Most Esteemed Arch Mage of the Shadowdale Mage's Guild
Greetings,
I wish to meet with you or your representative to discuss events to which I have been incident regarding the phenomenon most generally referred to as the 'portal'.
I shall return to your guild hall daily for one week awaiting a reply. If by that time I do not hear anything, I shall assume that you are too busy or are not interested in anything I have to offer.

The next day when Annelise returns to the Mages Guild Hall, she finds Sage Gray's reply. She thinks a moment and writes a time and place she would like to meet.
