Advice to all citizens

We ask to all citizens to seek shelter inside their houses at the last sun rays, and specially considering the temperature fall, stay well covered. Special atention to the children, they are to be safe inside at the begining of night fall, this is a necessary precaution too since not long ago children were kidnap. The guards are instructed to help conduct people back to their homes at nightfall, we ask all to cooperate with their duty.
Those who decide to remain outside will do for their own risk, and are suggested to stay in groups.

Necromancer in the Forest

Should you move into the beastmen forest be careful as recent reports of a Necromancer has been heard. He has attacked several in the area. I suggest you travel in groups and if you spot a necromancer in the woods to come inform us immediately. If we are not able to respond know that you might not with to fight him alone. I will patrol the area myself more frequently.

Ice Witch Defeated

A patrol of the Akh'Velahr met the Ice Witch May'katcha on the road to the cold mountains. Too long she and her friends are threatening and attacking travelers who walk along this road. Yesterday the Akh'Velahr defeated her and we hope that this taught her and her allies an important lesson.

Eclipse

A few days ago there was an eclipse and the Coronal herself had a vision. Many citizen gathered in the temple of the Seldarine to her the vision of her grace. Four of the Seldarine want us to pass their trials. Corellon Larethian's trial was the trial of courage. The strongest kin present shall fight the oldest protector of the temple: The Coronal's father. Two brave fighters lost before the keeper managed to defeat him and pass the first trial.
The second trial was the one of the trickster, Erevan Ilesere. The Akh'Velahr and several helpful and brave citizen walked to the old ruins of the city and cleaned it of Nilshai who entered the area through a portal hidden in a temple. Once again our keeper passed this trial by closing the portal showing her great faith in the trickster god.
The next two trials, the trials of Sehanine Moonbow and Aerdrie Faenya are still to come and we look forward which trials await us to show our great faith in the Seldarine.

Eclipse 2

The trials of Sehanine Moonbow and Aerdrie Faenya have been passed now, again thanks to the help of the Akh'Velahr and other brave citizen of the city. Sehanine's trial lead us to the Vale of Lost Voices where we faced several challenges and met old heroes of the people. In the end a new ally joined us as a protector of the temple of the Seldarine: A powerful Baelnorn.
Aerdrie's challenge had to do with an evil Fey'ri who possessed the winds and troubled the forest near the Moonbow camp. The winged elves called Avariels were her aim but she was fought off and fled. She won't get away with this though and will receive her deserved punishment. Please citizen welcome the group of Avariel elves who will come to the city soon and give them a warm welcome!

Orc Camps Destroyed

Two camps of the Zau'Kamab orc clan have been destroyed by the Akh'Velahr and one helpful friend. One camp was located in the woods and one in the Dagger Hills but they couldn't stand against the strong forces of Myth Drannor!

End Of The Zau'Kamab Demon Pacters

The orc tribe which dealt with Demons and Devils especially Aulmpiter was destroyed yesterday! The Akh'Velahr and some of the strongest allies in these lands went on a extremely and dangerous mission to the source of the evil orcs. It has cost them power, effort and blood but in the end the orcs were defeated and their leader slain.

Essence Gathering Efforts Show The First Success

As many of you know the Akh'Velahr is gathering 100 glowing essences of each sort for a great project to improve the cities defenses. With a lot of work and the help of many people who donated and helped 100 glowing fire and energy essences were gathered now. Earth, water and air essences are still needed. We thank everyone who helped us to reach our first goal and we hope for help to reach our last one.

Murder In The Temple

Yesterday people could witness great disturbances in the city. A sudden darkness, earthquakes and people who seemed to have lost their minds. We advice all citizen who witnessed anything of this not to panic. Investigations are going on and we will do our best that no greater damage will be dealt to the city.

These disturbances have been used as a distraction for someone to enter the temple and attempt an assassination of an important ally of the city. If the murder was successful is still unclear. The assassin obviously was a human male in dark robes with a great sword. He could walk the city freely without raising any suspicion by most guards. If anyone saw such a person in the city yesterday please report to the Akh'Velahr. We thank everyone in advance who can give helpful information in this matter.

Dhaerow Raids

People of Myth Drannor, you might have heard already that the dhaerow were raiding caravans on the roads around Myth Drannor and further. The Akh'Velahr and allies patrolled the surroundings and killed each dhaerow they could find. We will keep patrolling the area but advise everyone who travels outside the city to be extremely cautious and to not go alone.

A Caravan From Sembia Safely Escorted

The Akh'Velahr lead by our keeper lady Auryne and several helpful allies and volunteers who either wanted to help Myth Drannor or just kill drow managed to escort a caravan from Sembia with supplies for our city safely. Countless drow and their demonic allies were killed and their corpses covered the path as an ultimate proof of our victory.

Stormy Weather

People of Myth Drannor, you might have noticed a sudden and dangerous storm which raged especially around the refugee camp yesterday. It was no natural storm and we are investigating the case. We advise all the citizen, refugees and visitors to be careful and make the necessary arrangements to protect yourselves from another storm. It might be back in the next days. If you need help please ask the guards or the Akh'Velahr.

Undead

Masses of undead have been sighted around the lands recently. All travelers should watch out and avoid to travel alone. Try to always have some holy water with you and please report any undead activity to the Akh'Velahr.

Many legions of undeads advanced attempting to breach the gates of Myth Drannor, to fall in great numbers at the strong defense of the Akh'Velahr forces and several volunteers. The tainted legions were persecuted and few were able to escape, their army almost all decimated, and even a sickening rain that stole the strenght and healthy of the living wasn't able to stop our united forces.

Murdering Drow

Two have been slain by a female drow's hand along the river's path, though she was mildly wounded after the second slaying before departing towards North Ride. The drow would be described as tall for her kind with white hair and red eyes, and was witnessed carrying a shield and sword.
Be wary of your steps at night.

The Mythal Restored!

People of Myth Drannor! We are more than happy to announce that the mythal of our beloved city finally was restored. Two days ago the casting of a powerful spell could be felt all around the Cormanthor and hordes of drow and orcs stormed towards and inside the refugee camp of the city in a last desperate attempt to stop our dream to come true. But if our Coronal Ilsevele Miritar decides to cast a spell of the highest form of magic then she will do so and no horde of enemies will prevent it to happen. Praise the Coronal and the most powerful mages of Myth Drannor especially our high mage Araevin!

The Akh'Velahr and several volunteers fought bravely this day willing to sacrifice their lives to make this dream come true. Years of hard work and the great collecting of essences paid off this day and the people of Myth Drannor were rewarded.
No drow, no orcs, no lord of filth and his demons, no dracolich with his undead and no vampires will set foot into our city!

Celebrate this day as one of the most important days in Myth Drannor's history and thank everyone who helped to make this come true!

The Vale Of Lost Voices

Citizen of Myth Drannor this announcement serves as a reminder to those who are not familiar with the elven history and the ancient places in and around Myth Drannor such as the Vale of Lost Voices. We ask everyone to leave this place in peace and do not harm the ghosts there even if they appear hostile. The Vale is a sacred place and should be treated as such together with the ghosts who reside there. If you kill the ghosts, rob the tombs or defile them in any other way you are breaking at least one of the following laws:

3rd Stanza: Offenses against the Gods, Holy Places and Clergy:
Chorus 7, Damage or desecration of temples, sacred and holy sites
Punishment: F, E, D, C

4th Stanza: Offenses Against the People:
Chorus 13, Tomb Robbery
Punishment: E, D

Zhentarim Claiming The Fox Ridge

Everyone who travels through the Fox Ridge should be very careful. Odd creatures have been seen there and Zhentarim are claiming it for themselves by killing anyone they suspect of being a rebel which includes people from Myth Drannor. If you see any strange happenings there please try to inform the Akh'Velahr as soon as possible.

Leaders Gone

We are sad to announce that the Armathor Fflar, the keeper Auryne and the arms-major Tay'lin left Myth Drannor for an indefinite of time. Therefor their offices are currently vacant. There is no reason to worry too much though. The Akh'Velahr will continue to do their duty and ensure that Myth Drannor remains the safe place it was before and still is. Any issue which should be directed to any of the three missing ones should be directed to the Coronal directly, to arms captain Karovir Allamandar or to spell captain Nadin Moonbold.
We hope that our missing leaders will return and/or that their future replacements will honor them by doing an excellent job.

Mine Collapse And The End Of The Royal Oak Inn

Last night the Zhentarim attacked the mines of the Ironhouse Halls. Instead of facing the dwarves and fighting like men they decided to collapse the mines cowardly avoiding any kind of confrontation. How exactly they did it is unclear so far but we are working on finding it out.
The Zhentarim also burned down the Royal Oak Inn leaving nothing behind which can be repaired. We want to warn any citizen or visitor who planned to visit it in the nearest future. It is unclear here as well how they managed to burn down Ironwood but our elven mages will try to find it out as well.
Our allies the Ironhouse dwarves will have our support and we should all pray for the innocent people who have died in the Inn or are trapped in the mines.

For occasion of an invasion of increasing numbers of drow in the Starwood forest, the area is curently unsafe and all our citizens should avoid to walk or travel there, specially at night. The valiant troops of the Akh'Velahr are facing the enemy to make Cormanthor a more safe place each passing day.

Cursed Rings

Recently there has been an outbreak of cursed rings attached to the undead loving devil prince. We offer this knowledge to not take rings from random strangers and advise it against those you care for. Be careful, we Akh'Velar will do what we can to ease this transition.

Hunting groups of the zhentarim are actively kidnapping people they judge associated with Myth Drannor, needless say their judgement has its own reasons that go beyond any goodness and serve only to feed their greed and evil ways, where torture and tyranny are above any right for freedom and a fair treatment. Myth Drannor army will protect you in the City of Songs, just beware walking in wilds where our army is not present, as we have this new threat besides the drow.

Banished for two days

A young man who thought he can speak poorly of the Harvestmistress Julia's speech and then insult an official of Myth Drannor repeatedly despite several warnings is banished from Myth Drannor for two days from now on.
