a elf before the entrance of the halls

Auryne can be seen at the entrance of the Ironhouse halls as she crosses the bridge over the chasm, carrying serveral bags.

Before the guards can make any form of bow or formal aknowledgements she would interupt them.

"No more need for that, i am no longer Keeper of Myth Drannor. Please inform Targlan that i request Asylum in the Ironhouse halls."

She would put her bags down and wait patiently for a reply from the leaders of the Clan.

Grendel is going about his usual business, overseeing the lads in the Forge, as a guard storms in:"Forgemaster, we have an elf at the gates, she insists she isn t the Keeper o Myth Drannor and seeks asylum in our Halls!"


Grendel: "Oh? Now thats interesting, perhaps she listened to us....well I shall greet her in person! You" to the nearest Dwarf "carry on with this and take care the metal doesnt cool off too quickly....do as I showed you."

With this, Grendel leaves the Forge, hurrying towards the gate, cursing himself that he is looks and smells, well like a hard working Dwarf looks and smells like.

Once at the gate, he greets Auryne with a big, happy and welcoming smile:"well ello there Auryne....good to see you again, I hear you have listened to our advice ??
As Elder o Clan Ironhouse I hereby grant you Asylum in the Ironhouse Halls till the day you see fit that you are ready to return to Myth Drannor!!"
"In the meantime, Guards" Grendel shouts at the next guard "prepare the guest room, no not the big one for the masses, the special one . . ." The Guard looks puzzled, as he wants to raise his voice Grendel interrupts him "and no not the caged one....I meant the room for our honoury guests, the one by the gate, opposite to the big guestroom, the one we haven t used yet." The guards face lightens up as he understands and immediatley rushes of to do as ordered.

As Grendel escorts her into the Halls, her luggage carried by other Dwarves he grins "I believe you ain't here for a vacation, but I hope you have your swimming clothes with you, you are gonna love our pool. Anyway first settle in, make yourself at home and then we shall talk, just ask the guards when you are ready, usually they know where to find me or Targlan."

Auryne would smile slightly as Grendel comes to welcome her.
As he leads her to her guest room she would reply:

"I´ve noticed that what ever plagues me is less strong here in your halls. It must be this magic dead area of course. While i am not sure i will find the solution here, i do think i will find the necesserary peace to think about my next steps, if i can stand the constant ache your magic dead area puts in my head"

seeing the pool she would only add grinning

"Bathing clothes? you are aware i never wear clothing when swimming do you?"

She would put the bags with some of her belongings in the room

"Thank you for the hospitality Grendel, i appreciate your offer and i hope i dont have to stay too long, as much as i enjoy Dwarven ale"

After Auryne settled into her guest room she wasnt seen for serveral days. Keeping mostly to her room and not receiving any visitors, locking herself inside. Those that would meet her briefly would see only a shadow of her former self. She is even paler than normal, her eyes sunken and she is constantly seen rubbing her temples. She doenst seem to eat much as she is already thinner than before.

She only leaves her room to go to the tavern to buy a lot of drinks, wich she takes back to her room to drink alone.

Nadin stop at Ironhouse gate and ask to meet Auryne

- Karovir told me lady Auryne is here, I really would like to talk with her, besides I have two special deliveries to her as well. *He says pointing a large box and a minor one*

If the guard does not recognize him, he adds

- By the way, I'm Nadin Moonbolt, officer of the Akh'Velahr, and served Myth Drannor under her command a good time already.

* The guards would need no introduction to invite Nadin inside as a defender of Myth Drannor*

Celovar stops by for only a moment not aware of her situation. He merly drops off a bottle of wine and tells him to not tell her whom it is from. A note in elven reads the following.

"Hope things are going well, if you need anything just ask. Good looking Nilaa"

Nadin knocks at Auryne door

- Lady, it's me, Nadin, I brought a gift to you, from Karovir, in fact twelve gifts in a box... and some food, his only condition was clear, you must eat, and you know I'm good to follow orders, heh.

If allowed to enter he will talk with Auryne (hope in game) if not, he would add the twelve bottles have to return to Myth Drannor unfortunatelly, with a polite laugh

Auryne, returning from Myth Drannor with a bag full of scrolls would find Nadin befor her room in the halls.

"Oh Nadin, or should i call you Keeper Moonbolt now?" she manages a weak smile

seeing the box "i hope you brought some wine?"

After she once again drunk herself to unconciousness, being unable to enter reverie in the magic dead area, Auryne lies sprawled on the floor amid a lot of empty wine bottles, some empty tankards and a chaotic collection of scrolls with diagrams and notes on them.
She is shook violently awake by a tremor wich rocks the halls. She opens her deeply sunken eyes and immediatly squints in pain again as she becomes painfully aware of the pressure in her head that is the constant magic dead area, adding to that, her hangover makes the pain even worse.

She stumbles to her feet and looks around, becoming aware of many dwarven shouts outside her room and deeper in the halls. She hurries outside, seeing dwarven fighter rushing toward the entrance. As her head clears slowly she realizes the halls are under attack.

Cursing Erevan for once again playing such cruel tricks on her she hurries back to her room and grabs some potions, scrolls and her Quarterstaff. As she runs to the entrance of the halls, another massive tremor hits the halls and she is thrown to her knees. As she scrambles back to her feet and toward the great doors she sees the host of dwarven defenders drag serveral dead bodies inside over the bridge.

As she reaches the great double doors she sees the tunnels beyond are blocked by a cavein of the mines. She stops in her tracks realizing she is trapped underground inside a magic dead area with no way out...
