Purple lights in the Sky

two nights ago, the Freehaven militia men standing watch at the Freehaven surface Settlement gave Alarm as they spotted dancing purple lights in the sky to the south of Dondarions Castle.

The Red Wizards highly alarmed as well as they were sensing some ripples going through the weave, tried to Scry the location..

They were shocked when they saw a gargantuan form rising from the ground, most of its bones long buried by tons of rock and earth. They also saw flesh slowly forming around the bones again.. at some places along its skeletal body.

Shortly thereafter the scrying wizard fell unconscious as some countermagic was enacted against the scry.

The Militia is now set on high alert at all times. While the Panic below is once again rising after having settled down in the last tenday.

Two days after the first rumors, Nadin Moonbolt went with Piak to investigate. Being carefull to not be openly exposed the last walked using the few shadows avaiable, while the first had prepared several escaping spells. They avoided engage the undead threats, going as close to the Undead Castle and Nomad fortress to measure the enemies numbers while in relative safety. Not taking chances they leave the areas without much greed for closer inspections. The elf tried identify too if any new spell lingered in the area, traces of some epic cast or ritual, just like the last ones him or some other mage detected when the undeads did mighty casts.
In that day both went back to Shadowdale only to join others in order to confront fleeing scores of giants and nomads from the desert that attacked the dale of shadows.

After Tharan hears the rumors he seriously considers moving his business elsewhere... and then questions his sanity when he decides to stay in Freehaven.

*Mist smirks as he hears the rumor*

To think, I was correct when I said the weave fluctuations were most likely due to the raising of large quantities of undead, or the raising of rather large undead.... ... Now where is Malik? I want to gloat.

*Roman hears the rumors of this giant megalithic form rising from the ground on one of his business trips to Freehaven*
