An Old Man Approaches Castle Krag

*Jonah makes the long, cold climb to the gates of Castle Krag.  When he arrives, he bows deeply to the Skymage looking over the gates.*

"Good evening, Master Magus. I am here to see a fire-sorceress in your keeping, if your esteemed Council will see fit to grant me such privilege..."



"I bring a small token of good-will to you and your Masters."

*Jonah holds out an oiled cloth, and opens it revealing a finely-wrought dagger*

The Skymage would look over Jonah with a critical eye, "There is no council here, only those who follow the Will of the Dread Lord. Speak your name and who you worship, Old Man. If there is no problem with whom you worship, then you will be allowed access to the courtyard, and maybe you will see her. Talk quickly."

There would be no motion to take the dagger.

*Jonah wraps the dagger back in the oilcloth*

"My name is Jonah, Faithful of Ilmater. I am a healer by trade, and know no magics. It should be known to The Black Lord that I am no threat to him or his followers."

The mage's eyes narrow dangerously for a moment, then he waves over a Swordhand and speaks to him in a low tone, before gesturing to the Swordhand.

"He will do papers up for you, and for the time being will escort you around the Courtyard. Any attempt to enter other buildings will result in dire consequences."

With that, the Swordhand would step forward with a sheaf of paper and a quill.

"Speak your name, your occupation, whom you worship, and your race for me."

*Jonah bows with deep respect, and nods with the Skymage's instructions*

"I understand and accept your conditions. I am Jonah Goodman, Healer, Faithful of Ilmater, Human."

The swordhand writes down everything on the paper, and below it signs his name along with the fact that the old man has permission to walk to the courtyard with an escort.

"There, I will follow you were you go. If you leave my sight, you will be detained and then thrown out of Krag at best."

((I will grant you the papers when I catch you in game at some point.))

*Jonah bows again* I am grateful for your assistance, My Lord.

*Jonah begins casually touring the courtyard, looking for Kendra*

This One has properly made Itself known as the property of the Mistress Kendra, having slain Jonah's beloved. This One has promised Itself to the Mistress Kendra until such time as his Beloved arrives to set him free.
