The Dawn be Praised

Imesah posts a notice to the Shadowdale board.

"People of Shadowdale!

"As you may or may not know, Cleophus was poisoned some time ago by a servant of darkness. The cure for this poison has been elusive, and only now has a viable cure been found. A ritual to cleanse his body will be performed in the Dawnspire in four days time.

"For this ritual to be successful we will need as many as we can gather to bestow their blessings, prayers, and good will unto Cleophus. Tell everyone you know, send word to the farthest Dales and farther! Let everyone who's lives have been touched by this man know that his story is not over, and that evil has not triumphed. Let the trumpets sound and let the bards sing of this joyous day!

Reading the notice, "He was dead? Well, I'll be damned."

Alexander then sighed, walking off.

Before Morning Prayer with the knights stationed at shadowdale elric hears of this and tells the faithful of this hopeful rallying cry for a brother of the faith.

"Dawn be praised brothers! we must all if duty permits attend this ritual for the sake of brother Cleo!"

Elric then recites "Salutation to the Dawn" as Morning Prayer:

"Listen to the Exhortation of the Dawn! Look to this Day! For it is Life, the very Life of Life. In its brief course lie all the Verities and realities of your Existence. The Bliss of Growth, The Glory of Action, The Splendor of Beauty; For Yesterday is but a Dream, And Tomorrow is only a Vision; But Today well lived makes Every Yesterday a Dream of Happiness, And every Tomorrow a Vision of Hope. Look well therefore to this Day! Such is the Salutation of the Dawn!"

Ranya reads the notice with s light sigh of relief and would tell any he knew to be friendly with Cleo

Amatria, who had not heard about Cleo's death, gasps as she reads the notice, her eyes tearing up shortly. After having calmed herself from the slight shock of those news, she rereads the post to make sure she has the time and date right.
