Story to the Orphanage Empty
PostSubject: Story to the Orphanage   Story to the Orphanage EmptyMon Jun 23, 2014 2:18 pm

Making her way to visit the children at the Orphanage, Leeora has a skip in her step. It had been many weeks since she had last seen them, and she missed them terribly. She decided she would make a surprise visit and read a story to them.

PostSubject: Re: Story to the Orphanage   Story to the Orphanage EmptyWed Jul 02, 2014 12:33 pm

Taking time to recuperate from her two recent conflicts, Leeora spends her time more around the Orphanage. She seems a bit tired to those that know her normal vibrant personality. However, she does her best to keep it hidden from the children.

Wearing her sunrobe hides the mending bruises she may have, save for one that likely could be seen on the side of her temple. This is hidden well by her hair that flows like golden fields across her shoulders. Only those with keen eyes can spot the bruise.

She keeps a bright smile on for the children, explaining to them that she had just missed them so much, she needed to stay with them for a while. She reads stories to them from the bookcase and does what she can to help cook meals (though she is no baker). After each day is done, she makes her way to the grass by the dock and plants a flower in a small area she has begun to make a garden. Some of the flowers have grown, a signal that she has done this for years. They only bloom in the morning, as they are morning glories.

Elric would spot her near the docks; He takes off his helmet and walks over to her.
Approaching her he'd smile "M'lady tis wonderous to see thee hither. T'has been a while since we've last met how fare thee?"

She turns and regards him with a warm, kind smile. It's clear from the look on her face that she is very grateful so see him again.

"Dawn be praised, my dear Brother. It is so relieving to see you. It has indeed been some time. I do hope from the bottom of my heart that you have been well?"

She tilts her head, looking genuinely concerned.

"Last I saw you, you seemed troubled. I do hope things are better for you and that the Light has graced you with Hope."

His smile turning into a grin he seems to share the sentiment

Dawn be praised Sister i have been well enough. he chuckles
Even more when thine radiance shines upon me eft.

He scratches the back of his head with a smirk

Parfay Sister tis not my usual disposition.. the darkness takes many forms and we toil to vanquish it a fervor to match the golden hue of the morning.

Indeed the future glows ever brighter in it's own pace.
Thou should introduce thyself to Dawnlord Cleophus and learn of the miracle that transpired through the toil of good.. Mayhap t'would be good for thee to meet other dawnbringers in the community.

Parfay Sister if thou needs anything thou needst only call upon me.

She brightens visibly at his remarks, her cheeks even turning the slightest tinge of pink. The big smile however, causes her to flinch from the bruise. She does her best to hide the expression of slight pain.

"You are too kind, Sir Elric. Truly."

When she hears of Cleophus, she nods quickly.

"I am very excited to get the chance to meet him personally. It warms my soul to know that he is safe with us now. To think that the Dawn rose again for him, despite how terrible things were..."

She sighs wistfully.

"It is a very, very comforting thought."

Kneeling down, she reaches out and brushes her hand across one of the morning glories, her face taking on a gentle look.

"With how gentle we all are, it can sometimes be frightening to think just how short life can be with our loved ones."

He kneels beside her faintly noticing the bruise his eyes widened and his expression serious again.

"Sister... what happened?"

She looks away, touching her hand to her face and chuckling.

"It is really nothing. Just a couple encounters with those that find the darkness better than the Light. I am just blessed to have my life. In the first encounter, the man stated some terrible things concerning impaling me on a blade. I am lucky to have the Morninglord at my side, lest the man very well may have succeeded. The man created an undead. I could not stand idly by while such desecration to good happened. The other encounter, I'm afraid I do not remember."

She looks to him and her face softens. Attempting to take his hands in hers, a kind and gentle gesture as she has done before, she speaks with a calm demeanor.

"He will face judgement one day. I would not wish for anything to happen to you should you come across him, dear Brother. I will explain his appearance if only you promise me that you will take great caution should you come across him. I would not want to be the reason you were injured."

She begins to describe the man, specifically Vandros Aers ((May be spelling it wrong)).

"He wore armor, like we do, and a helm. At one point I saw his helmet off, and he had longer, grey or white hair. He created an undead in order to fight by his side at the house where the Spiders are in Shadowdale. He tried to get the spiders to attack me as well, but I assure you it didn't bother me one bit. The Morninglord has blessed me greatly to withstand the greatest of odds."

She then smiles serenely.

"As I said before, he will face judgement. Dawn be praised, for He is with us at all times, and the Dawn will always rise to weed out the darkest of places."

"Thou has my word sister. This dawnknight will do as you said."

He salutes fist over heart and moves closer to leeora.
He would use lay on hands if she would let him - healing energy would surge from him as he laid a hand on her shoulder. he proceeded to give her a warm familial hug.

"All of his flock are family sister. His name be praised we look after one another."

With a smile he lets go and adjusts his gear.

She would allow him, closing her eyes as the healing surge washes over her. Once the spell has finished it's work, she opens her eyes to him hugging her. She is taken aback at first, not expecting it, but she hugs back tightly, a brightened smile crossing her face. He probably just made her whole week.

"If you go to seek the man out, will you let me know? Perhaps I can help."

"Very well sister.
We shall march in force with all those who serve good welcome at our side."

With a smile he bids her farewell and departs to resume his duties.

She waves farewell to him, watching him leave with an exuberant smile on her face. Kneeling down, she picks one of the blooming morning glories, then says her prayers as the dawn rises.

She finishes attending to the flowers after prayer, then begins wandering the area, checking the Dawnspire, and general grounds to search for Cleo. A morning glory in her hair, a radiant smile on her face, Leeora is a bundle of happy, serene energy.

After not being able to find Cleo where she looks, she packs her things and heads to Shadowdale.
