A tall but thin man, adorned in leathers as well as a wolf's skull on his head and wolf pelt on his back, approaches the northern edge of the Shadowdale Woods looking for a place called the "grove."
*grumble grumble* ". . . That hunter said I'd find it here. Damn it all."
He sits down and idly stabs his claw blade into the dirt.

More reports of animals with oddities to them surface. Some have horns, some have odd colors, extra limbs, eyes...it seems the possibilities are really endless. Roughly one in every ten animals one sees seems to have some sort of abnormality.

" Lhanir I need to talk with you. It's about some type of a Talonite sickness that's spreading across the lands. "
*Ravossel looks, all over looking for Lhanir.*
Whilst in the Grove, Ravossel would be approached by the one she sought. Lhanir's brow furrows with concern.
"Do you speak of the one that malforms creatures? Or perhaps they have decided to move to something more horrific.."
*nods once*
This sickness effecting a lot more then just the animals Lhanir. It effects the trees, and plants by rotting them away, and Turing them into twisted thing. I can no long commune with the land as this sickens lingers.
*sighs softly.*
The land gave me a vision, and In this vision is a place that's concealed of a darkened area, as if I could not see my own hands in front of my face. Jolts of figures appear before me, if only but a millisecond. *Ravossel closes her eyes for a moment be for she keeps going.* What I can make out of them is that they are animals. They are running from something, and there looking behind them in a panic as whatever it is that chases them draws closer. That this moment in this vision I'm unable to see the animals clearly, nor am I able to see what is chasesing them.
*Ravossel takes a deep slow be she keeps going.*
I feel something in the vision I had. A dark, sinister feeling. This very feeling I had is a direct threat to nature itself and all it stands for. And then it strikes at my heart, making me feel sick, I had to with draw back from the vision to keep from vomiting.
*Ravossel posses for a moment.*
Then I tried to meditate by the grate golden oak in the place know as the city of song, and the same vision came to, but at that time I did vomit. I fear if I try this again I'll get the sickness.
*few deep berths.*
I believe in order to find out more about this sickness and how to stop. We may have to go to there old hang out and see if any one is there, and if so question them. I do have three Rods that can help with this. One dominate person, charm person, and the last is big bee's crushing hand.
And *Gets a bit overly excited * Queen Lurue has gifted me with the ability to see the sickness when I need to.
*Then suddenly with a very bright smile Ravossel goes to give Lhanir a big hug.* It makes me happy to see you again Lhanir, I hope your doing well.
The woman nodded, listening to Ravossel's words as if not phased by the news. When the elf went to hug her, she extended an arm, but this time not in the usual fashion to give her a half-embrace, but to expose her palm in a motion for her kin to stop before coming in direct contact. She hoped that, like the last few times, Ravossel would understand the implication. "These are the things I have seen, and last we spoke intimately of the subject you shared this sight with me, and I told you that I too had seen it as well. Other druids have envisioned such things too."
She lowered her hand as she paused for a moment, silently considering the elf's words before she continued. "It is possible they may still be there... and it would not hurt us to investigate the area.
"And what do you mean, gifted you the ability? This sickness is not so lacking in visual changes, sister. Perhaps though there are more subtle changes that can be hidden..." Lhanir flicked her gaze around the Grove then back to the elf with a weary smile, responding to her final words. "I could be worse, I could be better. But I am glad that you are happy."

*Ravossel shakes her head.* Queen Lurue has gifted me with ability to literally see the sickness, we both can see the effects of the sickness, but not really see it see it. *Ravossel takes a deep breath* ok any thing that's sick gives off a sickly hue glow. By sick I meen with the disease.
Here let me show you. *Ravossel closes her eyes, as she starts to work the gift from Lurue, to show Lhanire what she's talking about. (( if approved ) When Ravossel's eyes open, they glow a soft blue color, as she looks up at Lhanir, and then around at her soundings, then back up at Lhanir.)*
*With a soft sight.*
When we go, I have to pick up the rods that I minchend, and see if they can be recharged. And then from there, we head to the old skull inn and into there base ment.
"I will meet you outside of town before we proceed, then. There are those here that I must attend to right now, but within the day or the next I will depart and head to Shadowdale. Nature's Blessings, sister."
With that, the Arch Druidess turned and headed to the far end of the Grove, disappearing within the cavern opening.
(can proceed with that here or in-game, up to the DM)

* with a worry smile.* Lhanir your the only one ,,,,, that's,,,,,*sights softly and in a low voice.* tainted with this sickness. *then Ravossel perks back up some.* every one here! and the grove for now remains untuched by the sickness.
The gnome over there. * motions to the entrance of the grove.* Is Terra who is a knight of the masked leaf. Who is a nature dighty.
Ok take care Lhanir, I'll leave Donnleen here, and head to shadowdale to see about recharging thees Rods.
(Unless they have otherwise been cured, there is a ranger and animals down in the nursery who are afflicted that Ravossel is probably unaware of due to her not having access. They are barred inside to avoid contaminating the rest of the Grove and checked upon frequently.)

A little Bloodmoon goblin slave stands in the woods and sings an eerie song.
Whenever you see the raven go by, You'll now you'll be the next to die, They'll wrap you up in bloody sheets, and throw you down ten thousand feet, They'll put up in a big black box, and cover you up in dirt and rocks, All goes well for about a week, Until your coffin begins to leak. The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out, The worms play pinochle in your snout, They eat your eyes, they eat your nose, They eat the jelly between your toes. A big green worm with rolling eyes Crawls in your stomach and out your eyes. Your stomach turns a slimy green, And pus pours out like whipping cream. You'll spread it on a slice of bread, And this is what you eat when you are dead.

*Once Lhanir has walked off, Ravossel returns to Terra. On the way over to her Ravossel checks her wrappings, and outer clothing over, along with Donnleen's, to make sure the sickness is not upon them.* (( looks over at the DM) if there wrappings, out outer clothing is tainted, Ravosses uses the strong cleaning spites from a healing kit to kill off the disease, and if that Duse not work she makes fire come forth from her hands ( feet: elemental essence) to burn away the sickness.)
Terra, let's rest here for a time! them head into shadowdale. Lhanir will meet us just out side of shadowdale, once I'm dun gathering up a few materials, and she has some thing to take care of here as well. Flint, and Donnleen can't come with us into town.
*Ravossel looks down at Donnleen* I know, I know * Ravossel says loving to the tiger.* I'm sure the grove Dryad will watch out for you while I'm away in the town.
*With a soft smile Ravossel looks back up at Terra.* just as a heads up Lhanir may not wish you to come along with us.
*Ravossel Looks back down at Donnleen, with a loving smile.* and yes you may wonder about the grove, but do't go into the cave ok.
*And with a Nod Donnleen wonders off to explore some.*
* Ravossel looks back up at Terra.* now let's eat and rest.

Leo looks at Maya and attempts to say a full sentence without her interrupting him again: "Sister it is good to see you, I was in Myth Drannor and Shadowdale Woods, I was meeting with druids to see if they can ..."

Maya interrupts him: "Oh you were with the druids ... this explains the stench ..." Maya crosses her arms and sighs, boringly rolls her eyes as she waits for Leo to continue.

Leo continues annoyed trying to outloud his sister Maya: "... To see if they can tell us something about the disturbance that is hitting the nature, if they know more about this mysterious disease. I was given this box and inside you can find a large brain of a rat, for you to study and maybe you can make a new cure just like you did in the past. But you need to be careful, from what I found out, this disease spreads physically, through a contact with an infected life form."

Maya looks disguised at Leo and eyes the box with wide eyes, shocked: "Are you insane!? You brought me what? Rat's brain? Which druid talked you into this? I am not touching that brain ever! I don't want that its stench kills my perfect mushroom aroma."

Leo realizes how difficult this is going to be. He gives that inside look at Maya before he speaks up again: "But if you don't help us make cure, then this disease will infect many bunnies in the forest, and then their brains will end up in someone's box."

Maya gasps and frown wars with Leo: "You had to play on cards of cute bunnies, you said you wont do that anymore! You are pure evil." She approaches to Leo with her quick steps and forcefully takes the box with rat's brain out of Leo's hands. "You and druids owe me big time, again!" She then continues with the box and as she passes she hits Leo's shoulder with hers to show how mad she is. She keeps talking despite of leaving the conversation area, she could still be heard in the distance complaining about this task: "I am the Mushroom Princess, it's not my job to touch smelly slimy tissues, this is so beneath me. What are my followers going to think when they see me like this, this is unacceptable, if I see a druid again I am so going to kick him in the ..." Maya takes the box away from the Lyonwilds and performs the studies and experiments on the rat's brain while fully protected and immune to disease in her iron body and suit for such, for she has dealt with this kind before and she knows to be careful. She also makes comparison to the disease of previously two plagues caused by Talona and tests the cures she made in the past against the current disease, she has all her tools for this stashed outside of important forest spots (waiting for DM to decide what Maya discovered, if discovered anything at all).

"I'll be ... home ... meditating ..." Leo adds his line even if Maya did not bother to listen. He then goes in Lyons Forest and shares the case with all the Lyons before he enters meditation in same way that Ravossel instructed him, hoping that maybe spirits will have some answers.

*with a smile Ravossel speaks.* I gave the Leo's a sample that was given to me by Ahri. The odds are fairly good they may come up with a mix of a herbal alchemical mix to kill off the sickness. While they are doing that bit, my self, Lhanir, and may be you as well. Are going to shadowdale, and into a place were know of a Talona shrine. If there is any one there, we will get the answers we seek that may or may not lead to the removal of this sickness.
*Ravossel brakes off some of the backed bread, and uses that to scoop up some smoked fish, be for noming on it some.*
As of now there are two plans set in monition working along side of each other, going down different paths, that lead to the same gaol. So Terra remain calm and relaxed, fallow the flow, while focusing onto this path. But for now we eat, and rest for all we can do has been dun, for now.
*Ravossel smiles, as she noms on her backed cheese bread with nut covered in smoked fish.*
