A bloody mess!

In predawn hours, as the moon set and the sun barely colored the sky, a woman limped into Shadowdale from the East.  She walked in a daze, pale and bedraggled.  Seeing the state of her, those that asked would get a defiant glare, albeit a weak one.  The woman insisted she was fine, merely needing to get to the temple and rest.  One man offered her a cloak as her own clothes were little more than shredded, bloodied rags.  

Finding the streets empty and most of those that were on it, content to mind their own way, she waved off the well intended, asking to speak to a priest, but refusing any help.  Though bruised, she'd show her face when asked to.  Some may recognize the woman who called herself Sarah Riley.  She appears seeming far worse off than the simple cough she had just over a tenday before.

The stubborn woman makes it only as far as the front of the temple before she collapses, utterly spent.

*High Harvestmistress is warned when she was getting ready to sleep about the girl lying in front on the Temple's door, she sends two Clerics to take care of her, cure and bandage her wounds. After that, she is taken to a room at the inn to rest there for a couple of days.*

Once conscious, the woman seems terrified. She hardly let's anyone touch her. Even after the worst of the wounds are healed, she's not in the best of shape. Her troubles seem mostly mental, aside from new scars, including a brand of Bane's symbol. Still, she stubbornly insists on walking.

Once in the room at the inn... she can be heard constantly locking and unlocking the door... quietly opening it and closing it... as though she marvels that she -can- control her own door. She hums a rather depressing dirge almost constantly and barely sleeps.

Laying in a room across the hall and trying desperately to sleep... Roman would soon get fed up with the noises coming from this person...

He swings his door abruptly into the hallway and shouts...

"KEEP IT DOWN over there!! *grumbles pissed* ye sound like the bloody undead with all that racket!"

He'd scowl across the hall, then double take and raise a brow upon noticing who it is. He'd approach to be sure his eyes weren't playing tricks, but not get terribly close...

"Well well... *evil grin* looks who's flown their gilded cage!"

The door gets promptly slammed in his face... And locked. It doesn't open again anytime soon.

Laughs coldly

"Now is that any way to treat a neighbor?..." more sinister laughing, then it subsides... "But really, keep it down please... some of us WORK for a living."

He saunters back to his room in his black pajama's with angry red unicorns embroidered into them to rest the night thru provided there are no more rude interruptions.
