A brawl in the center of the town. Empty
PostSubject: A brawl in the center of the town.   A brawl in the center of the town. EmptyFri Feb 13, 2015 5:15 pm

((Okay, since Lightforge crashed we decided to put this thing out of timeline untill we can deal with it in game or we could try do it on forums.))
It was a usual day in Shadowdale.Nothing was proving to go wrong.Though one thing could attract some attention of those passing along the road. They could notice that some people, mostly three men, one in light green armor, other in crimson fancy cloak and plain clothes and another one who could truly give creeps moving down your spine in black set of armor started quite a hot discussion between each other, throwing insults and mockery. It didn't take a lot of time untill it turned a heated words exchange into show of physical abilities and aggression as man in black, who was turned quite angry by the figure in crimson clothes, stood up and attempted to land a hit in his face. Howerer, after a strong kick he found himself lying just near the campfire. But it has never ceased down the conflict as he stood up and they dedicated themselves into heated brawling. Only local and well-known druidess in white and man in light green armor tried to stop those two by using entangle spell, which tied the legs of man in crimson and given his opponent advantage, while other people simply watches with amusement.Even guards were relucant to interrupt it for some reason this day. Once the body of figure in crimson, along with few of his teeth fell down into mud as plants what kept his legs released them it could be over. But , instead of having a glory of victory , man in black armor had to face a fierce justice of druidess who placed him just near the man in crimson and tied them up.Apparently she was member of the guard and is surely just about to take those two into the custody , unless something proves to be...not that usual this particular day in small town.

A brawl in the center of the town. Empty
PostSubject: Re: A brawl in the center of the town.   A brawl in the center of the town. EmptyFri Feb 13, 2015 7:28 pm

It started like any other routine visit to Shadowdale. Most of the people there knew him by appearance by now, knew who he was, and what he did. All he every really came through town for was to buy supplies, sell merchandise and occasionally write in his small black book by the campfire on the other side of the fountain, sometimes with a drink or a meal. Even the guards had stopped bothering him at every chance, most frequently at the gates, sure of themselves that they'd find something sinister or illegal among his possessions. But they never did.

Those who knew him knew that he was always level headed and calm, a rock a midst turmoil, never starting fights, rarely getting involved in them, and rarely engaging in conversation around the campfire with the myriad of adventurers that passed through on a daily basis. Usually just went about his business with his small black book, writing in it at one moment, tearing out and burning pages another moment.

They still didn't know what he was though. They'd probably never really accept that. No matter how much he did to help out around town when all batshit crazy stuff came to a head. There was always something going on in Shadowdale, the undead scare was just the most current event, and it wouldn't be the last either. They'd probably forget any aid he would ultimately lend when and if the undead swarmed the town if they ever learned what he was. All they would see is one more evil thing in need of killing. Ironic really. How easy it was to justify a reason to kill someone and leave your conscience clear. Whatever. Coin was all he cared about.

So there he was, sitting on a crate by the fire, the blonde girl that literally never talked lying sprawled out on the bench to his left, The blue skinned elf by the water fountain, the belligerent man in red sitting on the bench to his right, and the perturbed fellow with glasses who had just cussed over something or another, he wasn't really paying attention as he scribbled transaction numbers in his book in the cipher that had become a second language to him, utter gibberish to anyone who might be looking over his shoulder, but perfectly legible to anyone who knew the code.

Something began to tickle the corner of his mind. paranoia? That wasn't like him ... He was always Cautious, but not paranoid. Yet he couldn't help but feel like someone was nearby, reading over his shoulder, even worse, that they knew the word to decode his cipher, an awkward, uncomfortable feeling washed through him as he tucked the book away, chalking it up to the sparring match he had recently been in, his opponent soundly knocking him flat on his ass after the two of them exchanged countless blows. with a shake of his head he took a large gulp from his flask of whiskey, then stuffed a wad of tobacco in his mouth to gnaw on.

Setting aside the disturbing though his eyes briefly caught glimpse of the quiet girl laying on the bench, normally he wouldn't give her more than a cursory glance, let alone a second. Something was different this time, he couldn't explain it, but he allowed his eyes to look her over, slowly sweeping across the curves of her body in a manner that he rarely ever permitted himself to indulge. Sure, he liked women, but the complications of ever getting involved with one given his own blood were just... why the hell was he even thinking about this?!

That moron in red was still talking. What kind of backwater barbarian tribe did this jackass crawl out of anyway? Hells if he would only just shut his mouth. But he didn't. He kept going. On. And on. And on. Everything Zamza had felt up to this point swiftly gave way to anger. All he could imagine was sinking his fist into the mans face. He flexed his fingers and balled them into a fist as he sat there, imagining the moment of impact. He didn't even know why. Who the hell was this guy to him? Nobody. Yet the next thing the man said was all the motivation he needed to act.

Rising from his crate Zamza took three, maybe four strides to approach the man in red, his right fist swinging with bone crushing intent towards his face. The man was ready for the attack though and managed an effective block with both of his arms, absorbing the force of the blow and leaving Zamza off balance for long enough to  plant a boot in his mid section, sending him reeling backwards, his right leg clipped the bench behind him as he fought to keep his balance, he fell backwards over the bench, his head landing mere inches from the fire. The heat was uncomfortably hot, but not painful. The flames served only to stoke the rage growing inside him even hotter.

Rising from his back in an instant with a quiet snarl Zamza charged the man again, almost oblivious to the explosion of foliage that erupted from the ground to entangle his feet and legs at the behest of the blue skinned elf. While he maneuvered through the mass of greenery seemingly by instinct, the man in red was not so fortunate, the vines held his feet and legs firmly in place. normally Zamza wouldn't take advantage of such a pathetically easy mark, but he was simply not himself anymore.

His first two blows impacted with enough force to fracture bone, and the two of them engaged in a flurry of blows that neither of them backed down from. Eventually the man in red started to lose steam, blow after blow finally taking its toll. He slumped to the ground, his body collapsing into the mud, a few of his teeth joining him nearby. That wasn't enough for Zamza, though. He approached the now unconscious man intending to stomp his head, ribs, and abdomen into the mud, to grind him into a rust colored paste of blood, bone and dirt. Before he could get a stomp off, a nearby guard had finally gathered the spine to join the fray.

Despite the armed guards assault, Zamza stood his ground and swung punch after punch at the man, fairly certain he could take him down. Then the blue skinned elf joined the fray, she had started swinging at him with a staff. He was ok with this, neither one of them were landing any good blows on him, he could do this dance all day with them. Before he could finish off the guard and put him out of the brawl, someone healed him. That was when Zamza was finished playing. Grabbing the hilt of his weapon from his belt, it blazed to life in a surge of arcane fire, the steel reaping into the guard in two murderously powerful blows. Before his blade could bite again, the silent blonde woman from the bench leaped to her feet and joined the fray.

That was the last thing he remembered.

It was just another day, the sun is bright and clear, taking a bite off of the winter chill off just for a time. Children playing like normal, with back ground sounds of the fourteen, and market noses. Ravossel leans back against the frond with a content happy bubbly smile.

But this was not to be do to some shouting near by. Ravossel opens a eye and watch as the man in red taunts, the man in black who dose the same. " May be they'll stop after time, or punch or two the blue skinned elf thinks to her self. " Has she closes her here eyes and tunes the chaos out, being all happy in her own little bubble.

Crash bag, angry shouts, and another crash. With a sigh Ravossel opens here eyes is see the man in red standing up, and the man in black get pushed over the bench, and lands dangerously close to the camp fire. " ok this is enough " she thinks to her self while standing up, then groans a bit when the man in black gets back up to only charge at the man in red. Well that was it Ravossel stopped a foot down upon the soil, sending some of her Druidic powers into the the roots, and plant life, in hopes to stope the brawl. Victory was heres!!! As the man in red was badly entangled, then frowns, when the man in black pummels the man in red.

A guard moves in to to arrest the man in black. " aww good! I can del with man in red while the gaurd deals with the man on black." Ravossel says to her self, then groans as the guard gets worked over. Darting over quickly as she can Ravossel heals the guard, and places a stone skin ward upon him.

Using her staff, and non-deadly force to put down the man in Black, but at less the man in black was quite skilled and was just barely to land a blow time to time, but the man in black inessences uses the Blue skinned elf as a punching bag. But blow, after blow, after blow Ravossel looks unfazed and hells even looks unmarked by the battle. THEN SUDDENLY!!! The monk jumps up and Drops the man in black as he reaches for some thing. Which makes Ravossel blink a few times.

"" I Thank you very much for your aid Liliany. "" *Ravossel dips her my head in thanks with a bright smile*

*Ravossel then goes about using the vines to bind up Vicarius (man in red), and Zamza ( man in black). As she dose this Ravossel speeks to the gaurd.* " Are you all right? Can you help me take thees two to the jail cell, think they need some time to cool off. If you'll take the one in red, I'll take the one in black." *If the guard dose not help Ravossel then takes both of them to the jail.*

She arrived just as Zamza and Vicarius began exchanging blows and Ving struggled desperately to bring peace between them. Her lithe figure was adorned in a taught, full length dress made of dark purple satin and trimmed with black embroidery. A black hood hung low over her head as she leaned back against the corner of the Old Skull Inn's outer wall nearest the fire. The sun hung high in the sky as she watched with great amusement the chaos unfolding before her. No one had really paid her presence any mind, not that she was even remotely trying to hide it.

"Silly Cat..." the half-breed thought to herself. "Trying to bring about order is futile." She chuckled as the black-clad man fell back, landing dangerously close to the fire. She smirked at the thought of him in flames. As the altercation drug on, it filled her with sensations most would not derive from such chaos and violence: elation, lust, and a ravenous hunger for more. Jezebel was, as a some knew (and even fewer truly knew), not a typical girl.

When the guard rushed in and Liliany joined the fray, it was all Jezebel could do not to fall over from laughter. Of course, the druid had to ruin her fun by binding the brawlers. "Pity. I was thoroughly enjoying that," she sighed.

(( And...pause. lol ))

A brawl in the center of the town. Empty
PostSubject: Re: A brawl in the center of the town.   A brawl in the center of the town. EmptyFri Feb 13, 2015 10:51 pm

Just another ordinary day, bird chipping and chickens clucking as they ran around in search of food. Little did it really matter, none of it bothered her in the slightest, there was something in the air... Or maybe not, must've been something she imagined. Thing were as they usually were when she placed herself on the bench, hands folded under her head and looking to the sky.

Before long people began to appear, a man dressed in all black with thick plate armor, the red warmonger also showed up, not that she'd give him much thought. A man in green, apparently having trouble with his armor, and that strange elven girl that always runs around with a white tiger in tow.

thud, thud

hmm? What was that noise? Apparently the man in green had thrown his gauntlets against the wall, seems like a waste of energy if you asked her, oh well, leave it to warriors to overreact when things don't go their way...

She turns her gaze as both the man in black and the man in red begin mocking the man in green... Jeez, men and their constant battle over who has the largest stick... Pft... Fools. The day men would stop trying to compare themselves to others, might just be the day they realise how useless it actually was... Not that women have done any better... Look at me in my pretty dress and fancy jewels... Like coin makes the body or mind any less frail.

she turns her head again as the man in green has stepped up next to her, looking down over her.

what is it with you anyway?

what a useless question, luckily he didn't wait around for an answer before walking out of her general area. In the mean time both the other men had begun fighting, as the man in black takes a swing at the man in red... All strength and no aim, the red man manages to block the attack even if inefficiently, and retaliates with a kick to the stomach, sending the man in black hurling towards the fire, and leading just a hands distance away from it... Jeez where's the guards anyhow?

Aaaaand of cause they have to brawl, not that the man in red had much to do, seems the man in black was more skilled in this matter, guess that is what you can expect from a battle priest without his divine gift and his weapon... Oh, here comes the guards finally...

Seems this guy really wants to spend time in a cell, he is even fighting the guards now, jeez who trained these guards, he can't even land a hit... And now the elf joins in, guess that's for the best... Healing magic, sure that helps, but if that guard can't... So the elf also wields a staff... And even she can barely hit this guy...

And with a flash of steel, the man in black draw his blade... Alright this is messy enough, let's see about ending this... With a perfectly balanced roll, the blond woman slides of the bench and into the combat area, and using her surprising speed, she plants one foot on top of the man in black armours boots, in the next second her knee finds its way onto the back of his plate with surprising force, only for that strike to be followed up with an elbow straight to the side of his head, knocking the man close to senseless, and using her leg again, the woman kicks the back of the mans kneecaps, sending him straight into the dirt, unconscious.

Guess that was all he had, rage and strength no skill to use either correctly... The woman steps away to let the guards step in, and returns to the bench, and lays down again, looking to the sky... Bloody mongrels.

This was going to be an event I was going to run, but I keep on crashing.

I normally do not do this and I would rather not, but I am voiding this event due to not being able to be there to oversee it, or until I can get another dm that would like to do it.
