Salutations Good Thane and old friend,
It was a pleasure assisting you and your brethren with your troubles in the old tomb, even though I could tell some of your clan were rather uncomfortable with it. It was expected, so I took it in stride. I would have stuck around for the merriment to follow, but the battle had me quite exhausted and I had to return to my duties at the temple.
The purpose of this letter is to inquire on a matter I've heard about from a separate party about a certain Vhaeraunite that has been asking around for us. From what I've heard, you and some of your clanmates encountered this one at the Royal Oak Inn. Now, I heard one side of the story that seemed rather untrue, so I would like to hear your account on what happened, old friend. We never trust the intentions of Vhaeraunites but if this one is interested in leaving the path of the Masked Lord, then our High Priestess believes we should give him the benefit of the doubt and attempt to meet with him. I however would like to know your views on him beforehand.
