A cloaked elf at the boatman

Nods a bit. T' be honest.. things are seldom just.. over.. N' when they are.. some new.. Hrmm thing.. seems t' take over. Grumbles. Lets face it.. its just a weird world we live in. N' we seems t' be just pawns in a greater game. Sighs a bit. Not sure thats what ya wanted t' hear but.. shrugs a bit.

She shrugs. Nothing is never what it appears. I just have to keep my guard up. I spent the night at the orphanage...the nightmares came back. I just don't know what to do. She sighs.

Offers her a small smile. I'm sure ya'll figure it out... But I'm afraid I can't help ya there.. Don't know nothing bout' dreams n' their meanings. But ya seemed rested after t' night in 't temple.. maybe ya should take a couple of nights there.. ya always think better well rested. small grumble N' just let me know if ya need anything.

She nods. I think I will spend a few nights there praying. I hope I hope it works

I know I prefer t' pray in solitude.. but.. ya know.. I'll gladly give ya some company. Looks at her.

She would nod. Having someone there would be nice knowing I won't be alone should something happen.

Nods A'right, I could meet ya there when evening comes, if ya have other plans n' things t' do.

When evening comes she heads to the Temple in Myth Drannor. She sits on one of the back pews and starts her silent prayers.

Amar will join her in the temple, he would start with a small prayer at the statue of Rillifane Rallathil before he sits down near Mara not trying to disturb her prayers.

After her prayers were finished she would smile to Amar Thank you my friend for being here. Its quite comforting to have you around. She would rise from her seat and venture outside to the sunlight.

Amar offers her a nod as he gets up. Ya just let me know if ya wan't my company any other time a'right. Grumbles a bit as he gets out and the first rays of the sun hits him in t' face. Ya know where t' find me if ya need anything. Heads towards "his" bench, muttering a bit in his walk.

As the days passes, Amar picks up some new passtime activities. Retrieving smaller pieces of wood of different types, he starts carving figures, many different variations, shapes and sizes.

Rough-cutting with a dagger, he turns to a finer cutting with a smaller and finer blade. aftere this, he rubs it with a very rough fabric, turning to use finer fabrics from time to time.

Finally he applies beeswax, and satisfied with the result, he hands it over to the nearest kid around with a small smile and a grumble, only to pick up the next piece of wood.

Mara comes and sits near him looking different than in the past weeks. She looks refreshed and happy but still quite weak. Wearing not her armor but a plain red dress.
Good morning Amar. Much has happened in the last day.

Looks up as she sits near him and puts away his knife and the piece of wood he was working.
Offers her a warm smile. Morning.. Ya look better.. Much better.. Nods a bit. N' t' dress really looks good on ya.. nods with a light grumble But tell me what happened.. cause somewhat clearly has happened t' ya. Havent seen ya so relieved for some time now. He would find his pipe and make it ready as he looks into her eyes, waiting.

She smiles Well...HarvestMistress Julia had to perform an exorcism on me. I had no idea I was possessed. But it all makes sense now. It was trying to take me, my faith kept me from falling. The creature was hideous. It wasn't going to let me go without a fight. Vincent, Garren and Rolf defeated it while Julia kept me safe. Still looking weak but relieved.

Grumbles. N' exorcism.. Any idea what, when n' where? N' any risk of getting re-possessed? hrmm?

Looks at her.. Then shakes his head. Never mind.. It can wait.. Ya seem more in mood of some relaxation than getting bombarded by questions. Anything I can do.. ya eaten yet? or perhaps ya're just going t' get some sleep, eh?

Fishing always' a good way t' relax. Nods a bit with a grumble. Ya should do that. Offers her a small crooked smile.

I think I got some ointment somewhere t' t' bruises n' stuff.. but I guess t' temple already gave ya somewhat for it. But still.. anything I could do?

She would smile and nod Thank you Amar. They did give me something for the bruises and wounds. Anything you can do? You have done plenty. You have been here for me through this whole mess. Your friendship means more to me than anything.

Well.. I wasn't there when ya needed me most.. at t' exorcism that is. N I'm sure there'd be more important things that means more than my friendship.. but thanks for saying anyroad. Small chuckle

She smiles. There were plenty there to help me.  You were there during some of the worst.

Looks a bit at the pipe in his hand with a grumble. If ya say so. Then he looks at her. So.. what do ya plan now.. a few days of rest or?

Picks up the knife and the piece of wood, that at this point is starting to look like a flower, half the petals roughly carved. he turns it over a few times and starts carving once again.

Sits watching him whittle Oh probably rest a bit do some fishing. Have a few drinks smoke a couple of cigars. Chat with some friends.. She would smile

finishes another petal on the flower, then looks up. Aside t' cigars, I could give ya some company. Grumbles a bit. Ya know much bout' fishing?
