Elric at the Library (Myth Drannor)

Elric would enter the Library in Myth Drannor and request aid in finding documents partaining to the original laws of shadowdale as penned by Lord Mourngrym Amcarta and also if documents exist of the treaty of the dalereckoning - conditions for settlement of the land in particular.

The librarian raises a brow at him.

"This will take some searching and it may take me a while...why is it you are looking for such?"

He responds:

"The current legal situation in shadowdale is mired and evil worshippers enjoy the freedom of the town from a technicality.
If this is in breach of the aforementioned treaty or the prior proper laws of the town it may encourage the town leadership to rectify their mistake."

The librarian nods understandingly and goes sifting through a number of parchments in an organized area of the building. Pulling one in particular out, she hands it to him.

"These are the laws that were signed in by Lord Mourngrym."

She then leads him to a bookcase and trails her finger along some of the spines before taking one out. It's rather large, but she seems to know exactly whereabouts to look in it. Flipping through the pages, she finally finds what she's looking for and taps it with her finger.

"This is the information on the Dales compact. Mayor Glamerie had renewed it, but I think it's up to be renewed again once there is a new Lord of Shadowdale."
