Massacre in the starwood

To those entering starwood from midwood they would see a line of spears planted into the ground, on top of the spears the heads of dhaerow, between the spears are bodies hung up, some missing their heads, some with their heads on. On each body is a vial of water with an arrow crossing it

On the top of the waterfall on both sides of it the same sight can be witnessed, but here the bodies are all without a head. But the same insignia.

Littered around the forests are piles of burnt dead bodies, those investigating would see heavy arrow and dagger wounds

Hadethashk passes through the area on one of his frequent patrols through the Cormanthor. He wanders through the scene slowly, his nose cringing at the foul smell of rot and charred flesh. His lips quiver and his eyes widen a little as he comes up to the gruesome display of mounted spears and corpses. The morose woodsman cradles one of the vials in his gloved hand and examines it closely. He looks up to stare pensively at the impaled head's eyes and he remains fixated that way for several minutes.

"Not like this." he whispers to himself quietly.

Hadethashk remains there the entire day, taking down impaled corpses and gathering all the unburned drow remains into a large dirt ditch. This takes him hours, but he continues working solemnly. If he is uninterrupted he eventually burns all the remaining corpses unceremoniously.

After the fire is lit, he sits down and meditates until nothing is left but ash and charred bones.

A few days after a similar sight can be seen, but this time instead of being impaled and hung up corpses hang on the vines between the trees, Each dead drow is marked with a symbol of shevarash ((a total of 6 corpses hung up)

Aside from the ones hanging in the vines, at least a dozen and a half lie scattered about
