Being a Yath protects you when there are people around who care about the Yath. If for example you threaten someone who can kill you and isn't overly religious then they can just kill you and leave you there or raise you and there isn't much you can do IC wise because your memory has just been wiped.

Also in a lot of the Drow books and source guides if you are not strong enough to defend yourself against an attacker then you must not have been that favored of Lolth

he hates her but it is such becaue of the nautre of eivl.
dos could attempt to grip that but unless dos are evil you will never see the bond between evil entities. it dont have to make sence thats lawfull, your of course analising evil and corrupt entities on a higher plane then mortal or living life. if you want to discuss the bond between lolth and he that is one matter but if you want to discuss character interaction that is a seperate topic. the only middle ground is faith and while the faithful of the champion of lolth have their own perception surely they are allowed existance from the ruler of the demonweb herself lolth. do not make a logical or just arugment out of chaos and evil.
