PostSubject: A Warning to all   A Warning to all EmptyWed Jun 20, 2012 7:36 am

Let it be know to all who read this that the half-drow woman known as Helen Redman, sometimes called Songbird, is a known Baneite. She is a willing and loyal servant of the Sergeant Fidheliss Unterminox - Commanding Officer of the Zhentilar. She uses the compassion of others to manipulate her way into the company of those she intends to take advangae of. Be warned she only has the interests of her master and God in her heart. She has fallen to the dark ways of the drow kin. Do not fall prey to this monster with a pleasent voice!

*included is a discription of her, her normal black clothing, as well as the grey clothing she is know to wear*

*someone scribbled a small note on the bottom of the parchment*

There is very little one can do, when the bridges are burning on the other side.

"That is... unfortunate." *Shakes head and continues towards the north ride*

Jonathan Grimes having noticed the attachment places a response below it...

Does the Rebellion and it's allies seek to discredit the name of others through rumors and speculation continually? Starting a propaganda campaign full of speculation and lies? If Helen is truly a Banite, there are few who can say they would prefer the company of an "Elf" that that of Helen. The last encounter I had in Myth Drannor I was jailed under false pretenses and the friend I was sharing tea with was banned from the city...

Mostly abiding her master's will, Helen has not visited the Oak for a few days, nor has she yet heard rumour of this message.

Anadra reads this and asks:

Who is this drow-lover and what does he seek to gain by spreading lies about Myth Drannor or the rebels?

Anyone who would prefer to spend time with drow and banites deserves to live in Shadowdale under the thumb of the zhents.

This is not speculation or rumor but fact as freely admitted to by Helen herself. You are free to believe this or not. You have been warned of her allegiance. If you would prefer the company of those who practice slavery, necromancy, torture, murder, and theft from hard working honest Dalelands then talk to an elf; by all means enjoy you stay in Shadowdale.

Lan would look at the note, and laugh so he chokes on his pipe

"...fools...."

he finally mutters when he have managed to recompose him self, before he blows a smooth ring of smoke and turns to walk away.

the old man looks at the notice and smiles " looks like strife and discord are taking root without our help, maybe the fools will get on with killing each other" the old man smiles a sinister grin and dreams of this wonderful thought of continuing discord and strife amongst the enemies of his dark faith.

Finally finding out about it, it takes Helen quite some time to believe that it really was Valtore who wrote this. She reads over and over the copy in his handwriting that she received, first rejecting it as real.

She moves to a bench, sits. After a while, gets up and moving as unobtrusively as ever slips away to a place where she shouldn't really be, just outside Shadowdale lands. To a place she has long loved, near running water and lilies and unkempt grasslands. There she reads the letters again and believes them real.

Though she will never forget the nights under the stars discussing poetry and history with him, the laughter, she weeps and weeps until at last there are no tears left and she has accepted Valtore's decision. The third time he had betrayed her privacy and endangered her. Deep within her breast a stifled spark of anger bursts into veiled red life. She tries to remind herself that she had always been rebuffed in the years she had spent growing up and so it was meant to be. There had been real friendship and liking and an Oath between them, and the times discussing Illifarn history, literature and the Kin; a small oasis of life-giving friendship even while almost all the rest of the time she was serving men whom, she was still dimly aware in her slide downhill, were evil.

But she will never understand the venom in the private note he sent her, nor in this public attempt to have her hunted down. Even then he had held back from some things that would have hurt her deeply, but this was more than bad enough. She had trusted him, forgiven him previous betrayals, been friends with him. This - she did not really understand where it came from or why he was so poisonous. But so he was, and so it would be. She would have to be triply careful now when she travelled outside Shadowdale.

She folds the letters to be stored permanently and walks slowly back into the environs of the town.

Freehaven. The Note there is seen by the Shadow Puppet player, ShadowKyss.

A Warning to all Helen1

So It was true, Kalin was right about Songbird. But ShadowKyss was not at all that suppriced. Just the sudden open message to all shocked her, and she lets one of her shadows make a face of supprice and shock.

Then she rips the note off the noteboard, and wanders to the Campfire, note held firmly in her white gloved hand.

A Warning to all Helen2

As ShadowKyss slowly tears the paper down in four parts to be thrown in the fire, she sings a short song to the Dancer she knows as Songbird.

I know places we can go, bird.
I know places we can hide, bird.
Where things wont bring you down, bird.
No, the highs won't hurt you there, bird.

The fire burns brightly for a moment, as ShadowKyss observes the note burning.

A Warning to all Helen3

There was once a time She and Kalin would go after the heavily robes woman, Songbird. But many things have changed. The opinion of ShadowKyss, herself constantly on the run as well, has changed.
And she whispers.

"There are enough witchhunts allready. I hope you are allright Songbird. Do not be ashamed of your blood, yet..

Cherish it."
