Any person passing through the library would notice an quite a number of books off the shelf, opened and spread about one of the desks. A stack of notes left beside the books along with a little glass of water and a bit of cheese. Whoever was working there has not returned to re-file the books.

If anyone inspects closer most the books are on crystals, the most prominent one sitting open next to the notes is on diffusion.

Mark comes to visit Silphie and frowns "This better not be the way they are going to liberate Aerandir..." then walks off to find her looking around the Crossroads

Anna makes a note of titles and pages opened at which she includes with the present stack of notes. She also includes a cover page labeled "Study on Crystals" with the days date. If she can determine from the handwriting who might have written them she also includes the authors name before moving the bundle to a shelf next to other orphaned notes that have been abandoned in the past. She then tidies up the books, placing markers at the open pages and stacks them to one side of the desk making room for others to use it. The glass and remaining cheese are taken out to the kitchen.

If the books remain undisturbed for another full day she shelves them.
