A stranger in Rimwood

A man who looks like a heavy armed and experienced adventurer can be seen wandering around Rimwood, talking to the elves, dwarves and anyone who may pass by. The man also has put up a few posters around Rimwood. Someone who has been in Shadowdale before would recognize the man as one of the three new arrivals and the poster reads the same as the posters in Shadowdale about the wanted woman called "the Shade".

The strange man can now be seen wandering inside the Ironhouse halls, talking to the merchants and showing them the posters of "the Shade". A group of other heavy armored people gathers in the Rimwood, waiting.


At the same time the other man of the three from Shadowdale and a group of what looks like mercenaries are seen in the North Ride where the two forts are, asking merchants, guards and if they can find any, Black Hounds about "the Shade".

As the man sees the monk he watches her a moment before he follows.

No one whom is not of the clan or "friend" of the clan (whom has a key) is allowed in the private areas. The guard would turn them back. If they have buisness with the clan they are told to seek out the Thane or one of the councilers. However the Thane is in Shadowdale currently, as is most of the council. He could fetch Lady Silphie (the Thane's betrothaled) if needed.

Cruven would step out of the fort as word reaches him about the men and he'd walk over.

"Wha' can I do fer ye fellas?"

Using the name Dalia, she wanders about the Black Hounds Fort, doing a Routine Patrol. She looks at the Commander talking to the Stranger, shrugging she wanders over, stay within earshot of the newcomer.

Silphie would step from the corridor on the east side of the hall, walking quietly - she would pause, tilting her head as she spots a strange figure in the great hall.

"Hello? May I help you?"

The man follows Liliany as far as he can before he is stopped by a guard. He would obey and ask the guard about the woman he just saw.

"Greetings. I am looking for this woman or at least for information about her." The man says showing Cruven the poster he has seen in Shadowdale before.

The man turns away from the guard as Silphie approaches him: "Good day, ma'am. Me and my friends outside the halls are searching for this woman." He shows Silphie a poster which looks like those hanging around in Shadowdale about "the Shade". "Someone in these halls also caught my interest. A robed woman who just passed by. Can you tell me more about her?"

Silphie would smile politely and reach to take the flyer, reading it over before offering it back to the man. " I can't say I've ever heard of anyone named 'the Shade.' what do you intend to do once you find her?" She would glance towards the door that Lliliany escaped through, thoughtful.

The man follows her glance with his gaze a moment and then answers letting her take the flyer:

"The flyer should say it all. The person is a criminal, murderer and extremely dangerous. My job is to take her to her trial."

The man hands Mineva a flyer as well before he answers her question:

"Greetings. We are from Neverwinter where the crimes this woman has committed have taken place. Due to the severity of the crimes and the danger that comes with trying to capture this person we offer generous rewards to anyone who can help us."

The man looks quite serious when he answers the first question:

"Multiple murders along with many minor crimes."

He smiles to her then:

"We offer rewards for information and anything that can help us capture her. The reward depends on how much you help. If you manage to capture her yourself we offer you a sum of 100.000 gold coins."

"We're still investigatin', if we find the "shade" you folks'll be the first ta know."

The man nods but still hands Cruven a flyer:

"You are investigating already? Laron didn't tell me. Good though. The more the better the chances we find her. The last information we got led us to the Dales. She must be here somewhere."

New travelers arrived in Rimwood. Several foreign looking persons were guarding one rich looking man. One of the guards steps to the gates of the Ironhouse Halls and knocks saying:

"We are looking for the Shade."

Sara Panthera passes by on her daily trips into the Tybold mines where she delivers the fruits of her hardwork to the slaveworker known as Bryanna; not really, but she does deliver those gems. In her trips back and forth she takes note of these figures and overhears the question and she would wander off.

She fully assumes those people are going to be turned the other way - but as soon as they leave Sara would shadow them at a distance, to try and learn about their whereabouts or camp.

Sara would find out that the strangers came with a small ship.

Finding out the strangers came by ship she would approach them there. She pulls her red hood down her head to reveal her rainbow dyed hair and she holds up her hands far away from the handle of her visible mundane sword.

"I'm the one you're looking for."

Bryanna meets the stranger at the bridge between the front gate and the inner gate.

"How can Clan Ironhouse be of assistance?"

As soon as they announce their arrival the gurads would know Thane Valtore had standing orders to expect them and given his word they would be treated with full respect and shown inside the Halls to a room they can use while they stay there. He will attend them shortly in the Throne Room of the Clan to discuss the matter of "Shade".


//LMK if/when you want to do this IG please. As Valtore is who set up this meeting he will be meeting them.

Sara would also attempt to enter Ironhouse like she normally does, if possible, she would try to attend unless the Thane would not let her.
