A local peasant girl was tasked with giving a letter to the first Red Wizard she saw:

I have a possible business venture I wish to discuss with your enclave here in Shadowdale. Tsoth, or whomever currently leads the amiable Red Wizards, please seek me out at first oppurtunity. This of course is of a personal nature -- outside my duties of the Zhentarim, but I'm sure the Enclave will be well pleased at the prospect of coin that I offer.

Red Wizard Salintar Ustar read the letter and ask girl to tell Vanguard to meet with him.He told adress of his apartments in Shadowdale
