Young girl in Lathander Farms

Vanessa can be seen training with a sword, clumsily trying to use it like a warrior but failing. She can be heard cursing, well cursing for her, about not doing it right. The guards would watch her and shake their heads and chuckle as they patrol knowing she is no threat to anyone. Anyone that happens upon her would chuckle at how she holds the sword and swings it. If she notices anyone she would blush terribly red.

She pushes some loose strands of hair out of her face. "Greetings. Try to hit you? But I don't even know you! And you seem like a rather nice person! Is this what warriors do?"

Celovar upon hearing the news would walk over to the Lathander farms to meet with the girl.

"I am Nykerym Celovar of the Akh'Velar. My superior and myself have taken some time to train some of the refugees here and offer them basic lessons and allow them to spar among-st each other. You should come to some of the sessions. We gather in one of the areas of Dranor."

She tries to copy the stance and swings the blade and completely misses and ends up falling on her backside.
"Oh bother, I'm not very good at this."
She looks to Celovar and smiles a bit
"Thank you. I'm not sure how much it will help. "

Exiting the Church of Dawn, Garren spots the Young woman trying to hit the other. He walks overs scowling

" What is going on here? No violence please!!"

She looks to Garren

"Oh hello, oh there is no violence. She is trying to teach me how to use this hunk of metal correctly. I'm not doing a very good job though." She rubs her backside a bit.

She takes the staff and tries again this time she barely connects.

"Oh I did it!"

She continues to train and spar til she collapses in a heap of sweat and heavy breathing.

"Oh my, I don't think I have worked that hard in ages. My body feels as if its been through a wringer."

He Nods Standing back, watching

"I see, Well my dear I wish you the very best in your training."

With that he enters the Orphanage

Vincent making his way home from the Lathander Farms notices the young girl swinging around. Slowly he approaches and crosses his arms watching in amusement, nodding once to Celovar as he speaks to her and watching Garren depart to the Orphanage. As the girl collapses with her heavy breathing he lets out a small chuckle, grinning as he speaks up to her.

"To become a true warrior, you have to eat properly and drink plenty of water."

With that he takes out a canteen of water from his belt, approaching the girl with it.

"Here drink up, you're going to need it if you're serious about this training."

*Julia passing hurried toward the Shrine look to the scene and just says*

- Move your feet, your feet.

She takes the canteen.
"Thank you Sir. I try to eat well when I can. Sometimes its what I can afford. My feet?"

She looks to her feet with her worn out boots.

She would smile and thank the woman.
"I appreciate the lesson. Not sure how well I did but its a start. I should go clean up now and try to get something to eat. Looks like its stew again. Its the cheapest thing they have, but its quite good. "

She looks to Vincent and Celovar.
"Thank you for the water Sir and thank you Sir for the offer of the lessons with the other refugees. Its much appreciated. I will probably continue training on my own. I'm not very comfortable with larger crowds."

She would collect herself and politely bow to those that are there and make her way to the Inn.
Walking off rubbing her backside shaking her head mumbling about being just a dumb girl.

Celovar would not to Vincent before glancing at the other girl once again.

"Just Celovar, and as you wish."

He turns and walks on going about his patrol.

Vanessa comes out of the Inn looking much more fresh and cleaner. In a dress now instead of ill fitting armor looking much more comfortable. She sits by the fire pit smiling to those sitting around.

(Thank you to all that participated in this and hopefully it will keep going both here and in game. Im hoping to develop her further as a warrior but with being low level she is just learning).

*Trip is seated by the fire and smiles as Vanessa exits the inn. He is puffing on a pipe between his teeth, and the smoke wafting from it is VERY herbal smelling.*

A fine day to ya, Miss Vanessa. You're looking lovely today. I should be around town until evening then I planned to check into some goblins hold up in a cave in the East forest. Perhaps you'd be interested to accompany me for a bit of practical sword play then, hmm?

*he smiles softly and offers to share some wine he picked up at the Rimwood elf camp.*

He would approach the Camp fire, acknowledging all there, his armor covered in splatters of blood, as is his face, one side slightly burned, is wrapped in bandages, he hears the mention of goblins.

"Goblins, heh! nasty little monsters had their Shamans attack with fire and acid. thankfully I was able to end them, even if i is short lived. I know they will regroup and take the caves back."

She would smile to Trip.
"Oh thank you Trip. I would enjoy helping you this eve. Oh wine sounds lovely."

Her smile would fade a bit to a frown.
"Your armor looks terrible Sir Garren. You should have it cleaned quickly before it rusts.
Its good to see you again."
She would smile again.
