| Upon a cliff ledge that watched over a worn path in the Cormanthor an odd sight was seen.
A man clad in many shades of green and brown sat, his feet dangled from off the edge as keen green eyes glanced this way and that. To his left lay a Direwolf, it's fur of darkest grey, eyes of piercing yellow. To his right a Bear, with paws the size of the mans head and teeth with the sharpness of the keenest blade.
As the Canine gave a low whine, the mans' hand shifted away from the ever-living bow upon his lap, to ruffle coarse fur; His lips moved as he murmured to the beast unheard words. The great Ursine growled at the words, to which the Ranger gave a little wink at his other friend. These actions seemed to calm both mighty creatures. Another soft series of words were mused to the two, followed by a pat upon both of their heads. A moment past before the Direwolf made its' move, like a bolt of lightning it dashed deeper into the woods, only to be followed by the Bear which lumbered in the opposite direction.
A warm smile slowly spread across the Rangers face as he watched his companions move. His grip returned to the bow upon his lap, as he mumbled once more, his voice never louder then a whisper. With that, silence followed, as sharp eyes continued to survey the immediate land.

| As time began to stretch on during the ranger's surveillance, a slight breeze drifted, warm and gentle as the quiet day. A scent was laced within, a mixture of earth and flora. Shortly following this a massive wolf with the whitest of fur emerged from the trees at the base of the cliff. Similar in size to the direwolf it made short work of the cliff with powerful legs as it ascended. Behind it yet another brilliantly white-furred wolf lumbered, slightly smaller in stature but as equally intimidating a sight.
They trudged up the hill to the ledge, inspecting the ranger before settling down on one side. The largest one peered down at the man with silver irises; an intelligent gaze deeper than traditionally possible for such beasts. After a time of silence its attention moved away, checking on their blue-eyed counterpart before observing the landscape from their new vantage point.

| Her steps were quiet, but not hidden, as she walked through the woods. Behind her, a snowy, black-striped form wandered silently, amber eyes as watchful as the druid she walked by. In truth, the hooded elf would not have bothered with the form that sat upon the cliff, but there were two, snowy figures near it, canine, and there were few that such beasts would be inclined to be near.
Cautiously, she stepped closer, head tilting with her curiosity, and her feline companion showing her usual wariness. It took several moments before recognition dawned upon her, and she made a soft chuffing sound, to ensure the small group was aware of her presence, before coming within easy range of them.

| Iwean and Roan Patrolling the woods see the group on the cliff. They quietly join the group and wait for someone to speak. | |

The Ranger looked to the pair of White Wolves, another warm smile blossomed upon his tanned face; He mused warmly to the pair of beats..
"Mmmh.. What have we here? Not one but two visitors.. And not even from my pack.." A hand extended, cupping the first of the pairs muzzle softly. A twinkle appeared in the mans forest green eyes, as he leaned forward and blew a soft puff of air affectionately at the canine. His gaze slowly roamed to the second, where he gave a little wink; Finding amusement in his own actions. - Fyra wrote:

At the sound of the soft chuffling, the mans eyes glinted yet again.
Planting both palms flat against the ground, he bridged his back and neck, so he could peer towards the noise. T'would look near foolish to most, exposing ones most vulnerable spots to a pair of great wolves that sat so near, but the man seemed calm to a fault. "Another guest.. No, two.." His upside-down feather-adorned head shifted to peer towards the feline.
"Forgive me for not noticing your steps sooner.. They are pleasantly light.." Again, his eyes roamed back to the elven figure. "Please, come sit; It is a beautiful day to share among friends.." - tjhyland wrote:

As Iwean and Roan approached, the man would extend them a bright smile as well. Offering them a seat as he did the last.

| Not having sat for long before hearing the newcomer's chuffing, both wolves turned slightly to regard the newcomer, noses twitching to sniff the air. While one remained casually reclined the smaller one, visibly male upon standing, turned to fully face the strangely scented pair. His eyes darted to the feline specifically, head lowering with an otherwise flat expression as he took a few small steps across the clifftop.
The larger one grumbled quietly, attention shifting to the male as he fussily came to a quick stop upon hearing the sound with eyes still glued to the feline and elf. Up close the lupine beast was lanky, his paws and head quite large and suitable for taking down oversized prey. His fur while white was faded and speckled with silver, hinting at his elderly age. Any simple deduction by one familiar with wild canines or even the Spine of the World would recognize this as one of the veritably powerful northern tundra wolves... a beast far away from their home. Similarly the one still prone looked very much the same, save for possessing eyes of silver as opposed to blue. (And if True Seeing is up, visibly it's a shapeshifted druid)
Both patiently regarded the newcomers and soon Iwean as well as he came up the slope, their forms otherwise motionless as if perhaps recognizing the second ranger.

| The feline, in response the the smaller wolf's movement, flattened her ears, beginning to growl, and quieting with a touch of Rhyn's fingers upon her head. Her eyes moved from wolf to Hawk, her eyes crinkling slightly in her smile as she dipped her head in greeting to him, before looking upon the larger of the wolves, head tilting slightly. There was something about those silver eyes, but one could never truly just assume. She looked back to the smaller of them, stepping closer to
Her hoarse rasp came, incongruent with the normal melody of her race, directed to the smaller of the two wolves. "If you leave her be, she will leave you be. I'm sure even an elder such as yourself can tolerate such. " Despite this, she keeps a wary eye out as she steps closer to the edge of the cliff, settling into a crouch near Hawk.
Her eyes turn to Iwean and his companion as they approach, and she says nothing, though she glances back towards the forest, as if debating leaving now. After all... Three had become five... which had swiftly become seven. This truly was an odd gathering.

| Roan is a Jet Black Panther very large his breed. His fur glistening in the light. At first He is a bit reluctant but see's his Companion, Iwean is comfortable he relaxes.
Iwean approaches slow and greets Hawk with an offered hand. He smiles friendly and familiar with everyone including (Fyra) and her companion. For those that know Iwean you can see the crazed look is gone. He has cleaned up and is somewhat presentable. "Greetings Hawk you seem to have picked a good spot for watching over the forest. May we join you?"

| As his gaze returned to gaze over the horizon he mused to Iwean idly.
"Of course, friend. Make yourself comfortable."
The man moved shortly after; Shifting the bow which glowed with life next to the Silver-Eyed wolf, he slowly stood. Carefully making his way next to the Canine which was fixated upon the Feline, Hawk began to scratch in between the Grey-Furred beasts ears.
"An Elder? You? Hardly! Still spry and young with many years before him. You'll out live me yet."
He spoke to the Tundra wolf, his eyes shimmering with merriment. As he glanced to the Feline, he might have ever so quickly stuck his tongue out, in a warm-hearted teasing fashion.
Hawk would then turn his attention around to the group upon the cliffs edge now. A trickling laugh burbling out.
"An odd group indeed.. Though one that I would never find displeasure upon seeing.. Isn't that right Silver-eyes?"
The question directed at the ever-sitting White Wolf.

| At the words of the elf the male wolf seemed to recognize her reasoning to a degree, but was discouraged only slightly as he was clearly stubborn in every right and proud of his display as he continued to stand in silence. The affection delivered by Hawkley to that sweet spot between the ears elicited an immediate leaning against the human with little consideration of his weight or strength. His gruff, arrogant demeanor was maintained, but he was content for the time being.
Meanwhile the larger wolf's ears swiveled, acknowledging the inquiry before their head followed suit, steady gaze meeting Hawkley's for a time as if to contemplate how best to respond. With a heaving groan they proceeded to roll, shifting back and legs to the side and eventually underneath so as to make room for any others that chose to sit at the cliff's edge. Visibly female was she as she lazily displaced part of the ranger's former spot. Perhaps he did not need as much room as her, despite how much effort was made to make her furry body more condensed.
The elder wolf took it upon himself to eventually break free of his stillness and the intoxicating scratches, inching forward to incline his large head towards the elf's face as his attention was diverted from the feline. His large, wet, black nose wriggled dangerously close to smooshing into her nose and mouth. It was a common wolf greeting, should one ever truly enjoy getting their teeth licked by carnivores.

| Rhyn watched silently, one hand resting upon the white tiger, who settled to sit beside her. She listened quietly, mostly to Hawk, as he seemed to be the one who spoke the most of them, and though her eyes scanned over Iwean, and appreciatively glanced over Roan, she remained focused mainly upon the wolf, who had not settled, despite Hawk's attention to him.
Her golden eyes raised as the tundra wolf came closer, his head, for the moment above hers. One hand settled the slightly disgruntled feline at her side, as she tilted her head slightly to accept the wolf's greeting. One hand raised tentatively, should he allow it, stroke his shoulder, careful to stay away from his throat. She grunted softly at him, allowing her full attention to be taken up, for this moment, by the introduction.

| Iwean watches the greeting with mild amusement and a slight smile. He quietly sits and surveys the gathering. "Its a pleasure to be with some many of a like mind." It can be seen Iwean is still not completely over what has been bothering him. | |

| The Ranger glanced to Iwean as he spoke- Nodding his head in agreement, he slowly made his way up to the now laying down wolf.
"That was my spot.."
The man grumbled, before he simply flopped down over the wolf. His body drapping over the furry-ones' like some sort of saddle.
"Gotch'a."
Was all he simply said, as he looked around to the others, head cocked to the side; a curious glint apparent in his green eyes.
