A man camping outside of Castle Krag.

A rather handsome looking man can be seen setting up a small camp outside of Castle Krag. He spends most of his time keeping his tent and fire safe from Goblins, visiting inside the Castle to speak with a very gorgeous blonde woman and spending time with his dog near the small camp. He tends to keep his distance from the Zhentarim though if approached he is more then willing to comply and speak with them.

Jack would eventually make his way out.

"Name, and occupation?"

As Jack makes his way out, Cale would be cooking some rabbit slowly over the fire looking up to him with a small nod and neutral expression.

"Cale, and as for occupation... Nothing truthfully comes to mind to answer that question, my apologies."

"Cale. I wish to inquire as to what you're doing out here?"

He pulls the rabbit off the fire and smirks, giving a small portion to his dog which eats it happily before replying to Jack.

"A woman named Dalia is staying within the Castle for the time being, doing some research. I'm her fiance, and since I'm unable to stay within the castle, I've set up camp here to help her when I can."

Cale begins to prepare his meal continuing to speak with Jack.

"If it is an issue being out here I can of course move to a location more comforting.. Though I just desire to be nearby to aid her whenever I can."

"That is...acceptable. Do not make trouble. Do not interrupt our work. And moreso; you may be in this spot, and none other except coming to and from it."

Silphie would come padding past one evening; her big wolfhound Steevie running up to the other dog and sniffing, trying to assert himself.

"Oh .. Hi Cale.  Dangerous place to be camping, hm?" she spoke while watching her dog, her hand resting over a toy ball in her pocket

To Jacks words he'd just give a single nod, starting to eat his meal. After a moment of eating he'd look up to Jack and finally offer some food.

"Want some..?"

As Silphie would come walking up with her wolfhound, Cale's dog would start growling. Lifting his head from his reading he looks over to Shadow, giving a small growl in return and snapping his fingers. The dog then looks to Cale, lowering its head obediently and falling silent. Then looks up to Silphie with a single nod.

"Silphie."

Then a smirk forms to her final words.

"I thought you knew..Danger was my middle name.. But joking aside.. This cold and snow is more bothersome then those Goblins."

Stevie would stand within a few feet of the other dog, his pointed ears perked straight up, barking really quietly at the other dog. 'Ruf'

"Well be careful out here, the exposure to the cold can really hurt your dog. Stevie got ice frozen in his paws out here once - it's not very nice for them." She paused, giving him a funny look

"why are you up here anyways?"

Cale starts to scratch Shadow behind the ear with a grin.

"Trust me this dog has been through worse.. As for me being up here, Dalia is staying up here for the time being, and one as myself really isn't welcomed in staying inside the Castle so...This must do."

He shrugs slightly.

Gripped the ball in her pocket, letting out a sharp whistle to Stevie and sliding it out of her pocket just enough to let him see it.

Stevie would turn from Shadow quickly, returning to Silphie and proceeding to try to put his nose in her pocket to retrieve the toy.

"You can't have it unless you behave." She'd shake her head at the big dog, smiling. "Well if you need anything, Cale, just say so. I'm sure Dalia won't be staying too much longer; Then you can go home."

Cale grins with amusement watching her dog, continuing to scratch and pet his dog as he speaks.

"To be honest, the company is rather welcoming despite our...Differences. When Dalia is studying or busy within the Castle there is not much for me to do out here but fend off goblins, tend to Shadow or just watch this... Wonderful snow fall upon camp.."

His last words were filled with sarcasm as he sighs.

"I'll stay here as long as I must." He smiles warmly "Though, you could be of help possibly.." He looks over Silphie curiously for a moment.

She'd grin, pulling out the ball and throwing it down the road as far as she can; sending Stevie scrambling after.

"The snow gets old fast, though I find it's better than the constant rain and thunder in Shadowdale"

Spoke without turning from watching Stevie bolt after the ball, she couldn't throw too far so it wasn't long before the big hound was back with it.

"I suppose I have a little more time... What is it you need help with?"

"Good..Take a seat for a moment."

He motions to a nearby make-shift seat.

On his travels through Cormanthor and the surrounding lands Karovir would walk around near Castle Krag one day avoiding too much attention of the Zhentarim patrols. If he sees Cale from a distance he would watch for a while, always keeping a distance from the Castle. After a while he would continue his way through the cold mountain.
