Missing priestess

When the Royal Oak was destroyed Mara was inside doing some inventory down stairs. She heard a commotion and then things went black.

Cruven passes by Rimwood after hearing of the destruction and takes a look at the remains of the Oak before walking into the ruins to search for bodies.

"Oi! Mara, Hanz, Franz, Vinny you alive!?"

The massive man starts throwing debris around as he digs through the rubble in attempt to find any possible remains of the four.

Darkness...then light. The Red Knight stands there greeting her priestess.

My Lady, I'm a bit confused...will I stay..will I go back?

She stands there in her battle gear.

*As Cruven is digging in the rubble, a HUGE orc blood dressed all in shining red and silver joins him. He says nothing and just starts tossing large chunks to and fro. His normal friendly demeanor is replaced with steadfast determination that nears rage. Any who get too close are in danger of being hit with chunks of stone, wood, or earth as he tirelessly digs in search of...something or someone. Those that actually know him would be surprised that he is paying no attention whatsoever to the state of his armor and solemnly digs for the deeper areas.*

As Cruven digs he comes across a piece of red fabric as he pulls it out from under a fallen beam he bellows out a roar:

MARA DAMNIT IM THE ONE THAT GETS TO KILL YOU!!

To those that see him, they would notice actual smoke coming out of Cruven's mouth, a clear sign he's become extremely mad. As he clears the debris it's quite clear adrenaline has set in as he lifts massive beams and various debris no normal person should be able to lift.

If they are still there when Karovir was visiting the Oak Inn before he muttered his short prayer he would look at the people who dig in the remains of the building:

"Hey you! Are you trying to rescue anything or just digging for something of value to plunder the place?"

*The large orc-blood ignores just about everyone. He is completely intent on reaching a lower level in his search. His usually pristine armor is becoming covered in soot, dirt, and goo from the rubble. The symbol of a red knight chess piece is quickly becoming unrecognizable under the layers of filth. Those closest can hear muffled mutterings of pig tails, friendship, and duty.*

Radda having visited the Oak just to flirt with Hanz and Franz on occasion is seen working the ruins with divination spells and magical protections for those digging.

Cruven glances back only momentarily at Karovir before going back and attempting to dig his way to Mara.

"I already got the bouncers out, but I think Mara's still in here, so either get yer arse in here an help or do somethin about those three!"

"So you are in fact doing something useful. I hope that orc there does the same."

He gives the half orc a suspicious look watching him carefully. Then he looks back to Cruven:

"My 'arse' doesn't take orders from a mercenary. I could however try to return them."

He walks over to the remains of the bouncers and concentrates for a while channeling the divine power he carries with him naturally and prepares an obviously difficult spell which anyone who knows anything about this kind of magic would identify as a resurrection spell.

*The red-clad half orc barely glances at Karovir before looking at Cruven*

We will find her. If I have to dig to the lowest planes of the hells...she will be found.

*He goes back to moving the heaviest of the pieces searching for the easiest way to the lower level where he has lived these past several months. Calmly, though through gritted teeth holding back emotion, he says softly:*

Some people are far too self-righteous to see past the surface visage...race, occupation, whatever...and accept what is truth in a man's soul. Mara will be found this day. My oath to the Lady.

*His hands bleed from the jagged rocks and beams, but heal quickly due some magic force at work on him. If a chunk of debris is too large for even his might to move, he simply bashes it into smaller pieces to move. Always careful to not drive the pieces deeper for fear of further harm to his old friend.*

Upon hearing of the destruction, Adela would come as quickly as she could. She would help Cruven and the orc blood to dig, praying to Selune for strength.

A tall human with a seriously awesome hat joins the Moonmistress in her search. He uses his magic to aid the searchers. His bunny Bernard swiftly moving deeper into the ruins through the small cracks.

Waiting for response from Sonja before i continue on here guys, have a litte bit of patience

Mara sits by her goddess....confused.not knowing if she will return or stay by her goddesses side..

Celovar being one of the heavy lifters moves around debris attempting to see if anyone is alive other then Vinney.

While Karovir resurects the bouncers , Cruven, the orc and Adela keep digging on for hours. Another nightfall covers Rimwood in silvery moonlight and it becomes even harder to see something in the rubbish but they manage it to drag more people out of the ruins..like Sandra the cook and some unknown elfs..all dead and as it seems the elfs beyond resurection. But Mara is still missing. The pile of rubble slowly grows as the helper suddenly hear the cracking of wood above their heads..it sounds as if the remaining parts of the roof are just about to collpase onto them..

Junstal quickly uses a bigby's spell to brace the beams as others either move out of the way or decide what to do...

Adela would look up at the beam with a sigh of frustration. She would then look to Junstal and Cruven. "It might be faster to move through the wreckage ethereally, at least then we'd know where she is and could dig straight for it, with no worry of wreckage collapsing on us."

"A studious observation Moonmistress. I can send you Ethereal if you so desire. I will stay here and use magic to try to prevent more collapse as you search.

And you good Sire, do you wish the spell as well?"

Without waiting for a response, she waves her hand. "No, it would do better to attempt to further the collapse in a controlled way, out from where we are digging rather than on if possible. I can summon a wild to smell for bodies and to dig, Cruven should stay and help dig as well, and once the walls are down you can continue to dig with your spells as well rather than using them to delay the inevitable.. Unless either of you has a better plan, that is."

Cruven looks to the two and says rather bluntly.

"If your magics can help us reach her an get her out, then do it."

Junstal nod to their words and using spells of bigby he pushes debris further away from the digging. He also has his bunny help the Moonmistress dig around.

As Junstal begins working to clear away debris, Adela would cast an extended summoning spell to call a dire wolf. She would instruct the wolf to sniff for human bodies and begin digging. She would then cast Ethearalness and slip below into the wreckage, beginning her search at the bottom and working her way up.

The wolf would hit on the smell of a corpse. But its just a feint smell.
