Around the campfire

*After finishing her duties in the Lathander temple Arya heads to the campfire at the refugee camp. She is now seen wearing her temple robes instead of her normal armor finding them much more comfortable with the small but noticeable bulge increasing at her belly. She greets any around the fire with a warm friendly smile as she takes a seat on the bench. She pulls out a cloth with dried berries wrapped inside and begins to feed the deer that follows her around*

"There you go Mister Deer"

*Arya giggles as she watches the deer eat before turning to any others there interested in getting any news that she has missed out on since staying in the temple more the last few weeks*

Celovar sits near the fire with Arya. He seems happy to have her out and about a bit, knowing she has been feeling very cooped up. He doesn't seem completely lax and weather he says it or not people whom speak to her can tell she is being watched closely by him. He isnt any more cold then he usually is, however.

"Your planning on keeping this thing aren't you?" He motions to the deer. And gives the deer the 'I am watching you gaze he commonly does.'

*Arya giggles watching Celovar give the deer the warning glance then takes his hand and squeezes it softly*

"Mhm. I was even thinking of offering it your place in the bed next to me if you do not mind my moon"

*she smirks as she teases him petting the deer the whole time*

"Like hell. I will eat his entire body in one setting if he is ever next to you in bed. I have enough men undressing you with there eyes, I don't need a deer for competition too! Not that I cannot keep up, I am the strongest elf ever and dam good looking."

*He shoots the deer a glance daring him to try it.*

"You know alot of people have missed you while you have been away. Karovir, Nadin, Mara, and Vincent have all asked about you."

Mara comes around the campfire and smiles at the two.

Now don't you two look adorable. Arya its good to see you out and about. I was talking with Celovar a few days ago that I need to come and check on you and the baby about once a month. Just some routine check ups to make sure you both are nice and healthy.

She would smile at them and chuckle at the deer.

A deer? Oh Celovar what will you not give you lovely woman?

"I did not give her this deer. It is a parasite that has been following her around to look at her ass."

She would laugh.

It's a wild animal you silly man. It's not looking at her back side.

*Celovar rolls his eyes looking top Arya knowing she will be very happy to have company. He slowly mumbles* "Yes it is..."

*The tone is slightly childish and hushed.*

*Arya rolls her eyes at Celovar and his remarks then turns and smiles brightly to Mara*

"Celovar tends to go a bit overboard protecting me. The deer for some strange reason followed me back from Starwood right around the same time that whole terrible vampire mess ended. Not really sure why but I have grown quite fond of its companionship. Celovar knows I would be very upset with him if he decided to eat the poor creature, don't you Celovar?"

*she perks a brow looking back at Celovar trying to hide the amusement in her eyes before looking to Mara again*

"It is so good to see you again Mara. I have missed everyone so much but between my temple duties and my other squire duties I am afraid most of my freetime has been spent resting. How have you been? Have you finally been able to set a date?"

"Keep him off of my side of the bed."

*He against gives the deer that 'watching you look' before letting the two woman carry on with here conversation.

Her smile fades a bit.

No i have put the wedding on hold. Not sure when or if it will happen. Not sure if I still have a fiancé.

She shrugs and tries to change the subject.

*Arya bites her lip while looking over Mara with concern*

"Oh Mara....I had no idea. If you need someone to talk to...."

*she clears her throat sensing that she wishes to change the subject and gives Celovar a quick side glance*

"How has business been?"

"Business?"

*rolls her eyes at Celovar then smiles at Mara*

"The Royal Oak. How has it been?"

"Oh, right..."

He says little not wanting to interrupt her conversation.

Mara would shake her head.

Its nothing to worry about. We will see what happens. Hopefully he will come back. I haven't seen him in weeks. Usually he tells me goodbye or lets me know where he has gone.

She would shrug

I just have to keep doing what I am doing in running the Oak and helping those that need it. I have been spending a lot of time at the orphanage lately. It helps keep things off my mind. But the Oak is running just fine.

Evans been praying near the fire and have heard the conversation.

*He sits by the fire giving Mara a knowing look that states If ye want to talk I'm here, but he says nothing on the subject*

Vincent told me that the plans for the new shrines goes well and would be finished soon.
I asked if he had a date but he mumbled something about that it depends on how harsh the winter will be.

Mara would nod a few times.

Yes the shrines will be nice. I fear we will be needed more than ever this winter. I fear it will not be a gentle one.

She looks around at the refugees with sadness to her eyes.

I fear a lot of them won't make it through the winter unless we can possibly find better accommodations for them a lot will perish. There is room at the orphanage for the children but its the elderly I worry about.

She tries to put on a brave face and lowers her voice to Evan.

Its been a long time since I have seen him Evan. He left no word, no note, nothing to let me know he was leaving. Perhaps its for the best. Perhaps he did go back to Coldwood and found peace amongst his tribe.

She would look to the fire and then to those around it.

So....any good news lately? Anything exciting happening?

She tries to change the subject.

*Evan offers Mara some of his very old whisky*

Do not worry for things you cannot change my father used to tell me.
He constantly worried for mother when she was with child she told me.

I'm sure that he is fine, no body can capture that one and if he would be dead we wold have heard about it. I will commune with Torm to see if I get any visions next time I pray.
He might be on a spirit quest or what it it his kind do before they get married?

Mara would nod a few times.

Yes it's a trait of mine that I worry. Just like I will worry for Arya's child till it's born. It's the nature of women I suppose. I wish I knew what men like him do before marriage. Hopefully he does come back, course he may not want to if he knows that I'm going to yell at him for not telling me about his disappearance.

She would chuckle a bit trying to make light of the situation.

Celovar would look around awkwardly before glancing at Arya then back to the others.

*Evan lowers his voice* Don't worry *Evan makes a face on the irony* Tae knows you and I'm sure expect no less of you. Between you and me I think he deserve a good scolding for disappearing without a word, but its not my place to give advice. I don't know Tae well enough to, as the saying goes put my nose where it does not belong *grins and smiles*.

*then Evan looks up at Arya a little embarrassed* and congratulations to ye lady Arya. I know we don't know each other well but I like to congratulate you anyway.

*Then he looks to the deer* Ye better keep your deer from the city.
The star inns specialty is deer tenderloin and I'm afraid I like the taste of it as well even if I have never killed a deer myself.

Mara would try not to laugh but couldn't keep from it.

Oh Evan, the deer is sweet...even sweeter with carrots and potatoes.

Laughs again at that

I'm sorry Arya, you know I jest. I'm sure its a very nice and sweet deer. Unless Celovar gets a hold of it then it will turn into an attack deer.

Still chuckling and winks to Celovar then looks to Evan.

Yes he will get a good scolding for sure.

Smirks listening to the conversation.

"It is trying to see her nude. I am certain it has hidden agendas."

Nathaniel has just arrived by the fire and hears a little of the conversation.
I herd ye mentioned master Taeron being missing.
I'm sorry its not me business but I just saw him talking to lady Kasia and master Alfie by the river path. He then offers to show the way to Mara*

*Evan gestures to Mara to go ahead but stays behind to respect the couples privacy*
