Office of the Administrator

A woman in a delicate robe with flowing blond hair and bright blue eyes steps up to the door of the administrator. She looks around the hall and then back to the door as if wondering if she's actually in the right place. Slowly, she lifts her hand to give a light few knocks on the door. Immediately after knocking, she steps back a bit awkwardly and mutters under her breath, regretting her decision to knock.

"I should have scheduled a meeting. I hope I'm not interrupting him..."

A few moments later the door opens, standing in its frame is Klix Akiro.  Garbed in his usual attire, minus the red overtunic.  Its absence removing the red glow that usually radiates from him, his undershirt is coloured white and frilled.  Small darkened circles form under his eyes, showing a general lack of sleep.  His "hair" spirals upwards in a small contained flame and his lips twist into a pleasant smile as he looks his guest over.  "Welcome friend, what can I do for you?"  With those words he steps to the side, gesturing the person in.  The office is filled with paperwork,  be it books or folders.  A dozen plus documents and letters spread across the desk.  A majority of them half written drafts, most of books are stacked in the rear corners of the rooms.  But the more frequently opened ones are kept reachable from the desk.

Before stepping inside, she seems to debate on the proper greeting, finally settling for a delicate bow. "Mister Administrator, my name is Leeora Klendon. Dawngreeter of the Church of Lathander. I was hoping to get a moment of your time..." Seeing him gesture her inside, she beams a smile and enters the office. Her hands clasp together in front of her and she turns to regard him politely.

"I apologize if I interrupted. It's been so hard to get a chance to speak with you, so I know you must be terribly busy. I promise not to take up too much of your time! Is now a good time to speak? Or should I schedule something? I'm...I'm not sure what would be best. Goodness this is a lot..."

Her blue eyes glance around the various papers and books and a look in somewhat disbelief turns back to him.

"How do you manage this all? You must be amazing."

"I do often become quite busy you would be correct there. Today isn't much different, letters and meetings, meetings and letters. Trust me friend you're not interrupting anything, just adding to the normalities I've become accustomed to.  If you'll give me a few moments to just organize some of these files though..." He doesn't await a response and moves towards his desk, shuffling through some of the folders and clearing a small space, continuing to speak as he does so.  "Take a seat if you like, or stand.  However you are most comfortable, but to get straight to it..." He turns towards her, eyes flickering an orange colour.  "What was it you needed to speak about, friend?"

Once he offers for her to take a seat, she does so with a smile. "Oh, take your time! Organization is key to making sure things run smoothly." While he shuffled through things, she patiently waited and as he asked what she needed, she straightened up.

"I was wanting to speak about your request of the Dawn Knights that have been sent here from the Farms. There were a few things about what you wrote that I would like to address, if that's alright. Erm...the first thing..." Immediately she begins to dig through her pockets and finally finds a small book. Flipping through the pages, she finds his letter.

"Ah yes, the first priority. Do you have copies of the reports that happened thus far on the vampire sightings? And who exactly would be best to go to as far as the militia is concerned? Isn't there a Captain...oh what's his name...Wisker? Wassler...oh goodness...I had it written somewhere..."

Stepping his way to Leeora's side he casually peers at his own letter whilst listening to her.  "You'd be looking for the name Wester, there are so many names it gets confusing doesn't it?"  He pauses and takes that time to fold his arms.  "As for reports, you'll need to coordinate with the militia to retrieve those, I believe it was Bart whom sent the report on that matter.  But I can say theres been an account of them coming from westward, as well as reports of them sighted in the kobold infested mines."

Leeora excitedly goes to write that down, then realizes she didn't actually bring a quill. She gives a bit of a sheepish smile to Klix and eyes his own quill on the desk for a few moments as she continues speaking.

"Wester, alright. And Bart? Okay. I can work towards getting a hold of them. I'll have a few of our Knights begin to patrol the mines to keep an eye out. The others I can have do routes along the West side of the town until we can get some actual pinpointed locations to search. The second priority was a bit of a problem though. Um...the paladins that are here really don't make holy water. I know someone that could probably make it in bulk though! It's a huge alchemical process. The person who I've bought a number of flasks from is named Loora. She's wonderful!"

"Please do send those knights towards those areas, it'll help us provide a constant coverage of the mines at least..." Klix encircles around to his desk again, leaning over the desk he pulls out a file and opens it, flipping through the letters within, he goes silent for a half minute whilst reading through a letter.  "I assumed there were priests sent alongside the paladins, nevermind the second request.  I'll task some of the other crafters here to help with that, I don't have enough free time to do all the alchemy myself."

"Oh I can most certainly do this. We could set up a little outpost near that small campfire across the way. Shouldn't be too difficult! And no, the only priest...well priestess, is little ol' me! And I can't say I'm great with alchemy. At all."

She pauses for a moment and her eyes light up. "Oh! But this one time I found some aloe leaves and mooshed them all up when I needed to help someone who scraped their knee! With the...the bowl and...crusher...thing..." Clearly she was talking about a mortar and pestle, but obviously knew nothing about alchemy. Leeora smiled wide.

"If we can do anything to help besides this, let me know."

A smile forms on Klix's expression as he looks up from his paperwork. "Quite a difficult task that must of been, healing someones scrape with a 'crusher thing'."  He places an overemphasis on the words 'crusher thing'.  "I'm quite skilled at the matters of bowl-crushing myself, it'd be nice if time permitted more in the terms of that."  Klix reaches up to his mouth and covers it with a fist to muffle the sound of him clearing his throat. "And I offer the same to you my friend, come by anytime."

"Oh it wasn't too difficult! I mean, once the stuff was...it was all mooshed enough. It made like this really neat paste. Really did wonders for the wound! It's amazing what our lands have to offer. Oh! I would love that! But I'd hate to interrupt your busy duties. I could always come by and drop some tea off. Do you like tea?" At this point it sounded more like she was just rambling, enjoying having someone to talk to.

"I do." He gives that short reply before retreating towards his desk, he pulls out his chair which is draped over in his Black Hounds cloak and takes a seat. Klix spends the next few moments adjusting himself which ends with him hunched forward over his desk sorting through files, not bothering to look up he asks "By chance, does the morning farms grow tobacco?" He doesn't seem quite as enthusiastic about conversing but never the less continues his conversation with Leeora.

"Well I believe I'll have to bring some tea by, sometime. Just to give you perhaps a small break every now and then, yes? I'll definitely need one as well. We could always make it like...a sort of appointment? Five to ten minutes to each day. Part of a daily routine! Something to look forward to." Leeora explains as she smiles warmly to him. She waits patiently as takes his seat and once he asks a question, she slips her little book back into the folds of her only pocket and clasps her hands together.

"Mm, no. That is not something we take the time to plant and harvest. Why do you ask, my friend?"

"At five to ten minutes, once a week is much more likely than being able to squeeze that in each day." He gives a soft smile as he says that, signing his name onto a letter. "But it does sound like it'd be worth an effort at least, as to answering about the tobacco. Nothing more than curiosity to fuel my habits."

"We can definitely try!" She says positively. "I should be on my way and get back to the others. I'll get the Knights moving to where we discussed. Is there anything else we can do for you, Administrator?" Leeora asks, standing with a warm smile on her face.
