Rising From the Ashes: Shadowdale Hospital

Snorri returns to the Ironhouse Halls. There he gathers a contingent of dwarven volunteers to help. The group returns to Shadowdale.

On arrival, he approaches Jonah. "Oi got a dozen o t'lads an' lasses tae aid ye." He pauses. "Regardin' t'gold, we need tae discuss that. Oi assume ye be providin' materials ye mentioned in yer letter. Regardless, t'lads an' lasses be awaitin' yer assignment fer what needs doin'."

A scarred old-looking elf steps up, mithril-armoured with a longsword by his side. He looks the work over. Wanders off to the auction House, puts his armour into safekeeping though he keeps his sword by his side, and offers help. He might not look it, but his slender frame is strong and he can quietly haul good quantities of stone or wooden baulks as needed. If he's not already busy, he keeps an eye on Jonah pulling the sledge and offers help. An exhausted planner and organiser is not ideal.

Elektra completes her estimation of inventory that she can have delivered from preparations at Misty Falls keep.
She completes the order and hands it to a messenger to deliver to the Keep , for stone and masonry tools and mortar.
"With all the damned Zhent activity, I hope this ends up here , and not somewhere else..." , She mutters to herself , as the messenger departs.

If Snorri were to be come aware of the materials shipment Elektra arranged, he would offer some of his workforce to guard the shipment

Each new worker is a blessing as far as Jonah is concerned. He sets each of them to work according to their own talents as they arrive, which can be somewhat difficult given his reluctance toward speaking. He gestures, points, pontificates, and if all else fails, writes what needs to be done.

After writing his last set of written instructions, those attentive to the planning process may notice a rusty-colored stain on the papers amid the smudged and shaky handwriting -- anything better than a glance reveals the stains and dark-red smudges to be blood.

Elektra would accept the offer of guards, and give Snorri a parchment to carry to the Keep , verifying ghat she approved the escort , and they were not sneaky bandits.

Sordoc can be seen using his somewhat nimble feet to help fetch things for people, rather then using his strength to carry as the mismatched heights of of himself and some of the other laborers would not be a boon. He seems to try chatting with the stone masons and craftsman more, keeping an ear out for gossip and such, though he does seem to keep a weather eye on the people supervising the build.

A small, familiar svirfneblin darts over towards what's left of Hospital. His normal bark textured armor replaced by a simple tunic and loose-fitting pants. He glances around the remains, shaking his head, muttering to himself in his native tongue.

"This will never do", Pheriad says to himself in svirfneblin, toeing a small piece of rubble, "The Ilmateri have always been good....They help out so many people around here."

Reaching his stubby little hand down, he picks up a small, broken stone nearby. Where it may had once been a piece of a sanctuary of healing, now, it was little more than a cracked and broken shard of debris. Looking around, he gave a moment to thought....

"Rockface!", the little svirfneblin called out to his bodyguard, his protector, "please help me."

Within moments, the immense elemental was before him. His blank expression holding a gaze to his friend, his ward. He almost knew what was to be asked of him before the words even came out from the svirf's mouth.

"Rockface", the tiny little druid said in the Old Tongue, looking up at his friend, 'we need to help our other friends rebuild this hospital. You don't have to, if you don't want, but we all could use your strength!"

With that, the tiny little druid turned, and began moving smaller rocks from the rubble. His elemental friend followed suit, lifting heavier chunks of stone and scorched timbers, moving them off to the side.

"The Ilmateri need help, even if they won't ask.", Pheri said to himself in svirfneblin, the first droplets of sweat turning the dirt and grime from his charcoal skin into streaks of mud down his face.

Electra would casually mention to any she passed that there is now a medical clinic open at Misty Falls Keep, and until the hospital is rebuilt, those in need can seek help there.
With a little pause and a lift of one brow, she would continue...
" as long as those in need are not Zhents, Drow, Cyricists, orcs, goblins, infernal or abyssal loyal , or ... "
... And she might ramble on for a bit...

An old man in his fifties walks looking around for the person in charge, he's dressing comfortable clothes ready to help rebuild the place.
"Hey youngster, I am looking for a lass named Laura I think?" he would ask to the first person to stumble upon him
