The Order of Aster

Entering the Dawnspire, Garren sighs, looking at Berun

"My Friend, the Time has come." He Pauses " As soon as we are finished here the Order are moving to Shadowdale, I will leave contingent behind, to offer protection, But we both knew this day would come."

Dipping his Head he leave the Spire, and informs the Order of Aster with the grounds of the Farm and Settlement that they will be leaving in the next few days


///Ok heres the story. I will be taking the Order to Shadowdale, and My plan is to set up a Shrine were the Old Temple used to be, From there, Raise the Funds and Tokens to rebuild the Temple. This Guild will be Lathanderite, but Separate to the Dawnspire in Myth Drannor.

As soon as Garren's squire, Amasur Reynolds, receives the order he starts to pack his things, tend theirs horses and check for supplies.

- Sir, yes sir.

Berun Looks at Garren puzzled.

You are taking the Order? The Orders pupose here is to protect the Farms and Settlement.
The Mythals protection is not over our lands yet and we still suffer from the war in shadowdale and reduced numbers. We only recently suffered an attack by an Undead Horde and you wish to leave us here?

deep disapointment come to the eyes of the Mornmaster and he takes a deep sigh...

so be it. You may leave your post and i can relieve you of your duties so you can go where your heart desires. The Knights have been send here to protect the People here and will remain unless a grave peril strikes Shadowdale and they are needed there.
But as has been discussed serveral times our church does not have the funds to finance two churches, the Dawnspire isnt even finished yet.

the elderly man takes another deep breath and Looks Garren in the eyes

i will not hold you if you wish to be somewhere else and make a new start... but the Order is needed here.

"You heard me wrong"

Sighs, returning to the Spire, taking a Pew, he sits there in silence

Looking to Berun

" I understand, but I will leave for Shadowdale, to create a new Order, with your Blessing!"

He has in his hand a Letter addressed to Lady Mayor Glamerie, and it reads thusly


He hands the Letter to his Squire and asks that he deliver it to Glamerie, the Lady Mayor of Shadowdale. Turning to the Seal of Lathander, his heart heavy, he kneels and bows, then after a few moments, he stands and walks from the Spire

The squire receives the letter

- Sir, as your squire I'll do as you ordered, but if I understood correctly only the two of us are going right? I may be asked about numbers.

" Yes squire, you, Jero and Giselle are to go to Shadowdale"

Offers him a friendly pat on the shoulder

*Amasur nods and smiles weakly back before return to his affairs and pack his horse*

- I will deliver the letter imediatelly Dawnmarshall

Hearing of this only because of a note slipped furtively under the door of his prayer cell, and bound by the terms of his fast not to communicate with the outside world, Cleo can do nothing--only try to counter his sorrow and confusion with a prayer to Lathander that patience, brotherhood, and forgiveness, and duty will prevail in the heart of his friend.

Imesah is similarly surprised and confused when word reaches her ears of the decision. She awaits the traveling knights in Shadowdale in hopes that she can intercept them and find out more.

He calls out to the squire to stop, after a moment, he takes the letter himself

" I thank you, Squire. I apologise. I have not been thinking all to clearly in the past few days. I would speak with the Mornmaster one last time"

He enters the Spire one last time and speaks to Berun

" You took me in, when my mind was clouded, Lathander came to me, after both deemed this fool worthy to carry his Mantle. I know in my heart what I do is wrong. I just feel angered, that I was not notified about this change in Shadowdale. Know that if you ask me to stay. I would, but I ask this old friend. As the Order protects the Lands of Lathander , would it be wise to keep me informed on anything like this .

I feel as if no one can trust in my judgement. But my Brothers and Sisters should know that they come first, before all else, save the Morning Lord. Should you ask, I will answer from the heart.

When a second note is slipped under Cleo's door, he opens it quickly and anxiously reads it. Coming to the end, he breathes out a prayer of thanks, then clutches the letter to his heart, smiling skyward.

The squire returns the letter, that fortunatelly had not yet travelled

- Nothing to apologize, sir. I will return the horses and resume to my duties here Dawnmarshall.

Amasur bows respectfully and leaves to unpack the horses
