Rotten meat around the campfire

As she approaches the campfire in Shadowdale Central, the moonelf Aríer'iattia encounters a most disgusting sight: several chunks of rotten meat, infested with maggots and worms lie about the spot, the stench mixing with the smoke from the fire.

After questioning the young woman Lesia who is seated on a bench by the fire, the two gather the chunks in a sack and leave town through the eastern gate to burn them at a distance far enough away so the guards won't be bothered with the stench. ((The burned area in Shadowdale East))

A guard looks to her and offers a thankful nod. "Thanks for that lass, you find out where that meat came from, and hand in what could pass as a report and hand it to Sargent Asha there be a small reward in it for you."

She wrinkles her nose a bit at the guard's words, and says with a shrug, "I'll see what I can pick up, but if the patrolling guards didn't see who did it, I doubt there'll be much hope of me finding the culprit."
