A beige-colored letter is sent out to Commander of the refugees. The letter is designated to the leaders of the camp, written in deep red ink. Upon the sealed letter is the holy symbol of Sune - a commonly known symbol in practically all lands*

Quote :
To Commander Jesira,

My name is Attis Kostas and I'm a priest of Sune. I've moved from region to region, offering my help and support to whomever may need it the most. I've heard about your plight, the seeming endless onslaught of foes. But each time your people have survived. Your determination, endurance, and desire to see your fellow man and woman live another day, makes your people admirable in these hard times. So I'll not dishonor each of you by mere charity, but I do wish to offer my support.

As priest of Firehair, I offer to tend to your wounded and sick, I also offer to give lessons on medicine and treatment of wounds to whomever may desire to learn. I'll also ask other kind people to help support everyone within the camp, including bards to help people forget about their worries for a time. On top of that, I'll even be able to ask for Sune's blessings upon those within the region, to protect and help the you and the others. And should the need be so great, I can even supply minor enchanted items to help out - the first I'd be willing to do is attempt creating glow stones to illuminate the place.

In return, I ask permission to teach people of Sune. In doing so, I'll help remind people that despite how grim their lives may appear, there's much they can enjoy with each other. There's beauty in each person here, and around each one. When the depressed are reminded to love themselves, to take pride, they can better support this enduring community.

I'll return to hear your answer. May your gods watch over you, and Lady Firehair bless your heart.

Sincerely,
Attis Kostas – Heartwarder of Sune

After being informed he can't preach of Sune, Attis writes a letter - much in the same manner as he had the first time - and drops it off at the fort for the Commander to read.

Quote :
Dear Commander Jesira

While I can understand your concern about the possible friction this may create for the camp, I feel I must defend my desires and bring up points which I feel not all are aware. Sune doesn't support wanton violence by us. Sune's true enemies are few, as she has earned respect and holds temples from Waterdeep, to the center of Thay. We support beauty and love, and the passion of an individual - few hold hatred towards such ideals, from commoner to lord, from Banite to Tormtar, we're accepted almost everywhere due to the three things each person has held an interest at some point in life. Where others may focus on hate, cruelty, domination, extortion, war, or general conflict, we support none of that - if you're worried this may lead to problems with other groups.

The only real enemies of Sune happen to be the Deities of Furies. These deities being: Auril, goddess of unnatural frosts and enjoyment of freezing or extorting others; Talos, wanton destruction and thrill for it; Malar, the hunting of intelligent beings for the pleasure of it; Umberlee, goddess of ocean currents, known for extorting sailors. These deities of destruction and wanton chaos that would consider this camp little more than enemies, or people to steal from - with or without my efforts or speaking here. But even then, I don't openly preach of violence towards them and encourage more productive aspects of life.

Further more, we're not concerned with politics, as opposed to most faiths, and will come into very little confrontation with followers of other gods. Which is why we have temples or at least shrines in practically every state, from minor to major nations. Even in nations that some groups insist we should be opposed to.

Please, I ask of you to reconsider your stance. To at least allow those of us that follow the deities that wish to support the improvement of a region, unlike those usually focused on politics or conflicts with your neighbors.

Sincerely,
Attis - priest of Lady Firehair
