A Darkness Prevails

Somewhere in a forest affected by darkness, almost fully warded Archspirit is trying to stop spreading and remove dark clouds of negative energy. When a zombie attacks him, with almost no effort Archspirit slays it down with his halberd. But as he sees bigger group of undead nearby, he removes all his clothes. His all naked skin changes into wood, his hair into grass and leaves, he takes templates of wood spirit, he would appear "dryad alike" but in male form, and he leans against a tree to camouflage himself. As the undead group makes their way towards Lyons Forest and passes Archspirit, from behind he separates from the tree and roars at them with his magical voice. It instantly starts slaying down the zombies as soon they were affected by this magical roar, and then a few only remains to stand. Archspirit grips his halberd and charges at them cutting their body parts and flesh with his weapon empowered with magic of nature. "You fail to realize that warriors of Forest Queen will not be easily defeated!" And then he finishes the last zombie of that group. His eyes wide as sound of giant great axe cuts through the air behind him. He quickly rolls on the ground and escapes hit that could be very dangerous, then looks at the foe. The axe ends cutting down a tree on half. It is a big undead two head troll with huge weapon. It slowly approaches Archspirit to attack him again. Archspirit roars again magical roar in troll's direction, but it only slows down the troll for a few seconds, and it seems it has no other effect. The troll continues to approach towards Archspirit and raises his great axe for attack. Archspirit charges very fast with speed of a cat towards troll's legs and makes few cuts, but it barley makes scratch to the troll. Troll simply kicks him away with one of his giant legs and sends him flying 15-20 meters into a tree. Archspirit falls on the ground and halberd drops next to him. He attempts to get up but falls on the ground again. He whispers some spell on sylvan and healing start to recover him. But shadow of the troll already covers Archspirit as the troll gets close and again raises his giant great axe to attack still not recovered Archspirit.

Two shurikens stab in troll's faces. Maya stands on a branch in a tree not so far from the troll. She takes out two more shurikens from her hair and plants each one in each troll's face to stop his attack. While her range hits were not even close to have damage effect, it was enough to distract the troll freak on her away from her brother. She jumps from one tree's branch to another with two flips in air and takes out katana from her back, then does one of east poses too while waiting for the troll. The troll turns towards her and swings with his big arm to hit her. She jumps from the branch already expecting this move as she can foresee flashes of the future, and she lands on troll's arm holding her balance by diving her katana into the trolls arm. When she captures the balance she pulls out the katana and runs over troll's arm towards their ugly faces. She does another jump and grabs nose on one troll's head and rotates around it like a fan, a full circle, cutting off the nose of second troll's head and ending up on first troll's head on the top. Maya then slips down the neck of the troll and dives her katana into it's spine while she continues slipping down on troll's back, and then jumps of with another double flip into air, landing with attractive pose behind troll that losses it's balance and falls on the ground, making slight ground shake. Maya holds her katana that glows with Zatarox's power and together combined in use of Tanaimutsu teachings, this troll did not know what found him. She cleans her katana that stops glowing and puts it away on her back. Then she reads orb of acid scroll and finishes the troll freak. With cat walk she approaches her wood brother. "Leo, this is me third time saving your life this month. You should not call yourself Archspirit." She offers him hand to stand up.

Leo stands up with his sister's help, his healing magic already recovered him during Maya's battle against undead troll. "It is two times sister ... that time in Midwoods does not count." He picks up his halberd and looks at Maya. "I fear there is little we can do, this land is damaged heavily. I was able only to slow down this darkness progress, but it is only matter of time, and I do not know if we will have enough. This darkness will lure night hags activity as well, like we did not have enough troubles with them during nights already. At least there was no activity of these terrible dragons in this area, Xatimus said. But even his sight has the limit and we must prepare for what is yet to come. Go now pass the warning to Greenhoof tribe, centaurs maybe already felt the presence but we cannot afford that risk to not check up with them. Sywyn said that the Greenleaf survivor left these forests and arrived in City of Song, she will be safer there I hope but I doubt she will be capable to blend in with city elves. And I will walk different path, towards direction of Dnylis tree. I spotted a group of undead heading that direction, I cannot let them reach the ancient tree." He summons earth spirit to help him against undead, it raises from the ground and follows Leo as he departs from his sister. "May horn of unicorn lights your path."

If the disjunction was able to remove not his spells only but also his instant feat activated abilities and turn his wood skin back to human one, Leo would simply activate them instantly again re-wooding himself again along with his instant Lion's Swiftness and quickly move away among the trees to block the sight of the dark figure that can cast spells, avoiding to be targeted. The first spell he recited now was death ward, to protect himself from dark clouds that appear in the forest. He knew now that he cannot defeat them all alone, but at least they were stupid enough to follow and seprate from the horde to make the horde itself weaker. Should they continue after Leo, he would simply lead them outside of forest, away from dark clouds and shadows of trees onto the clean meadow where sun is strong, and where he would cast bombardment upon numerous undead. Maya cloaks herself within invisibility and flees the scene unseen to not be followed. She stops to see will her brother be alright, watching from safe distance as long her sight could reach. "I hope you know what you are doing brother. Centaurs now have better chance to disappear. I will pass the message. But I might not be able to save you this time."

OOC: Before I get another tells invasion in game by players with questions why did I edit my post with deleting my RP and putting that it's non existent on server, I'll say here so I don't have to repeat myself ten times in game again. I don't know who edited my post, deleted my RP and why Lyons lore was pushed this time away when it was affected by the darkness but I would like a PM from editing person so I can understand. I can only add that centaurs on server exist as much as sky mages that fly on dragons. We pretend for beauty of RP that it's there so I did not do anything that was not already allowed on server.

RP: After sending the message Maya moved to the circle where she later found out about Mahalion call for cleansing operation. In search for him in City of Song she found Nadin and told him to warn Ironhouse because Rimwoods can be soon affected as well by this darkness and because of bad relationship Maya could not go there to warn them herself. Then she quickly made her way back to find her brother Leo.

Spirit of the Land comes to aid Leo against the undead that separates from main horde that charges after Leo. But still their number is overwhelming. Leo feels little relief when he does not see the dark figure that casts spells as it stood among the horde and did not charge. "Hmm, could that be the leader of the horde since he did not follow?" He keeps the distance from numerous undead and would attempt to slay any with his heavy enchanted halberd that would separate from group while telthor dire wolf covers him. Leo turns to wolf spirit "They are still in great number even if they are separated from horde, we cannot defeat them all alone. You need to go and bring some help while I hold them off. If we defeat even this small number of undead comparing to entire horde, we will be one step closer to victory. Go now, and do not forget to bring my hat." Leo sends his wolf spirit friend to bring help (to anyone who is in woods that wants to join Leo in battle and can understand message of telthor) and then his thoughts escape for a moment to his wife and the children she is carrying. He places halberd on his back and casts spell between him and undead that grows roots from the ground to slow undead down and then calls for earth spirit again. It raises from the ground next to Leo. Leo moves to its shoulder while it was still on low height and together raises high above undead sitting next to earth spirit's head. He gently places hand on earth spirit's head and whispers. "Keep the distance between us and them and slam away if some of them reaches us until the help arrives." Gemstones eyes of earth elemental start to glow and burn hostile towards the undead with fury of elemental spirit. As the earth spirit starts moving away from charging undead, carrying Leo along, Leo raises on his legs, obviously does not have problem to stand on difficult terrain because he is highly skilled in survival, and takes bow and arrows from his back, shooting them at the undead beneath him that follow and from time to time wards himself with spells of nature, waiting for any help to arrive as he holds them off.
