A letter is delivered to Tentacus keep

To whom it may concern.
Previous meetings with Wester Colt laid the foundation for a cooperation between our to guilds. Sire Colt has not been seen in a considerable time. I am writing to the present leadership of Tentacus to see if further discussion is still in order.

Sire Colt and I , Elektra Mysteria , discussed a range of possibilities , including trade , as well as provision of manpower to the town of Shadowdale for its protection , the establishment of protected trade routes, and alliance against aggressions on either keep.
There was even chat about tapping the spring waters on the hill north of town, to provide clean running water for the town.
I will gladly meet with you at either location to either end or continue discussions.

Greetings Headmistress Mysteria,

I received your letter in regards to cooperation between our two organizations. From the reports filled out by sir Colt such a venture seems to be mutually beneficial for all parts, and a meeting to revive these talks sounds like a good idea to further explore.

The meeting can take place either at our headquarter, or yours, what ever is the most convenient.

A return letter arrives :

Sir Senex,
  It is well to hear of the continued interest in our mutual beneficial exchanges.  Wester Colt had spoken of several things, how ever, you and i should begin again, as events and situations have changed.
   The simplest issues are goods and marketing.  We are on the northern roads that pass east to west and north to south. Certainly, we have a reasonable stopping point. . resting location and replenish site for travelors, hunters, mercenaries and such.  Being at the base of Krag Mountain could also provide us with an additional market draw.  As i understand it , Krag has only this one egress and they must import all they need. Surely any businessperson sees the opportunity.
   Deeper issues, in the past, involved Tentacus assuming a protective role of the town Shadowdale, and in cooperation with Misty Falls, there was discussion of us adding to the protection of the north wall, and the trade that would pass through to markets such as ours.

    As both of us are very involved in management , i suggest we keep the opening dialogue going in letters , until such time as we have a format to discuss in person.

Headmistress Mysteria,

to start with the simple things first. I am well aware of your location and the strategic position is has, though I am not certain what sort of products those facilities offers. Thus it would be of interest to us to get some pinpoints as to where in the landscape you are positioned, in regards to manufacturing.

First and foremost I would be most pleased if we could get the trade up running, and from that see how our partnership develops - though I am of a positive attitude. As of now, we are mainly looking to expand our import of goods like wine, ale, fruits, vegetables, grain and other edibles - though we are also open to discuss issues like metal, gemstones, and other crafting-materials.

As for security-cooperation, as far as i see it, will to some degree develop naturally as an extension of our trade-deals. The caravans will need protection, and I see it as self-evident that this task will be a joint venture. Through those regular encounters i believe the manpower from both organizations will get to know each other, and based on the degree of success in these operations we could further discuss closer coordination between our respective armed wings.

another letter arrives addressed to Sire Senex.

" As a follower of the Red Knight, strategy in all things, be it business, marketing, warfare, logistics , as well as landmarks, i feel it should be noted that both of our keeps sit adjacent to the same river.
   I see a potential for safe passage of goods using the waterways, which, to my present knowledge , are not plagued by bandits, or more properly said, pirates.  The cross roads between us has been a location of much trouble and conflict. I would prefer to avoid it if reasonable to do so.
   We have a number of bars located in our keep, a front bar, for general public use, a back bar for private meetings, a roof bar with the view of the falls, and the only Dalelands Sharess Fest Hall, which , with out saying is at least a bar.
    There is also a Battleporium, where folks test their skills, and yet, i believe that we could open up regular tournaments, including betting on fighting summons.
     All of these are outlets for consumable goods, such as food and wine, ale and grog, and specialty liquors.  I have found , often, that such environments open the coin purse to specialty purchases, such as weapons and armors, as well as other goods, scrolls, potions,enchanting opportunities.
    We also have our own enchanting lab if and when needed.

Headmistress Mysteria,

I wholeheartedly agree that we should see if we could use the river and make a waterway as this is not only more secure, but most likely a faster route as well we may bring more cargo pr each trip. Yet those will still need some sort of protection.

I understand you have many outlets to sell different products, though that is not exactly what i was wondering about. We do also have provide servings, though the issue i have in mind is what kind of supplies your organization could bring to the table, hence the question of what you produce - though what you have a regular stream of trade, and thereby available on a stable rate, is also of relevance.
