications under the supervision of their commanding officers.

The order came directly from Taeron and it seems they are preparing for some outside threat.

Remaining men bolstered the troops around the Twisted tower and the troops in central Shadowdale.

When asked, the troops would probably say they are on high alert - probably for a few days.

Ahri would go up to Taeron if she is allowed and would speak to him about teaching the men about using scrolls and wands, as she had mentioned earlier in the tenday.

The men seem on high alert.

Taeron orders the men to lock down the town in preparation for a large scale attack. Weapons are being distributed to the men, drills are canceled and the fortifications are bolstered. The men are ordered to lock down the town - informing the population that they are preparing for an attack and that it's advised not to travel anywhere.

Some of the men seem tired and worn out. Many (about 1/3) are moving sluggish.

Glamerie reads the report and seeks out Taeron personally and publicly

"Commander, you have my full support to do what ever you deem is needed at this time. I will trust your judgement' *she grimances in pain her hand on her stomack* "cordenate with Lady Kendra of course, I shall retire to my office"

*On one of the few rare times Ravossel goes into town, she spots all of the hustle and bushel of the Milita, and when or if Ravossel spots Tearon.*

Hey what's going on? *Moves to give Tearon a hung like normals with every time they run into each other* and how are you doing? *Ravossel has upper arm, and elbow across her belly, with her hand resting on the holy symbol of Lurue, that's over her left breast. The way she has her arm, and hand is as if some one is guarding a old wound that did not heal quite right, and consistently praying. This award position is only held when She's standing still for the time being.*

Jonah is about town, and he helps see to the guardsmen's well-being; bandaging wounds, cleaning old wounds, making sure that they are mostly warm, dry, and well-fed.  He talks to them about their troubles, what worries them, and relays messages back to family and friends, if asked.

He mostly avoids Taeron, but out of a respect for the sheer weight of his duties more than anything else.  He will pop in and ask him if there's anything he needs as well, though -- dry wrappings for feet, extra cloak, wounds checked, etc., but he avoids being bothersome.
