Court of Misty Falls seeks :

The Court of Misty Falls is presently involved in a case, that recently went to hearing , and the stated facts indicate that the accused was capable of the alleged crime. A trial was set to ensue.

The Court seeks the following positions from the public, who may be qualified to apply:
1. Three jurors - persons not allied, dedicated, pacted, nor under influence of evil gods, dark forces , nor cultures where slavery is accepted. A juror would ideally be aware of magery and spell casting, be of stature where bribes would not be taken, carry no grudges against Misty Falls, it's inhabitants and members, and believe in fair justice to all, even persons they may not like.

2. Prosecutor - Persons not allied, dedicated, pacted, nor under influence of evil gods, dark forces , nor cultures where slavery is accepted. Such person should be able to withstand argument, be a seeker of truth, be aware of tricks and methods of deception, and have a desire to uphold decency and law protecting the public.

3. Sentencing Board - of the Three positions open, one has been awarded at this time. Applicants must be persons not allied, dedicated, pacted, nor under influence of evil gods, dark forces , nor cultures where slavery is accepted. Should a verdict of guilty be determined at end of trial, these members will determine fair and reasonable punishment, as well as any restitutions and amends the accused must endure, make and perform.

No details of the case can be discussed to any persons, not sworn into the above positions for the term of the case.

All applicants must apply to the Judicator of Misty Falls , Elektra Mysteria for approval , and subsequent oaths to the court.

Elektra sits at her judicial desk and looks up as Isiolia approaches with her request.
" Excellent." , she responds with a musical dip in her voice. "I find you ideal, as you have already stated that you are considering both sides of this story, precisely what is needed."
Relaxing her pose and setting down her feather pen, she continues.
" I already know you and your background, and swearing you in as a juror will be a breeze. Consider your self accepted."

We have all of our positions filled now and Hygge wants to do this on Thursday about 11 PM central US time.
Over all , the order is this:
1. Judge is there to keep order , directing the proceedings , making decisions on point of law.
2. Jurors are there to hear evidence , ask questions when they need more information ( as permitted by the judge ).
3. Prosecutor, to seek the truth
4. Sentencing board - only if a verdict of guilty is arrive at , will decide consequences, restitutions , amends and punishments.
5. Defendant may defend as wishes, short of violence.
This is a non traditional court. There will be no tricks that we see in modern courts where criminals walk free over a glitch in the system.
It should be noted, the claim of "Not Guilty by reason of insanity" , carries a high risk of being declared " Guilty by reason of insanity ", which is even worse.

Elektra recieves a delivery of a parchment, and she unfurls it , reading the message with in.
It says that Meadowflower is leaving the Dales back to her homeland and will not be attending a trial as scheduled.
Elektra immediately calls court into session and shares with members of the guild present, the case is dropped. She also declares that a warning will go to Ethan, yet no futher action need be taken.
