The times that Leeora is not [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] working with the others, she can be seen working extremely hard in the fields of Shadowdale. She seems to think hard about something. Whatever it is, a set determination is on her face.

Whatever reason she's doing this, it's got her thinking deeply. Some rumors may be heard about how she is completing community service for something. Regardless, she makes no complaints about it. If anything, she works harder than normal, giving way to the thought that perhaps she knows she deserves this.

A bit of a late start as Milo heads to the cornfield behind the recently finished barn. After some failed attempts at shooing away a crow, he turns crops to rake up debris, corn husks, or any other unwanted objects in the fields.

He hums a work tune quietly to himself.

Leeora graciously accepts the water, a bright smile on her face despite the heat. She dips her head in thanks and goes right back to work, that determined expression still set on her face- she knows what she did wrong.

Milo would take the water with a nod. By mid day the giant of a man is shirtless, muscles gleaming in the sun. He basically looks like a model on a lumberjack calender. He chugs down the water and hands the mug back.

After her twenty hours of community service, Leeora goes to bathe, then prepares to don her armor and polish her mace and shield. Only a few people may know where she is headed. She makes her way out of town.

Milo takes to the fields one last time, another work tune hummed low. His mind is focused on his task that lies just hours away.

The rain hadn't let up, even as shadows grew longer across the fields. The sun has set, the moon creeps into the sky, and Milo pushes onward.

"Almost time, Tama. Almost time." Milo repeats this over and over in his head and the high moon illuminates the grain field.

Finished with his work, his back aching after working straight through midnight, Milo heads to the temple to change out of his rain-soaked clothes and muddied boots and bathe before his next task. After bathing, he dons his armor and heaves a heavy sigh as he heads for the Morning Farms.
