| Subject: Letter to Wuuq... Tue Jan 03, 2012 2:27 pm | |
| A child of no more than nine or ten years would hesitantly walk up to the Zhentarim officer at the barracks early in the morning. He would have over a letter to the officer before scampering off. The letter is sealed with wax, but there's no insignia in it. It is addressed to Imperceptor Wuuq and the Church of Bane, and it is signed by Galatea on the front. - Spoiler:
Imperceptor Wuuq:
You may remember me, but it has been a long time, so you may not. I am Lizbeth Imien Vecia, generally known as Liv, friend to the on-and-off criminal Thomas Grimm and the private detective Wakefield. I wanted to bring you up to speed on an incident that has happened that needs clarification.
One of the priestesses of the holy Church of Bane has decided to attack me because during Bane's most holy hour, I did not offer a prayer to the Black Hand. As it is well known that I respect, but do not worship, the dark lord, I am rather miffed that this assault results in my punishment when I defended myself.
The situation went as follows: the priestess prayed at midnight, on the hour, as I continued to speak with the gathering of individuals at the campfire, including a man named Alaric, if you would like a witness. She chose me, out of the group, to berate and scold for not offering prayers or silence for the Black Hand. When I told her I did not worship, she dragged me behind the temple, where she tried to force me to kneel and beg forgiveness and worship her, as she claimed to be the incarnation of Bane.
At her side was a blond woman whose name I've learned is Noria. She, too, attacked me. They began casting on me, whereas I invoked a few invocations of protection - and it is fully known that I am a pact mage. Afterwards, the priestess decided that she was to get her justice and vengeance and began to try casting on me; so I interrupted her spells until she backed off, and then I fled town to write this note.
I will admit that I insulted her, for having the audacity to compare herself to the Black Hand, but I am requesting that you discipline this woman - who I have just learned is named Felonas. If you see fit to do so, please let me know if I might have my exile lifted once more. Considering my hatred for the elves, you can find me in either the Free Haven arena or, more likely, the Royal Oak premise.

| ((Just gonna assume this letter finds its way to Malik, as Wuuq is no longer among us and Malik is now the next in rank of the clergy and deal with it, is that okay?)) | |

| (( Yes, go ahead! I know Wuuq left; Liv does not, however. She just came back from her self-imposed hiatus, so she's still adjusting. )) | |

| Malik apparently took care of this too, as the letter found its way to him as the former Imperceptor Jhaashmaug is no longer among the clergy of the Dread Lord in Shadowdale. | |
