It is time to move forward

Later new Yath'rin who was, as she said, summoned by Ul'Ath'Taller, ordered Bhinas to gather a group to investigate the matter. Jarzyr, Za'nara Zau'afin, Eowung Ma'fer, Shynt'muss Dabel'kith, Dannyl, Yua-Pel and some other people ((sorry, i can't remember the names of the others, if you PM me, i'll edit the post)) joined. They went all the way to the entrance to Szith-Morcane, fighting different kinds of undead as they proceeded, and finally managed to kill the vampire scout who kept escaping from them before. Some scroll was found on one of the undead, a scroll for creating some kind of portal. It was decided to bring it to the yaths.
Next cycle the report about the matter was given to Ilharess Dabel'kith and to yath'rin who sent the investigation group, in presence of Taleshia Dabel'kith, who recently returned after long period of absence. They consulted with Fre'ri about the scroll, and it turned out that the scroll may be used to create a portal to location where it was created. As the possible use of the scroll in coming assault of Szith-Morcane was discussed, several death knights appeared out of nowhere right in the center of the camp and attacked them. Before the undead were killed, the shadow copy of one of them was created, and it gave some information - the undead were trying to get their "key" back, i.e. that scroll, which, supposedly, allows whoever would use it to bypass magical defences of Szith-Morcane. It wasn't the end of the story, though. Later, Iseng and Bhinas killed another undead who appeared right in the camp. Two letters were found, and shown first to Vic'aere Dabelkith and then to Ul'Ath'Taller.

The undead, a ghoul of a lesser type, carried these documents on it.

The first one seems up to date, and contains the mention of a shadow dragon:

*Iseng purchases six blanks scrolls and hurriedly scribes copies to yath'tallaren Vic'aere Dabel'kith and Ala Zau'Afin, and to Ilharess Feanora Dabel'kith, to enable them to study the contents more closely. The U'lath'taller refused to read the scroll, demanding a verbal report instead.*

After Iseng mentioned a shadow dragon in her report, Ul'Ath'Taller got very angry and demanded some sargtlin to bring her obsidian bowl, which she used for scrying, in attempt to see how the dracolich (which, as it got known, isn't a willing servant of Banshee) is controlled. As all who were present there combined their powers, the truth was revealed - they had a vision in which some shadowy female figure passed a phylactery into the hands of some powerful undead, possibly a death knight of high rank or some champion, who wore odd-looking royal rings. Ul'Ath'Taller demanded to find one who possess the phylactery and either get it or destroy it, at all costs. Later Shynt'Muss, Bhinas and Iseng were sitting at the campfire and discussing sad perspectives they have after getting such orders from Ul'Ath'Taller herself.

*Iseng argues in the ensuing conversation that obtaining both the letter to the Valsharess of Szith-Morcane, and the teleport scroll key, was suspiciously easy since these were carried more or less by the rank and file of the enemy, almost pushed into their hands. She wonders if they are somehow misled by these findings.*

Bhinas is inclined to agree, he finds it quite unlikely that the messenger could just occasionally get into the camp, especially with that kind of letters.
