The Silence of Tunnels

It has been cycles since any assult had been made agienst the camp, cycles since that acused Death Lord had been sighted, apart from the event with a strange mirror nothing else as really happened, just what was the Whores army upto. Had they finally withdrawn their troops to their outlining outposts, had then just given up on the camp in favor of somthing else?

For some this proves to be a time of peace, well, as peaceful as one can have in a Illythiiri encampment. the Orphans to which the Yath keep well hidden within their halls are actually allowed out for a lesson or two under the watchful gaze of any Yathrin or yath'taller that could be bothered with them and the Yath'abbans.

The merchents seemed to be restocking on suplies, and for the first time in a long time decent food is brought into the camp fore sale, finally somthing other that vithing beetle meat!

Is anyone doing anything speacial in this time of respite?

Mi'reli would probably take this time to assign a yathrin to teach the youngers wether she wanted to or not.
She herself would then idle around watching the yathrin teach

Adun'url would use this time to train his body and proves, he would also patrol the tunnels to the portal and back from time to time, if one from the yath or from his quellar sought a bodyguard he would provide.

He would be seen coversing with a jaluk called Zin now and then, seemingly looked like Zin was teaching Adun'url.

Yath'abban Feanora would also view the teachings of any Yathrin of the orphans with interest and the aptitude of the orphans as well

If there was any need she would offer assistance to Yath'taller Mi'reli for any related tasks

She would also ask some questions of any Yathrin, Sargtlin or Scouts present of previous reports of undead activity and Whores Army activity to build up a picture of previous activity. She would mark activity on her large map of known local areas and put together several graphs to see if there are any patterns.

She would check with camp patrols and guards that no relaxing in vigilance was being made at this time.

She would also like to know exactly where the Whores army's outlying posts are and will question any available scouts or similar on their location

Naralad does his drill: maintance on weapons and armor, overseeing of his rothe and testing of his new one, inspects and inquires the new sargtlin recruits and initiates. By the end of the cycle he sits by the camp fire for reverie, wondering if the Ilharesses and Yaths realize that udos have only three cycles to bring the sacrifices and please malla Lolth now.

Rumors may spread of yath’tallar Ala Zau’Afin entering and leaving camp with some frequency. The accounts on Ala’s entourage vary at times with a mix of shebali, camp yath, and Zau’Afin forces small and large.

Periodically a diminutive female Drow in Zau'afin colours stalks into the camp, stopping only briefly to hold short conversations, either in hushed tones or drowsign, with the Yath'tallar or Ilharess d'Zau'afin and issue orders to junior Zau'afin scouts. Other than short conversations with the Zau'afin Sutrinos and resupplying she otherwise spends little time about the camp - although on occasion she would approach the Yath'abban Feanora with a curt report on some Revenancer outpost or patrol, however it is apparent that the information offered is at least partially incomplete. Those with sharp ears or eyes observing her brief conversations with the Zau'afin leadership might note more mention of Orcs and less of Undead than might be expected.

Jarzyr like a spider is watching, waiting, and always up to for some good opportunity... But this awkward silence seems to bore him a bit. So most of the time he is patrolling the surrounding tunnels in order to keep on level of his abilities...

A Yath'sargltin walks out, rolling her black plated shoulds she snarls to any none Yath that would look at her, opening up a scroll she would then cry out.

"HERE YE HERE YE! THE MALLA ULATH'TALLER HERE BY SUMMONS DEMO'LOTH ZAU'AFIN THE BLADETERROR TO THE YATH, HE HAS TWENTY FOUR HOURS TO COMPLIE OR ELSE INSERT HORRIBLE THINGS HERE!"

Nodding pleased with herself the pink haired angry looking Yath'sartlin wonders back to the yath, randomly stabing a gol on the way past and throwing a bag of gold to the Rothe Mistress.

Demo'loth can be found in camp, silently watching and keeping Za'nara occupied with menial tasks. He still has strong protective shroud over her, even in her current state. Seen speaking with the camps residents off and on, he seems displaced after his unexpected return after the Elon'us event.

Standing in the camp and speaking with Naralad. Demo would hear the summons, casting a single ward upon himself before bidding farewell to his abbil and trudging to the Yath.

Killian seems rather satisfied from the silence at the tunnels lately, he finds the time to return to his drills and patrols a thing he have missed much lately, his patrols paths are usually around the Azatar caves and the depleted mines checking the number of undead, remaining vigiliant in general and thinking and trying new ways every cycle against the undead to find the best way to fight them when the time comes.

After Demo'loth leaves the Yath, about an hour later another Yath'sartlin would come out and cry out. "HERE YE HERE YE, THE ULATH'TALLER HERE BY SUMMONS NARALAD ZAU'AFIN TO THE YATH, AS WELL AS ILLHARESS ZAU'AFIN AND THE ZAU'AFIN YATH'TALLER" After that she would turn heel and wonder off to perform her duties.

The Young Yath'abban who had just recently cryed out the announcement looks up to nanga, she was a small ting looking like she had only just recently entered the Yath'Sargtlin ranks. Apart from being young looking and tiney standing at four foot nine, she was dressed in leathers instead of plate like most of the other yathsargtlin, by her side was a rapiar and bullwhip, and lastly one of the more odder features where her eyes, her left a nromal red, her right purple.

She would whisper too nanga"Um... Usstan dont know, only thing usstan know was that the Malla Judicator.. " she says his title in a dreamy voice, clearly a fan of his. "well, he went in they spoke and then he left with the sound of the Ulath'taller laughing as he went, um... perhaps asking him?"

Nanga purrs softly to the young Yath'abban...mhmm The Judicator is a handsome Jaluk nau? Usstan am curious if he...her voice fades away as Nanga gently teases the younger Jalil about males in general and their uses...

The younge Yath'sargtlin would blush a feice purple and fidgit as Nanga did her thing in the way only she could.

It is a shame the Yath'sargtlin with the pink hair nau longer hurts ussta ears.... at least who ever dealt with her has taken her pretty little face with them. It would seem usstan was naut the only one offended by its tongue.. but what can one expect when they take a Yath'sargtlin from the City of Faern.

As the cycles of Silence stretch into a week of inactivity the guards seem to becoming oddly more on edge and jumpy, and who can blame them after almost the entirety of the guards outside of the camp died to an unknown assasin, those who have been seeking answers in the trade city seem to be chaising a shadow, each new lead ending in a dead end, for the one in the orb tunnels you have managed to locate the Orc War Chief but whenever you try to get close his Shaman always seems to keep him one step ahead of you!

One thing that might be interesting in the rumor mill is apparently the Aazar have been sending out scoutes into the dead mines, also in other news the Ulath'Tallar seems to have been calling members of House Zau'afin to her personal chambers for whatever reasons. The guards in camp can often be heard talking about Demoloth with hints of dear and respect in their voices as they retell the take of how he charged the being that manifested in camp, also the topic of the week for the guards and merchants seem to be the houses themselves rumors and speculation is that the Ulath'Taller in her normal whimsical way is planning something, perhaps a promotion, perhaps a shuffle, perhaps the disbanding/extermination of a house!

Also the young Yathsargtlin who seems to of become the camps cryer walls into the middle of the camp and announces. "HERE YE HERE YE, THE MALLAED ULATH'TALLAR WILL BE HOLDING A CAMP MOOT IN SIX HOURS AND DEMANDS TRIBUTE IN THE FORM OF A GIFT FROM EVERYONE, A GREAT REWARD WILL BE GIVEN TO THE ONE THAT PLEASES HER GREATNESS THE MOST! LOLTH TULU MALLA!"
