Around the campfire

Years later Arya stands before the same fire in Myth Drannor. Her arms crossed she stares into the dancing flames with a far off expression on her face. She doesn't notice the small footsteps approaching but blinks and looks down at the deer who nudges into her leg. A bright excited smile curls her lips as she takes a seat and cautiously reaches out to pet the creature.

"Hello there. Who might you be?"

The deer steps forward allowing Arya to pet him. She giggles as she starts to pet the animal and takes a good look around

"Where did you come from?"

Curious, Arya strains to try and hear the rest of the conversation between the guards. When Celovar approaches she raises a brow taking note of the scowl he has directed towards the deer.

"Hello Mister Celovar."

Arya nods towards the guards that are walking away as she sits a little closer to the deer as if to protect it from Celovar.

"Do you know who those guards were talking about?"

Celovar flinches at the title of mister.

No no, just Celovar. And do not add a ser to it either. I am not a knight, I am no better then any other elf outside of combat. We should work as one people. As for the guards, no I do not. They should not be speaking on duty to allow others to hear. Maybe things got a little more lax without me around.

Arya stares at Celovar during his little rant then blinks and looks to the fire shifting on the bench uncomfortably

"I apologize. I did not mean any offense calling you Mister."

reaching out she begins to pet the deer again not really sure what to say to the strange elf beside her

"How long has it been since you were part of the guards?"

He lets out a small chuckle before rubbing a hand over his face a moment.

"That was my one rule I could not get you to follow. It has been about two cycles of the moon now."
