An application is left to the Mayor's office.

A tall Aasimar in red heavy armor, holding a huge metal sheild, enters the Mayor's hall seeking for any of her assistances or secretaries leaving a small note to them.

"Please pass this to the Mayor it is my application to become a deputy, after speaking with mister Taeron and the Harvemistress they pointed out i should apply for such position to the Mayor, i am Edward of the Derthenes family from Arabel a defender of this town from the first days the Zhents occupied it, and a servant of Justice.
Now that the town is finally free, i wish to aid to its rebuild and already have started the donations for it though this was only the begining, at the same time i would like to aid the town to uphold the law, and may Tyr be my guide."

He makes a polite bow and leaves the halls. "Thank you for your time"

The Mayor's assistant takes the note and leaves it on the mayor's desk.

After some days have pass Edward visits the office again*

"Excuse me there dear lady, i have been told that my application as a deputy was succesful and that i need to find an elf named Arjay the new sheriff but i havent informed officialy from any authority of Shadowdale of that neither is possible to find the named elf, am i a deputy after all or not?"
