A Mystery - Shadowdale

An odd rumor spreads about, it seem there have been tracks, signs of passage and whispered rumors of dark elves in the northern dales. No one has disappeared, no bodies have been found, and yet those who live in the shady places, black markets and blighted wilds persist in the rumor that the dark elves move about

What could this mean? And how will others react?

During a group's endeavors of descending into the old kobold mines in Shadowdale's Northern Vales, a pair of silver eyes would peek out from the trees, approaching the farm area briefly in unproven forms before departing as quickly as they arrived.

After the Zhentrum officers went into the kobold caves with the unknown masked individuals, they then returned to the surface about an hour later.

It seems that an halfling had attempted to slip in and eaves drop on whatever it was that was going on, only to be captured, for when the Zhentrum came out of the kobold caves, they were dragging his unconscious body off to jail.

What happened during the meeting, and what was exchanged remains a mystery . . .
