The Akh´Velahr soldiers of the Coronals army start raising scores of tents all around the City of Myth Drannor.

They are working through the night to make sure all tents are ready by the next day. Firewood and more than enough blankets and pelts are provided as well.

At the same time a large contigent of Akh´Velahr Soldiers joins the Dawnknights and works with them to secure the Farms defenses, making sure the borders of the area are secure.

As the dawn breaks many families start moving from their homes to the tents in the City. The eldest and infirm or women with child are either quartered in the travelling star (wich is soon totally booked out and overcrowded) or in the few empty houses that were recently finished.

Serveral moon and copper elven families with room to spare even invite their human neighours into their homes.

The Clerics of the Dawnspire work tirelessly to bless the defenders with Lathanders protection.
Mornmaster Berun goes from house to house to make sure that no one is left behind and after that he joins the other Clerics in their tireless work. The Mornmaster however has made it clear he will not leave the Dawnspire and will remain in the temple.

Cleo has a special plan for those poor civilians who had previously been kidnapped and imprisoned, and were returned after the recent mission through the portal.

Those unfortunate few who've suffered so much already are escorted through Myth Drannor and to the island that houses Lord Blue's beautiful Cathlemet Estate, where the Lord has so graciously allowed some refugees to stay.

On the way, Cleo explains the rules.. no hunting or planting. Stay away from the portals. Stay away from the crypt. No coming and going, for security reasons. Leave the guards to their work. Act in all ways as a guest.

Cleo sends for Imesah to keep watch over these refugees, but stays with them until she arrives.

Imesah makes her way there as soon as she hears about this. She watches over the refugees as best she can and sees to it that all of their needs are met and that they don't get into any trouble.

blue would stand by and allow groups to form and take them to his lands all portals are now deactivated but still heavily warded and protected by mages higher than he in his family..

his guards are instructed to not interfere but always protect those there as if they were family and if asked answer what they can or direct them to him or cleo for answers..

they are instructed further that off duty at their leisure they may take groups to and from as it is truly needed at most he himself would be doing two trips a day to tend to business that he has all over..

he tells the refugees that come they are allowed to fish if they want but as cleo said no hunting or farming..

he insisted those guards that are with them be allowed the same rights as his own for the most part..

they may bathe and wash in the lake as it is fresh water and for the most personal aspects as needed he would open his house for.. they will of course be escorted as security is high and many places cant be reached with out a member of the house or guard.. the lights are magical so they need no fueling and are on constantly and that they will return home once things are settled..

they will receive supplies from him once a day or as needed If they fall short basic needs will be met as best as they can they only need tend to their own needs as his are few and mostly taken care of..

books may be barrowed but never leave his lands and these are limited to normal everyday books non magical and non revealing of powerful informations and so on as he has pulled all those and locked them away.. mostly story books of many races and types books of learning..

he offers boxes of hand made toys for the kids (if any) which they will be able to keep and take home.. wood is provided from his own stock pile blankets are also provided.. many odds and ends are provided and a few tents are set the rest will be set over a few hours and so on..

he addresses them after words..

"My good people,

I know you have been through much in your time both before and after you came here some of you may know me others you may not.. I am here to help you as best I can and welcome you to my lands.. I ask you only follow the rules that have been told to you and any conflicts you may have if any be brought to me directly while you are here I will tend to them as my time permits..

I know many of you are hard working folks and will get antsy at the lack of.. feel free to tend to you own and your fellow people around you.. you may fish all you want and I know the kids will be kids so I hold no ill will for picking flowers and fruits and so on.. for now my land is your home I wish you to feel like such and maintain it as best you can.. I recommend you use this time to bolster your family ties and friend ships spend time with loved ones and teach as you can.. Enjoy your relaxing time you are amongst friends here regardless if you know it or not..

I am sure you been told what I allowed so the basic question has been answered.. please select from amongst your selves a temporary leader to which you can turn to and they to me if things are needed problems arise and so forth..

My land is yours for the time being so please feel free to fish all you want swim craft read play enjoy.."

He would then address his children before sending them to the coronal (if she allowed if not this would change)

"for now my children I expect you to be on your best behavior after they get settled in I will send for you to return a night or two at the most. when you return I expect you to be polite and cause no trouble.. If they ask you to leave them alone please do so.. I know you rarely see other folk outside my most trusted group of friends I understand you have questions.. You may ask them if they are willing to answer but please understand they are not required to answer any.. I expect you to be on your best behavior and no pranks or the likes you may play but know where I may be lenient they may not.. so listen carefully to what they tell you and always be polite.."

he would stand next to them and hug them and send them off with their nanny.. and one family guard who is order to always stay near but not to interfere with the coronals own guard they are to take orders from them until they return.. he sends them with toys they made and he made and clothes enough for two days max and gives them a little gold for their own use.. (100 each child 500 for the nanny).. he sends them off with their escort..

Celovar would escort the woman and the children at the lead. He helps to set up tents and start fires for the reluctant guests. He can be seen bringing food out to the woman and children as well, after filling a large order with his own coin. He also sets up a tent for himself, a small blond haired human girl accompany's him and he stays near the other woman and children.

The Keeper personally oversees the defenses, the retreat, and makes constant contact with officers avaiable concerning the troops there - he would remain avaiable in the farms during all the process.

Brother Orren will go among the refugees providing moral support and comfort. He will also take an inventory of the fields lost from the evacuation and determine the increased need for the fields in his charge. Any farmers he will offer them work in the Churches fields and any others that may need help he will try to match them up. He will also inventory the supplies he has and determine what will be needed for all the fields. He will ask among his congregation for volunteers to assist in the medical tent and where needed.

Sighing, he wanders from captain to captain, giving them instructions. Being that he is in the Settlement at this moment,  Garren would order those Squires that were standing near him, to make sure al the citizens in the Settlement were evacuated.  He, himself would go door to door, asking politely for any stragglers to please vacate their homes and make route to the Refugee Camp in Myth Drannor. When he is satisfied, well, when he is completely sure that there are no more civilians remaining within the Settlement, He would order all remaining Knight, Squires, Monks  & Members of the Clergy to continue their patrols.

When, reaching the Farms, Garren would remove his helm sighing, exhaling deeply.  Looking inside the Dawnspire to see if all was well, if so, he would nod to the Knights of Aster standing watch, simply saying

"Mornings grace upon you, Have you made sure to speak with the Mornmaster or Dawnlord about the Blessings of the Morning Lord, If not I strongly Suggest that you do"

Now, flustered, he orders those of the Clergy, politely, to cast their blessings upon those leaving the Settlement and Farms. Turning to the Squires and Knights, he gives them their Orders to make sure that no Civilian re-enters the Settlement or Farms, until Dawnlord Cleophus or Mornmaster Berun, say that they are allowed. Turning he, calls to any Dawn-Knight to resume their patrols.

*One of Garren squires, Amasur Reynolds, who was out training, returns to the farms and do exactly as instructed by the Dawnmarshall, and finally when finish he would report back to the Dawnmarshall Garren.*

- So we all shall stay Dawnmarshall sir? May the glory of the Morninglord bless us all sir, as always the sun will rise again. *the templar squire resumes to his duties*
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*noticing the knights remain in their positions the Keeper stay with his troops and adress the Dawnmarshall *

- Dawnmarshall I thought the plan included the evacuation of your men, but as I see now all trained in combat will remain. With the civillians gone I strongly recommend we set a perimeter of defense, preferentially around the church.

Valtore also gives up his room at the inn. He takes his place as a Mathor to where ever he is needed. As a guard at the farms or helping move people to the temporary camp. When not on duty he tells stories of far off lands and tales of heroic deeds to the children to keep them occupied and to easy the fear of changes. He also offers help to help at the forges sharpening blades and mending armor as well.

Turning to the Squire he gives him a quick instruction

"Squire Reynolds, I would like it if you and a few knights, clergy and Sun soul would make a complete sweep of the Settlement and Farms. It should take no longer than one hour. Return to me here, outside the Dawnspire once this task is completed. May the Dawn greet you."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Turing to the Keeper

"My Friend, Yes. It is quite true and wise to set up defenses, and that will be done in a hour or so. But those of the Aster, the Clergy and the Sun Soul, have been given their orders to run a complete sweep of the Settlement and Farms, Once my Captains return with their reports, I will issue  to them, that the Defenses are to be raised.  Please do not fret, Keeper I trust those under my command. As I am commanded by the Morning Lord himself, as protector of these lands."

He would wait for his Squire, Amasur Reynolds, to return with a brief yet detailed report of the Surrounding area.

the refugees slowly settle down.. many of them are quite scared of the threat to their homes wich are only a few hundred feet away.

Some women would complain to the Cleric of the Dawnspire who attends their spiritual welfare and comforts them, that they didnt have enough time to pack everything they need and that they want to go back to their homes to fetch some things "their stupid" husbands forgot to pack.

Thanks to the bountiful last harvest bought in from the Lathander farms the whole city has more than enough food to feed everyone for a long time.

Looking to him, he laughs, slightly

"Actually. . I may have an alternative. Perhaps if the people now staying within the City, were to write upon parchment, some basic necessities. Perhaps myself and a few other could gather said items into a wagon and cart it to the Camp. But I would seek Dawnlord Cleophus or Mornmaster Berun's permission firstly, though."

He wanders off looking for either the Mornmaster or Dawnlord, on this idea. Meeting Squire Reynolds, he would salute him, with a simple nod, grinning even in these woeful times.

"Squire, walk with me. I hope your report in brief and yet detailed. How fared your Sweep of the Farms and Settlement?"

blue would give imesah an orb and and key allowing her to take people back and forth as needed a few of his off duty guards would both deliver supplies daily and offer to make a run to the city for those wanting to go..

blue would order a guard to stand watch outside his lands at the entry to and not move anywhere else and rotate them in shifts.

he can then be seen talking to imesah and a few of those civilians there.. he can also be seen carrying small sacks of materials back to his home for storage. all seems well for now with them.

they seem content to just fish and tend to each others needs as supplies come in daily their basic needs are met and so are most their other needs..

they have noticed it doesn't rain there like it does else where but still the rain they get is a welcomed sight..

the guards often look in on them as they pass on their patrols.. blue him self looks in on them and does two runs a day to the city and gathers supplies.. he checks in with the lathanderites as well seeing how things are going and lets cleo and the few others he knows to come check on those in his lands should they want.

Cleo sits for awhile among the older children and younger adults, scarcely distinguishable in his casual clothes from these displaced civilians. Only the urgency of his conversations and the station of his occasional visitors might give the young priest away, as he tries his best to efficiently and compassionately handle every question, every request.

To Garren, he reiterates the order:

"The main threat here is the kidnapping, but we can't abandon our defense of the Farms. If our enemies choose a military attack, they must find us at full strength. As long as we make certain everyone is warded, our military folk should be safe from abduction. It's yours to decide whether your squires are ready for combat. Just make sure everyone who enters the Settlement and Farms is warded against mind effects."

Cleo reiterates this to the guards that stand at the entrance to the Settlement: "Without Cleo or Garren present escorting them, only military or clergy may enter the Settlement, and they must be warded before entry."

Seeing Valerie, whom he's met only a scant few times, Cleo would offer a vague explanation:

"We've suffered a string of unexplained kidnappings and have good reason to believe there are more to come. If whoever's behind this should succeed in kidnapping more of us, it could hurt the whole region, as they are using us to fuel a larger threat. This is a measure to keep our people safe until we discover the kidnapper or until a bigger security project is complete. I know you to be a healer, because you agreed to follow and offer healing when we faced Mensbane. We would humbly accept any care you'd be willing to give."

In response to the requests from the civilians that they be allowed to retrieve a few things, Cleo agrees with Garren, allowing lists to be made so that Military and Clergy can retrieve things for civilians. But he also lets it be well known among the refugees that he will soon allow small groups to enter the Settlement and Farms.

Noticing some of the grumbling and expecting that it might get worse, Cleo sends word to a friend in Shadowdale, then offers up a prayer. Anyone nearby might swear the prayer contained the words "Moonstruck" and "Sparks".

Only when each question is answered does Cleo beg a moment alone inside one of the tents, where he sits at a little crate, remembering his conversation with Jay. Presently, he says to himself, "They want eight? I'll give them eight."

He fishes ink, quill, and parchment from his satchel, then begins the slow, careful process of making his list of names.

Some names, he writes, then scratches out, realizing that they have other priorities. Unable to write the name of the mage he wanted, Cleo mutters a curse against Jack Maybe, then chooses a different one, hoping he'll accept. He writes some names quickly, assuredly. He writes others begrudgingly.

When he's done, he scans the list. A goodly assemblage. Not too many elves or dwarves to make it look suspicious. A high enough power level to face that Lich again, or worse. A variety of needed skills. Trusted allies, every one, and usually available, even if relations are sometimes strained.

Spoiler:

He composes 6 identical letters. Jay didn't need one, nor did Garren, but they might as well know what the others received.

Spoiler:

Cleo would be the seventh. The eighth would receive a personal invitation, if Nadin allowed it.

Then, remembering old and recent threats to himself and to others, and needing no more or less than eight people to carry out this plan, he writes two more letters, "In case someone is unavailable. Or worse." He seals them and sends them, praying that they are well received.

The poke from the messenger thunderously shattered Ashton's peaceful slumber. It felt as if thousands of war drums were beating inside his head as he peeled his face from the tavern table and rubbed his eyes. The clinking of overturned empty bottles of whiskey rang as he lazily dragged the half full one still lingering in his hands from the night before to his lips. Grumbling quietly he opens the letter and reads it carefully.

"Sober? Hells... Tell the Dawnlord I'm on my way."

Waving the messenger off he struggles to his feet and stretches his back. "Why not," he thinks to himself. "I suppose I've been wallowing in self pity long enough. Better stock up on whiskey."

Turning back to the Farms, he calls the Squires to him, and plainly tells them thusly

" I will not force any of you to stay, those who wish to go to Drannor do so, however those of you who stay, We will continue your Training now!! To those staying, your training will consist of this, learning your opponent. You have all exceeded my expectations, and to this a salute you. but Members of the Aster, know that this will determine our very way of life. I leave this decision to you! Stay or Leave. "

Gathering what supplies he can, Garren instructs those of the Lathanderites to follow him, as he begins to set up barricades a the Gate leading to the Lathander Settlement from the Lathander Farms. Not taking time for his meals, he works through the night, also having spoken to the Keeper, the Dawnlord & Jay. Coming to his own conclusion, he rallies those of the Aster, to tend to the construction of said barricades.

" Alright, thats seems to be what the plan is. Ok, now we set up these barricades. Use this wood provided the wooden planks left around the Settlement, I will have it replaced later, when reconstruction begins. Good job to you all. You have shown you are true to the Aster."

Giving a forced hearty chuckle, she salutes them, and begins to wander off, to see to his Morning Prayers.

Amatria who spends most of her time in Myth Drannor for the time being, takes some hours out of her days to spend in the camp, singing and playing to the refugees in hopes of keeping their spirits high. When not in the camps, she spends most of her time around the campfire outside the inn, also playing a lot on either flute or lute. She welcomes all, adventurers and refugees alike, who wishes to listen or to sit and have a conversation.
