North of the Beastmen and just a little of the game path those passing will see signs of battle, flattened grass and broken arrows lie around the area.

Those with the skill will be able to tell four attacked one then three attacked another.

Those even without much skill can see where a fire was started and in all probablilty a body was burned.

After speaking with Falco and given the discription of the burnt body, Gode approaches the scene and with a very powerful spell tries to restore the body and bring it back to life.

"Please wake up Lael'min..."

Somewhere in the forest that night, an angry shout for justice echoed throughout the forest.

Arjay watches, sadly and silently, as Gode attempts to call back her spirit, to no avail. Then sadly, he puts his hand on her shoulder, staring at the burned patch of ground. "Those idiots," he sighs. "Corellon save us from the hell that will come of this."

"Blind hatred... ignorance... sadism... apathy to reason... some combination of those," he answered quietly, putting a comforting arm around her, his eyes still fixed on the patch of ground. "All things which we cannot afford to indulge in ourselves in the coming times."

And a Black Archer looks at a modified version of Lael'Min's sword, sliding it into his sheath at his belt.

Andra Nulentholen is quite visibly upset.

"None of them gives a damn when elves or humans are killed by the drow but let one drow be killed and they all are outraged. It's mind-boggling."

A berserker watches the scene of the attack with furrowed brow. A grim day it is when an ally is slain. He examines the battlefield, dealing with his feelings the only way he knows how: anger for the ones responsible.

Auryne tries to comfort Gode... trying to hold back her tears herself. She cant comprehend the blind hatred that some of our kin feel.

Whilst Alarice does not show any outward emotion she does grieve the loss of an ally and is wondering what turn of events lead to the death of Lael'min. The Shevrashans knew of the alliance and what it meant but equally she can understand the Shevrashan point of view from personal experience.

Bear makes a whining sound as it smells the burned scent of Lael'min. The long ranger at his side examines the place with expert eyes, and his face turns first red and then white. He pats his bear and whispers with a broken voice: "Yes Bear. Lael is dead." The bear growls and the ranger roars out his sorrow. The birds turn silent and the winds stops. The ranger sinks to the ground. This was his only friend ... "I will feed their balls to you Bear. I promise." Bear's tiny tail waggles in a sad but apprehensive way. "Their balls!"
