Monk of the Sun Soul seen at the Orphanage

Of late, a bald headed monk with a golden circlet and a bronze amulet bearing the symbol of Lathander has been seen spending a lot of his time amongst the children at the orphanage. When asked, he identifies himself as Elijah, a monk from the Order of the Sun Soul. Apart from making a generous donation, he also states his intent to assist with the children's tutelage. "Teach a child in the way he should go", he says, "and the ravages of time shall not see them walk astray."

In the early mornings, he can be seen rallying the children (those who are keen) to gather at the open field next to the woods where he will line them up in neat rows. There he teaches the children basic strokes and simple bodily movements to still the mind, be in tune with one senses and surroundings, and learn to feel the movement of one's qi within. Over the days, a few children would drop out of these sessions but many remained, a profound look of focus and serenity etched upon their little faces.

In the late afternoons, Elijah would gather the children once more, teaching them very basic reading and writing, starting with their names. To the delight of the children, he usually rounds up each lesson with a parable and explains the principle behind the parable with a sagely glint in his eyes. "Do not begrudge the fate you've been dealt with or the circumstances around you", he says. "Choose instead to fan into flame the indomitable light within. And no gale shall extinguish it."

At the orphanage, a new helper can be seen for a few months now. She arrived with three just born half-elves babies and a bit weak, but she made herself useful in exchange for a roof on her and more importantly on her babies' head. The babies are two identical twin and a boy that ressemble a lot his sisters. Both three are extreamly awsome and cute.

The woman plays songs of hope and liberty to the children, she teach them to writte and read, help with the chores her best even if she is a bit weak of her hard labor. She's always smiling and entertaining, always open to any question or attention the orphan would require. She perform some minor spells to entertain them as well, and her cat seems to hate taken foundess of the children as well, and she likes to play cute and funny pranks on them. Looking after them as well.

Elijah receives the Coronal's note and unfurls the parchment across a table top. He reads it with lips unmoving, eyes gleaming and a half smile soon spreads slowly across his tanned face. He rolls up the parchment once more and very meticulously slips it into an ornate scroll case hidden amongst the folds of his robes.

Returning to his time with the orphans, today's lesson being Common Herbs of the Forest, he notices the presence of a few new arrivals at the orphanage - a lady minstrel whose cantrips are a delight with the children, and another known to him by the name of Kasia who seems to be engrossed with a child in a chess-like game using painted wood chips.
