Construction of the Order of Aster Barracks

Upon, being promoted to High Dawn-Knight, Garren listens to Mornmaster Beron's request that Constrcution of the Order of Aster's Barracks begin. Bowing to High Dawnlord Kinn, Dawnbringer Helene and Mornmaster Beron, Garren departs the Dawnspire, and walks to the unfinished construction zone in the Lathander Settlement.
    Turning to Amasur, Jero and other squires, he issues an order that they are to begin clearing any debris away, stocking the Stone & wood into piles.  

" We are to begin reconstruction of the Barracks, this day. Come brothers, and Sisters. Shall we?"

He calls to Amasur to aid him raise the scaffolding, from there construction can continue

Terra steps forward* Ill do what I can to help!

Amasur would immediatelly attend to Garren call, saluting him as signal of respect he would adress the High Dawn-Knight. Respectfully he gives aknowledgement to the priestess too.

- Sir, congratulations on your promotion, you most deserved it sir. I will do as you instructed High Dawn-Knight. Dawnbringer, glad to have your presence here to aid in this very important moment.

Rising back to his feet he would immeditaly set his bastard sword and shield aside, being careful only to choose a place not in reach for kids, and than he would start help with the scaffolding.

Chuckling he and Amasur, raised the Scaffolding

" Ah young squire, thank you for that, but Praise is something I do not willing ly embrace. It was after all my duty to protect those and these lands. I would also say to you, that you have have done a service in the name of Lathander. Not many can say that they fended off attacks for Undead, nor can they say that they gave their time to duty. But in other words, Well done."

Looking at Terra, he grins

" My dear Priestess, you are welcome to help. Help is always needed, and welcomed"

Pushing back, he turns to Jero and Amasur, a grin still on his lightly dirt smeared face

" Squires, perhaps you could run an errand, I need Rubber nails and a Glass Hammer, fetch these from the Blacksmith in Myth Drannor if you could"

Saluting them, he returns to stocking the Wooden planks, Stone blocks, and roof shingles. Where he will await their return

Perhaps, for the first time in a long while, a certain towering, plate clad hulk of a woman can be seen wandering through the settlement. Happening across the sudden flurry of construction activity she makes her way over to Garren and salutes smartly, before breaking into that needle-toothed grin of hers.

"Well, I'd heard things have picked during the time I've spent stationed in Shadowdale. I am pleased to see just how true that rumor is. Squire Helia, reporting for duty, sir."

Intrigued but without question the squire would leave to ask for the required itens.

Yes sir.

Looking up, he beams at her, returning the Salute, and nods to Amaur as he dashes off

" Squire Helia, welcome home. I trust all is well?"

Waiting until Amasur is gone, he laughs

" I have sent them on a fools errand, hopefully they will not look disapprovily upon me. If we were to use rubber nails and a glass hammer, the barracks would cave in. Such a notion is humourous don't you think?"

Nods, smiling brightly

"Most well. There have been a few issues of course, but nothing of any true consequence."

She laughs, looking back toward the leaving squires.

"Most humorous. I would prefer the roof remained over my head rather than upon it when a stiff breeze strikes up though. Let's just hope they take it in good stride."

Nods at her comment

" Now that I have you here, I am removing you from your duties in Shadowdale. With the Knights now back in Shadowdale, and Righteous Sister Imesah there as a Diplomat. We can begin here, with this the Barracks. I would also like to point out that all Dawn-Knights have been recalled. as we must rebuild wat was destroyed."

attaching the frames, he gingerly pulls out a hammer, and begins hammering away. Looking up every so often he makes sure that the others are assisting in the Reconstruction.

"Helia, while you are here, you may wish to change in the Dawnspire, into something less that will not hinder your work here. as to that I wish you to aid us in the Barracks, please!"

Cleo arrives around mid-day with a light lunch of porridge and sausages for the workers, served in steaming bowls ladled out personally by the High Dawnlord, himself.

He inspects the site and nods approvingly at the work, then makes idle chat about several matters of interest, including the puzzling laughter of several Myth Drannor vendors when he was shopping earlier.

He's take another look around the site, alone this time, studying it more closely. Then he'd call an assistant over and say, "Can you find Neoras? He he might be interested in helping. Never hurts to have an elven architect on hand, does it?"

Seeing Cleo he would call him over, wiping the sweat from his brow. His tunic top is draped over one of he Scaffolding rail. As the Sun  is pelting down.

"Hail High Dawnlord. What news from the Spire, or Drannor? You havent happened to run into two Squires by any chance. "

If Cleo inquired to Garren as to why the shop keepers in Drannor was laughing he would explain to him, that he sent Jero and Amasur to the Blacksmith, for a glass hammer and rubber nails, chuckling as he explains it

The sunelven architect isn't hard to find as he soon wanders past the Dawnspire himself to take a good look around it, as usual armed with a sketchbook and charcoal pencil to make notes and drafts here and there.

Arriving at the scaffolding he takes a rolled parchment from his bag and offers it to Garren:

"These are the farmers who have recently returned from the refugee-camp and who have shown talent and interest in construction work.
I can recommend each of them myself - and they are locals too. I understand with the harvest already brought in they might be available for your work here, and given the orders role in defending their homes, I am sure you won't need to do much convincing."

He'd take a few walks around the building site studying tools and setup carefully, maybe offer some advice on adjustments or placements of scaffolding, then return to Garren.

Is there anything you require further assistance with?

Looking at Neoras, he grins

"According to High Dawnlord Kinn, you are an Architect, no? Pehaps if you were to gather the Knights and Farmers, after I speak with them you could perhaps get us all working co-ordinate the construction as it may be."

Takes a rag and wipes the sweat from his face. He Looks to the Farmers and asks for their assistance in the Construction. If they would agree, he would smile to them and welcome them. Awaiting Neoras instructions Garren takes a bite from a peach

Cleo smiles at the two. "I'd help you, but my hammer work is like lightning: I never strike the same place twice."

His eyes twinkling, he adds "I'm more farmer than carpenter, so I'll go attend to some of the duties our farmers will leave behind when they come to build. Good day!"

Growing tired of his practical joke, Garren looks to another Squire, over by the River.

" Young Squire, please go fetch Squires Jero and Amasur. Inform them to return to the Settlement at haste. Also if you would that it was a practical joke. Morning Father guide you."

the High Dawn-Knight returns to the Construction of the Barracks

One day Ravossel, and Donnleen skip out on there daily/nightly hunting of the walking, to aid in the building of the barricks. Once the pair get to the conditions sight, and seeing how every one is hard at work doing wat there doing, Ravossel, and Donnleen just stand there completely dumbfounded at what to do next. . . . Or that would have benn the case if they had not smelled the sweet sent of sweet rolls, cakes, roasted meets lofting on the winds from the market. With a grin, and a plan in thought Ravossel sends Donnleen out fishing at the near by river away from the central part of the settlement and more into the wooded section thats still with in the Mythal. While Donnleen is out fishing Ravossel feches larga cooking pot. She takes the cooking cooking pot into the shade of the near by wood that's be hind the Barracks, but remains easly in sighs, and near by. She then heads into the market and buys cream, potatoes, mushrooms and a number of other goods. As Ravossel heads back with the goods in toe, she spots children at planing in the market. With a grin, and a twinkle in her eyes, Ravossel heads off to find the all the candy, backer, and fruit stalls.

* with a soft smile * Here take this *hands off 150 gold to each stall* ( poke me in game to have X some of gold removed )  when ever some children run by, and if there well be behaved *smiles a bit with a poss* as well behaved you were as a child when at play with friends. * with that Ravossel heads off to the next stall. Once every one in the settlement was visited she heads back to were the cooking pot was set up earlier in the woods be hind the barracks.

By the time Ravossel gets back to her cooking place, there's Donnleen with a pile of fish well . . . . a pile of half eaten fish that is. With a sigh and a amused laugh or two Ravossel cleans the half eaten fish, and place the meat into the pot. After washing her hands, she adds the cream, water, herbs, chopped potatoes, onions, mushrooms, sweet corn (if there's any) along with a few other items. As the soup slowly cooks she goes about laying a large white blanket down on the ground and sorts out a wide selection of healing materials to mend smashed thumbs, crushed hands, cuts, and so on that happens during construction. Once every thing is layed out, and the soup is sutured Ravossel walks around with a water bucket making sure every gets water, and letting the workers know about the soup and if they need aid she can tend to there injuries.

Seeing her attend to the Injured, Garren would nod smiling to her

"never let it be said that she never look after other"

He resumes his work, baked in the Sun's masterful glow. Garren is sweating under the belting rays of the Sun.

* Being fair skin as she is, Ravossel remains covered up in light robs of a blue color and a holy symbol of Lurue sown over her left Brest. The holy symbol of Lurue shines, and shimmers in the bright sunlight. Pulling up a hood to cover her head, and face from the sun, Ravossel makes her way over to Garren, with the water bucket. *

Here, have some water *a soft smile can be seen under the shade of the hood.* and I'll have some food ready about lunch time In the shade of the wood that's be hind the barracks.

Several days had past, and with the lower levels both Interior and exterior built, the men and women,at the construction site, begin that morning on singling the roof and finishing off the upper level. Every now and then High Dawn-Knight Smolder, can be seen with a random farmer, farmhand, squire or knight carrying Lumber, stone, plaster or buckets of water.
 Near days away from a full constructed building he send's word to the Dawnspire, or should High Dawnlord Kinn be around, he would speak to him in private and o a personal matter. With some satisfaction in his heart his looks up now and then, marveling at the hard work  that is displayed by all those of the Settlement

One morning Ravossel in not seen in Myth or in the farmlands or in settlement, but this is not the first time this has happened. For she has time to time spent a few days, and nights back to fighting the undead that walk the woods around Myth.
