A ragtag group of adventurers were gathered around the campfire Myth Drannor. A zealous paladin, a bardess, a druid with her white tiger companion and 2 wizards of which one was very old. Suddenly a group of Akh Velhar soldiers appeared to ask for the adventurers aid in fending off a threat to the city. The arcanists of the group joined with the Akh Velhar wizard in creating a portal to the area where they had to go in order to fend off the threat and subsequently the adventurers headed on through it.
As they stepped out on the other side of the portal, they found themselves in a lush forest, the paladin cast detect evil and lead the way through the forest and into a dark and dank cave infested with both goblins and the undead. Upon entering the cave they heard a voice resonating from the walls saying “Who dares enter my domain? No matter my child shall dispose of you.” After much exploring and fighting they managed to vanquish the child of the evil and after defeating the vampire lord itself they followed the mist that it became to its coffin and staked it. As the evil had been vanquished the druid decided to cleanse the earth while one of the wizards returned to Myth Drannor and reported the success of the group.

Though the undead were not there long enough to leave a linger taint, rav speeds up the cleansing process with her actions, she may on some level feel that something, someone out in the wilds, has noticed her effects and her good heart, a feeling of well being may be felt for a brief moment after her work is done.

The bardess, Sen 'Thia , kept singing her happy songs all the way out of the cave. She was certain in her heart that all evil just hate happy songs, and with the vanquishing of the undead, she was convinced even moreso. She was oblivious that happy songs just might irritate goodly folks as well. Her talents to use shadow as a veil allowed her to look about the cave for chests and treasures that just thrilled her... Like shopping for free ! With an eager joy in her eyes , she picked the locks of every chest, holding her breath , she opened each lid, excited to find hidden surprise. It was not the items that thrilled her, it was the mystery of finding them. After all the undead were destroyed, and all the chests opened, her mind turned again to the joys of serving Sharess, and she skipped off, in her violet silk dress, stepping over corpses of goblins and ashes of undead... Humming her happy tunes...

Zealous - devoted or ardent in attachment, loyalty, or affection. If such a word was ever uttered at elric he'd wholeheartily agree that his devotion and affection for lathander's light and promoting his hope and optimism was staunch and unremiting.
When he had first heard of this "foe who could not withstand the sunlight" elric knew immediately that his lord and faith's most loathed enemy is afoot - vile drinkers of life... vampires. Elric immediately set about to organize the expedition with fellow adventurers some seeking gold , fame or merely to do a good deed. he did not care for reasons but welcomed the assistance.
The party marched to a cave in the forests from which foulness oozed from within. The party decided to enter the cave and was attacked by various slime and other abominations until at last encountering the vampires elric had suspected were lurking in the cave.
After defeating many slimes and vampires... they had come across a plump looking half elf-like person. a disguise which did not fool the party after detect undead was used and it was not a half elf but the elder vampire before them.
A tremendous battle ensued between the elder vampire (a creature not only strong by the power of vampirism but has survived long enough to acquire great power of his own). The party fought on as the vampire shapeshifted constantly and through cooperation of magic , healing and martial prowess had held their own long enough for the elder to tire and finally fall to elric's blade.
Knowing this was not the end elric chased after a mist that would lead them to the coffins
Once there they encountered a vampire childe guarding the coffins and battle ensued once more till the childe as formidable of a foe he was gave thanks to the party for he desired the freedom death would give him.
The coffins were then burned to ashes with the exception of one coffin that elric had personally driven a stake through the fetid vampire's heart.
Truely exhausted elric gave thanks to those who answered the call and lingered behind with Ravossel for she wished to purify the land. Elric would not abandon a friend nor would he abandon one in a sacred duty such as this and stood guard as the rest of the party went their ways.
Carrying Ravossel on his shoulder with donaleen by his side he marched to myth drannor weary but unrelenting in the task of protecting a comrade as he moved through the forests keeping an eye for any undead or drow who may lurk as he marched on.
Upon arriving to the city he would explain the situation if asked by a guard and take her to recover by leaving her at the care of the clergy at the dawnspire.
Elric sent a short missive to Myth Drannor , Shadowdale and his own church on the deeds and the record of battle.
After that he retired for a rest.

*Given that Elric carried Ravossel into the spire, Donnleen would keep fallowing Elric, all the while keeping her eye's on Elric. She would be come surprisingly quite persistent in fallowing Elric who carries Ravossel into the depths of the dawn spire.*
* If any would look At Ravossel, mainly at her face, they would see a very bright, happy smile across her face. As she feels the unknown power from a unknown being *
