Guard against the Undead.

After packing his things at Shadowdale East and making a trip through Shadowdale Plains, Mark makes his way up the hill where he can see Shadowdale's North Gate and a fair bit of Daggerhills. As he suggested to Kendra, he keeps watch on any hostile movements towards Shadowdale to help alleviate the pressure on Shadowdale Militia.

He has never camped in there and it is pretty windy and cold at night, but thanks to the tent and his stubornness he keeps watch whenever he is not required elsewhere, which is pretty much, at all times.

Except some visits from Kendra and Laura, Mark spends all the time alone moving between the Northern vales of Shadowdale that are within his limits and Daggerhills, keeping an eye out for undead.
It looks like a boring task, and it surely must be but hells, at least he is doing something.

Bored as ever, Mark uses his time to guard the Northern entrance to Shadowdale and when the situation allows it, he walks through Daggerhills to Freehaven to see the current status of the "city"
Thanks to the visits of his friends, Mark has begun to read a book of Ilmateri prayers, although most of the time it makes him more bored than what he usually is, at least, he has something to think about.

as Mark enters the Daggerhills area he would soon encounter the first groups of wandering undead. The deeper he goes the more organized and difficult it would be to make any Progress until it will become too dangerous to proceed, as the Undead become more numerous and powerful.

Those that visited regularly will find that Mark is missing most of the day, only returning to his camp at night.
